Bad experience
I ordered a bit online on 12/11/25 and on 20/11/25 I sent an email asking whether it had been shipped as I believed it to be in stock. I received a reply saying it would be a 6 week wait as it wasn't in stock and I could request a refund or find an alternative. I requested a refund which eventually came through on Paypal after about a week. A couple of days later (8/12/25) the refund was cancelled so I still do not have my refund. Words escape me - I don't know how a business like this can continue to trade. I wish I had read the reviews prior to ordering. Misleading and dishonest. Now I have to fight for a refund.
Poor Service
Ordered a bit on October the 22nd which online stated it was "in stock" I emailed 3 weeks later after no correspondence only to get an email stating it was actually in fact NOT in stock. I then proceeded to wait another 3 weeks and after that accumulative 6 weeks I requested a refund, this was "pending" on the 4th of December. Finally today I get an email saying the refund was "Cancelled" of course I can't get a hold of anyone from this company. It's now been 7 weeks and I am prepared to take this further. To put this into perspective I ordered the same bit (sadly just too big) directly from the UK/Ireland and it arrived in 12 days.... I did considering buying from them again however thought it would be nice to support local & Australian and it said it was in stock. I can say now I deeply regret this choice and am shocked at how difficult communication has been with this company. Their response time is incredibly poor, I haven't once had my phone call answered (yes I called within their business hours). I am really disappointed and would recommend buying your bits elsewhere.

Ordered two bits and took 12 months to receive. NO correspondence at all to reassure me they were still coming. Ordered spurs and after 12 months of waiting with again no updates or replies to emails. I asked for money back. Ordered same spurs from Queensland that arrived within 7 days. Had two shots but no more lost my business and won’t promote yours. Very very poor service

I have contacted Bit Bank numerous times (emails, phone calls, facebook) w/o any appropriate response from them. It's regarding a faulty Bomber bit. I have provided photos, video + the invoice - still no reply. Bomber bits have life time guarantee. The faulty bit is not a reflection on Bit Bank however the Non Response is! Australian Consumer Law it is but where is their customer service? - I just want the issue resolved, PLEASE.
Update 2/10/25 - Grateful the matter is resolved thx. A friend bought from MyBreeches (UK) 2wks delivery $30 less incl. shipping. Dixon Smith Equest. certain Myler bit $60 less, 4days delivery & helpful friendly staff :)
Dodgy, unreliable and incompetent company.
I ordered a bit from this company in June. 7 weeks later it is still not here. I have sent multiple emails and tried to call them on their non functioning number. At every stage I have been given inaccurate information and fobbed off. Promises of communication from them never eventuate. 2 weeks ago I asked fir my money back and was told that the bit had been dispatched and that they would get me a tracking number. Needless to say, no bit, and no tracking number. On Monday 11th, I emailed again and told them that if the bit wasn't here by today( Thursday 14th August) I want my money back. No response from that either. If zero stars was an option I'd award it to this company. Do not use them.

I received a further email from this company fobbing me off yet again. They told me they'd facilitate a refund at the beginning of this week. No sign of it yet. Further emails sent.
Edited to say that finally, on August 26th, my refund appeared in my bank account.

The 2 times I've ordered bits from this company they took over 2 months to arrive. They are quick to take the money and slow to deliver. I would do what I've done and find another bit supplier. 6/7/23 was the date of my experience.
Dreadful customer service Where is my bit? …
I ordered a bit months ago which was supposed to be in stock. After emailing to follow up, I was told, it would be in mid February. I've tried to phone, but I just received a text message back to say sorry they missed me, could I text them by question. I did. I'm waiting for reply. Dreadful customer services.
Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. Order a bit online which was advertised as in stock. After a month of not receiving the bit, tried contacting them with no reply. They only replied after I put a post up asking if anyone else had issues.

You would need to be absolutely crazy to deal with this company. Still waiting after several months, only communicating once when we sent an email telling them how unhappy we were. Got all sorts of guarantees back but still nothing. Seriously how do they stay in business?
If you are considering ordering through them, proceed with caution and extreme patience because you will need it. Absolutely disgraceful customer service, absolutely don’t give a toss and absolutely arrogant about it!! I deal with the horse world on a daily basis and I’ve never experienced anything like this! Congratulations, you have managed to crawl to the end of my tether.
In regard to your response, Rod is my real name. I ordered a bit on 6th August and heard absolutely nothing by 16th September even thought it was showing as in stock. It was ordered in my Granddaughters name ( Trista) and I emailed you via her email in 16th September to which you responded that the bit was due within 6-10 business days and would be shipped to customers by the end of the month. Still waiting, no one answered your phone even though your Web site says “ call us”. Looking at previous reviews, you would hardly be surprised at mine. It appears you have a track record of not keeping your customers advised. I’d be delighted if you could “ look into it” and advise just how long it actually is going to take before I receive the order that was paid for on 6th August.

Waited 3 months for my order with Bit Bank (NS Turtle Top) with frustratingly inaccurate and piecemeal updates. Eventually I requested a refund.
Then purchased NS Turtle Top online with My Breeches UK on the Friday and bit arrived to my door the following Thurs, less than 7 days. Same price, brilliant service.

This seems to be common trend - people ordering bits, then no word for weeks on order! Pick up your game and quit wasting people's money and time. I too am now having this experience, ordered a bit - told it's in stock, the manager said she was away... does she ever work? No one is ever online or picking up the phone, but happy to keep taking money for orders.

They are very bad in communicating, made an order never heard anything back, no responds to messages , emails ect.
Poor service from start to finish
Ordered a bit from Bit Bank on 5 Mar and was told at time of purchase that it may take 2-3 weeks to arrive, but it ended up taking 7.5 weeks to arrive.
I was required to purchase a "30 day Trial" to be eligible to return the bit however when it did arrive I noted that the manufacturer gives a 100% guarantee on the bit anyways so can't help but feel cheated on that one.
Unfortunately the bit did not correct the issues that I was facing with my horse and I returned the bit to the address provided by and confirmed with Bit Bank. After they received the bit it took raising a case with PayPal (so grateful that I used PayPal to make the purchase) to even get a response from Charmae and she is still dragging her heels every step of the way on the refund process. I've now escalated the case to PayPal and uploaded everything to them to finalise the case including email confirm from Bit Bank that they have received the return item.
My recommendation to anyone considering buying from Bit Bank is don't... It's easy to get a bit fitter on the phone but you'll never get customer support on the phone.

After 2.5 months no product delivered and refund issued
Placed an order at the end of November for a little Christmas present for my partner. Nothing on the product page regarding not having products in stock or lengthy wait times. In early January I asked for an update and was told that the product had to be sourced from overseas and that the suppliers were just coming back from holiday, stock was expected within 10 days and that It would be delivered by late January. Mid February still no updates, requested and received a refund.
Ordered and paid for a bit set… never received after 2 months
Ordered and paid for a double bit set early October at which time I was advised that it would be 2-4 weeks delivery.
2 months later and after conflicting emails I am advised that the bits haven't left for Australia as yet and no end date was known - supply issues out of their control.
However Neue Schule in the UK advised that there should be no supply concerns.
On further questioning re supply date the business owner processed a refund.
After 2 months of waiting still no bits. Why promote a product when you have supply issues?
