They stole my holdings and locked my account for being in a "bad country" I'm in the U.S.A. I don't even use a vpn. It makes no sense. Their support team won't even contact me. I'm out $10,000+. Avoid Bittrex at all costs. You cannot trust them.

Used to love Bittrex, but seems like they went on the scam side. Unable to get into my account for weeks, customer support terrible and not useful. Move to Kraken, Coinbase or some other trusted exchange.

DO NOT USE BITTREX! Their Customer Service department is incompetent and unprofessional. Every time I need to make a change to my account, I waste huge blocks of time emailing my Driver's License and selfies.

I purchased a new phone and migrated all of my apps over to my new phone. The only crypto app that gave me issues was BITTREX. They refused to disable my 2FA even after I provided identification.

I haven't purchased any crypto via BITTREX in over a year because of their draconian Customer Relations team.

I already know that closing my account will be difficult. Definitely will be de-activating my account once it's UNLOCKED!!

Bittrex stolen my $12 K. they disable my account, no response from support. Scam exchange.

Account was disabled for a month for no reason. When I told them that I'm going to contact a lawyer they let me get out my funds and ended the customer relations with me even though I already told them I just want my money back and will never use Bittrex again. Stay away. It used to be good but now they show alarming behavior!

Still holding my PYR coins for months on end! Customer service absolutely awful. No information given about the situation. Avoid this exchange like the plague.

I have a small account with bittex. They have locked my account asking me to send them "source of funds" which I have done and my account is still locked for nearly a week. Nobody is replying to my emails and they don't seem to care about me. Be very careful if you decide to put your crypto with them

My family had 3 accounts with bittrex including business account. Suddenly they request to update verification, even though everything was updated already. Then they locked it with no explanation. I had to interview attorneys to find out what to do about it. Arbitration is the only option, so you would have to pay prob $5k just to fight any disputes, so that is how they rip off many people. I filed official notice of dispute as per their agreement and they have 30 days to resolve, so finally after 60 days waiting on one account and 45 days waiting for 2nd account, they unlocked it and agreed to my request to close the account. Do not trust bittrex or any other exchanges. NOT YOUR KEYS NOT YOUR MONEY. Get a ledger or trezor or any other reputable wallet and do not trust institutions with your money or your crypto.

I didn’t use my account for a couple months and it locked me out. Ok, no biggie let me just email them and verify it’s me. WRONG, it’s been 3 years now and still nothing, I’m looking now for a class action lawsuit bc it will cost too much to sue on my own. STAY AWAY there are plenty of better platforms out there that won’t steal your funds!

Horrible company. They are holding my account hostage and blocking my access until I provide them with a picture of my driver license plus three selfies.
Despite the fact that I was able to access my account smoothly when I first opened it.
I would never advise anyone to invest with them . I will be taking some legal action soon.

Bittrex didn't rip me off, but:
1. They take forever to respond to held desk inquiries (like 5 days);
2. I deposited $250 USD to buy PINK coin, and then 5 days later they told me "Oh, ya, you can't just buy any coin with fiat money. And no, we don't tell you that before the deposit."
3. So I stuck it into BTC and withdrew it (after the fiat had matured), and was hit with rather large BTC withdrawal fees. And you may say: "Yes, but you need to pay the transfer fee", to which I say "Which is why I use Gemini - no transfer fee for BTC withdrawals."

I will definitely stick with Gemini, will never use Bittrex again. Actually: Worthless. Who needs them?

Every time I add additional money gives me this same message, but they wont let me at 1-2 dollars cause minimum amount is 10 dollars.

Scam exchange. Locked me out of my account 3 months ago demanding I go through KYC again even though I was already verified. I have made dozens of efforts to find a solution and they've been claiming that there is a bug in their KYC verification process and ignoring me. I have lost all access to my funds. Its absolutely ridiculous.

I have never seen such a bad exchange.
HUGE fees and bad support.
They give you Bittrex Credits (so they say) but you cannot use them on trading.
Overall, not recomended at all.
Very bad experience with Bittrex in the past three years.
Forget it!

bittrex will only take your money and wont pay out suprised they they still have banking privileges my great learning experience back in 2017 used them for transfers payments etc worked no problem had left 1 btc in unfortunateley lost phone with 2fa auth. Been refused re application numerous times. Please Dm if similar experience,

I, too, just got my money stolen by Bittrex. They take your money, disable your account, then refuse to communicate. Joe Plummer gave me so much support and guidance:
Write a complaint to the Washington State Attorney General's Office and the BBB, and post comments on social media. I'll file a lawsuit next. Help others avoid the same mistake, then help to contribute to the solution.

They don't reply and don't process my EUR Withdrawal

bittrex: no helpdesk exist, and they do every effort to make sure that no response is ever given !!!
