After having successfully completed the first Atomic Swap in MEW, I decided to do another one again, however it has been delayed for several days to receive my ETH.

On the one hand I am angry because this delay has prevented having arrived on time in an ICO, but on the other hand I understand that it is one of the first Atomic Swap that has emerged and is very practical since it is incorporated into MEW and probably has been saturated recently by the explosion of new users who have entered the world of cryptocurrencies.

I will continue using it to show my support to this company that has bet on a technology that will revolutionize the way of exchanging between coins, however I write here as a wake-up call to improve these errors soon, because the fact of working with MEW will not be enough.

Swapped 1 ETH for BTC through Bity.com, but received a time out.
After waiting for an hour, no BTC showed up in my wallet.
I ended up emailing them for help and asking for assistance through their chat support (this requires you to make an account on their site)

Never recieved ETH/BTC, emails ignored…

I also attempted to swap from ETH to BTC about a week ago. The eth network was slow so my transfer did not occur within the 10 minutes. Nothing happened until the next day when the ETH was pulled from my account. According to another review here, this transaction should have been void and my etc should have been sent back to me. That never happened, and I received no feedback about it.

I got a response from Olga telling that my order was cancelled because of the 10 minute clause. But 3 days later the ETH was gone from my account.
I emailed bity multiple times with absolutely no response. It's been nearly a week since the transfer attempt, and 5 days since the my eth was sent I tracked the transaction and it showed it coming back in from what i saw and then it went back out 2 days ago.
I tried to contact thru live chat but that service is inop the website won’t let me do anything to try and reach out to them.

Very frustrated at this point.

I cancelled my withdrawal on Bity from BTC to CHF yesterday. Now my BTC is not in my wallet and I can see nothing in Bity. I wrote e message yesterday and today to Bity but didnt receive any answer yet.

haven't received any bitcoin yet
got some address but its not showing anythinh
or i dont know how to use it
pls advice

I've started a swap from ETH to BTC on Dec 10th afternoon.
Nearly 5 days later and 4 e-mails to the support team: no reaction from the bity-Team!!!
Absolutely frustrating and not acceptable.
There are no BTC in my wallet until now!

It seems they are not working seriously and it's hard to trust this site/team, otherwise they would have responded to such issues!

My expectation is, either they cancel my order or they speed up my request!

UPDATE: after this Review they responded and reactivated my Transaction which went well. ok.

Will update review soon, issues were resolved.

4+ days since i did swap ETH to BTC, ETH gone and still waiting for BTC.
Support doesn't work at all, waiting reply 4+ days.

UPD. Recieved BTC in 2 hours after review.

I used bity.com service to convert 0.2 BTC for ETH and bity did not deliver my ETH, is this a scam?

When I check the Tx or click on the link it says it doesnt exist.

I have now mys BTC in my Wallet.Thanks Bity Trustpliot support but ticket support does not works.
I think everybody has not their BTC in wallet hast same problem that me...read solution by Bity....

AND more BS coming from these guys. Funny no one will respond to an email, but they are quick to jump on and throw BS excuses around when they are getting reviewed online. So just to be clear the swap process, Step #3, the one that says "ETHER RECEIVED" is highlighted in green. Not sure if you need to look up the word "RECEIVED" in the dictionary. That means YOU HAVE MY ETHER. How can I put the wrong address in? The way it works on my ether wallet is, I put in ONLY where I want the BTC to go, the address for the ether transfer is automatically generated. So again, you RECEIVED my ether, as you can see from the step #3, and I have no BTC. Please stop ripping people off...

Just like everyone else, tried to swap my ETH to BTC. Went to the site that was listed on MYETHERWALLET. Wrote several emails thus far for the last 5 days and nothing. Lost $200.00 worth of ETH. Really disappointed in the MYETH team for not researching this company. They shouldn't have this on their site. Stay AWAY. They'll take your money.

I was helped by many employees in different languages (English and French). My exchange transaction was lost or stuck but they took care of it fast and I received all my exchanges within 1 day in my bank account.
I must also thank Airbitz!
If you give Bity.com a chance, you will have help within 24-48 hours or even sooner.
(Sorry I was skeptical at first!)

Unfortunately it seems they are a scam, because they take money and converted to Cryptos, but you can never achieve to take the cryptos to other wallets or to take back the money to your bank account.
I also wrote them by email and by chat and there is no single replay.
I am very said to see this happen in Switzerland.

As others said before, It seems, that they make money while delaying transactions.

I registered 2 days before and placed my 1st order.
The money was instantly transfered from my bank account.
No Bitcoins in the meantime.

Afterwards Bity contacted me and wanted my passport or other legitimation. So I ask my self: Why do they 1st take the money and afterwards ask for verification?

I sent them the documents.

I contacted support 2 times (yesterday and today).
Yesterday the support told, my verification is processed within the same day. Today another supporter told me, it may take up to one week (with
an "template"-response)!

Sorry, but that's a joke - this are not good manners.
In the meantime I placed 8 Orders in a few ours at a different coin-trader.

Friendly team, they never lost my pennies and support the community bitcoin / altcoin.

I recently made a transaction to move (Eth to BTC), to be honest it was slow (took 12~ hours) what matters is the fact that i reached out to Customer Support at Bity and they solved my issue quickly. At the end i got my BTC the customer support was very friendly and i will continue to swap money through Bity.

Recommended because their exchange rate is very good. and definitely is not an SCAM.

For the second time I made an order from them. And for the second time I have problem with them !

At the same time I placed order on Kraken (made 2 orders from kraken), and I received all my funds under 1 day ! The second order has been updated and funded under 5hours !!!!!

I still wait Bity since 5 days now ! And the bank is the same of Kraken !

The customer service is absolutely ridiculous, they reply 1 time on 10.

They are speculated on your funds, especially now with anxious market and profit a lot of it.

They will telling to you they have trouble, that it's automical process etc etc etc etc...

I canceled my last order and WILL NEVER TRYING TO DO SOMETHING WITH THEM.

sent money, no customer service. never got my requested BTC for my ETH. Lost a lot of Ether. for them to be listed on MEW, is an embarrassment to Ethereum and the community. Stay away.

As a reply for my account, yeah, Ether is now 200+-$ lower than my initial exchange which was around 360$. You guys are terrible. Check your emails to investigate and handle those first before you try and handle complaints here to save face. I've sent plenty of emails to your so called "support" team, as well as MEW. ALL BE CAUTIOUS, USE SHAPESHIFT, BECAUSE THE FEES ARE NOTHING COMPARED TO WAITING A MONTH FOR A REPLY IN THE CRYPTO COMMUNITY WHERE THE PRICE IS VOLATILE. My money would have held value if i actually got it exchanged to the new currency i requested.

Bad experience. I wired the money to bity on a friday. All of a sudden on the Wednesday thereafter (5 days later) I get an e-mail that I have to verify my account. Nobody ever told me that I have to do that (part of the reason why I chose the website). I verify the account and get two e-mails stating that they still have not received my payment. I talk to my bank and obviously they (bity) had already received the money. No reply from bity. Two days later (friday and 7 days after I wired the money) I receive two e-mails (automatically generated obviously) saying that the order went through. One week earlier (when I transferred the money) the ether price (incl. fees) was at around 240 €/ETH. I finally receiced the coins at an exchange rate of 331 €/ETH. Decide yourself if it is okay of bity to wait a couple of (long) days until they process an order. In my case it cost me a lot of money...
