I started working with Sviat about two years ago, when I decided to start my own construction company. At the beginning, he showed me the basics — how to find the right jobs, price and estimate projects, find clients, market the business and get the first money coming in. What I liked was that it was always practical, with real examples and real projects.

Sviat has a lot of experience in construction and with clients. He knows so many small details that you simply don’t think about when you’re starting out, especially when it comes to bigger commercial projects and tenders. I had the opportunity to work with him on several projects, including Drakes, and honestly, that was one of the most valuable parts for me. I got to see how everything actually works from the inside — how he deals with clients, architects, designers and other people involved in the project. I learned a lot from that, and at the same time I made good money working together with him.

My company has now been running for about two years, and I’ve had a really positive experience overall. I’m grateful to Sviat for giving me the opportunity to learn from him and, more importantly, to actually work alongside him on real projects.

If you’re thinking about doing the training, I would definitely say it’s worth it. There are a lot of things you just don’t learn by yourself. You learn them from people who have already been through it, made the mistakes and know how things really work.

More than a business course — a different way of thinking

I’ve gone through a number of business courses and educational programmes over the years, so I approached Bizmentor with fairly high expectations. It has genuinely exceeded them.

What immediately struck me was the quality of the thinking behind the material. The course doesn’t simply tell you what to do — it makes you understand why you should do it, how to analyse situations, how to think strategically, and how to make better business decisions.

While going through the material, I repeatedly found myself thinking: “This is exactly how I think.” The logic, principles and overall approach are remarkably close to my own way of looking at business.

That is what makes Bizmentor different for me. It doesn’t feel like a collection of generic business advice. There is a clear methodology behind it, supported by practical thinking and real-world experience.

Another thing I value enormously is the effect the course has on your mindset.
