I’ve used this company before a few weeks ago with a new boiler installation.
Whilst doing so they found a long time leak on the hot water cylinder tank which needed replacing etc. Once again I can’t praise them enough. Their engineer Ellis arrived at the said time and grafted away all day. He wasn’t happy to leave and late until all working checks were complete with no leaks etc. I’ll say it again. I throughly recommend this company 100% and thank you 👍🏼

My radiators had been performing poorly for years, and I knew I needed a power flush. B&K came out to check and assess and duly this was booked. Not as expensive as I had feared, just over £80 per radiator. And wow, what a difference this has made, we have had to turn all our rads down since then.
The chaps that came were so polite and quiet and tidy we did not even know they were in the house half the time. A marvellous service and worth the money.

I must say I was surprised to read one lady’s rather negative review but noticed she has left negative reviews elsewhere - not a positive review in sight. Some people just like to complain - probably because they want the job done for free - I wouldn’t even want to give them my services!! So no love lost there. Bottom line from my multiple experiences is B&K are well respected, knowledgeable and do a sterling job.

We decided to replace our very old boiler before it decided for us and from the outset B and K were amazing. Explaining our options on a site visit and then sending through the quote as discussed quickly. The work was booked in and the installation was carried out without any dramas by Steve, who immediately put my mind at rest about how straightforward it would be. He was one of the best tradespeople I have ever used, personable, efficient and very tidy! I was expecting some making good to be necessary but there was absolutely no damage at all. He explained the new system to me and reassured me that back up advice would be available if needed. I could not recommend B and K highly enough. They made what I thought would be a major headache just another couple of days, so thank you very much.

This would have been a 5 star review but the person who came to give us an estimate for a new boiler was so abrupt and monosyllabic it was impossible talk to him.
We had suffered a problem with a pressure valve and an air filter and the plumber did the job, but sadly left us without any hot water and no water in one of the bathrooms. This was remedied the next morning. As the boiler was knocking on (10 years) we decided to cut our losses, hence the visit from misery man.
A week later we have a spanking new boiler and are very happy with it, just a thermostat to be fitted indoors.
All the actual plumbers were brilliant, got on with the job, treated our home with respect, and were a pleasure to work with.
I might add this is the fourth boiler B&K have installed for us over the years, my husband having used the company for over 40+ years in a business capacity.

Excellent and rapid service from B&K when my power shower broke down. They attended the next day and got it going as a temporary fix, and a week later obtained and installed a replacement. Their staff were helpful and friendly, working neatly and carefully. I can recommend B&K as an efficient and reliable company.

B & K carried out the replacement and rerouting of a leaking internal water mains pipe running from the stop valve in the ground floor cloakroom, vertically through the kitchen, under the floor in the upstairs bedroom, and then vertically into the loft space to feed the water storage tank. All work carried in a very clean, competent and professional manner with minimal disruption.

Engineer attended Leaking pipe connected to Central Heating. Engineer explained what was causing the issue and popped out to get new pipe. Polite, unassuming, clearly explained issue and what needed to be done and answered my questions patiently. Job well done and very happy it is sorted. Thank you

Terrible experience.
Two lads showed up to fix our boiler and radiator. They arrived with the wrong parts to complete the job. One went off shopping to get the parts and they charged us for labour whilst they were having a jolly afternoon out for 35 minutes. One lied to my face to say he stopped the clock. It took an extra 30 minutes to fix the radiator. We were really nice to them and they fobbed us off.
When we contacted them, they didn’t believe us (obviously to suck more money from us)
The joke is on them though, for a £30 deduction to resolve a complaint, they have lost out on a future service with us. Our boiler needs to be replaced at the end of the year. You’ve lost yourself 2-3k 👏 Smart move.
Just remember, karma keeps receipts.
These guys are cowboys. AVOID.
Update to reply to BK: Why bother apologising? ultimately, the facts speak for themselves. Other customers have also pointed out inconsistencies in billing. You have partially admitted that there was a communication issue—ideally, the parts should have been ready before you arrived and your staff lied. Unfortunately, we were billed for your mistake.

B&K last week relocated and fitted a new boiler and 2 new radiators. The guys were really professional, gave good communication and were friendly. We are really pleased with the products and service. They left the place clean and made good (within the scope of the work) the gaps left from the work. They have even come back to help on a query on one radiator to hep resolve. Would highly recommend.

Engineers were great but noticed on bill hourly rate was higher than quoted both by email on the day also on the day by their admin staff that I spoke to in the morning. When I queried this I was informed that the higher hourly rate was an elevated rate because of the Christmas period . This was 30th December. This was the first time I had been told this . They eventually agreed to charge what they had quoted on more than one instance only 2 hours earlier. This has spoiled the impression I had of this company when the engineers had left . They are being let down by poor customer service from the office staff .

The experience with B&K Boilers was mixed. Both engineers we saw were great, but the Customer Service is abysmal and is not in line with the service. We had the first engineer (Jason) out to repair a leak -he was diligent and really professional. Regrattably within a few days the leak reocurred in the same spot on the pipe (where a stopcock serviced a hob), so I requested a return visit. This was on a Friday evening and went to their out-of-hours team. The first person we spoke with said someone would come out no problem, then on the Saturday the engineer allocated spoke to us on the phone and said he had no parts left and all he'd do was cut off out supply if he came - he was totally disinterested in resolving the fault. We were left with a gas leak or no heating so we cancelled him for obvious reasons. I took another afternoon off work (after about six weeks of worrying) and requested we have the original engineer back as he could see the issue from the first callout. I was told I couldn't request him; I'd get whoever they allocate. The next guy (Hamish) was great and the issue seems to be resolved now. However, I expected (as this call should have been resolved on the first callout) that there wouldn't be a huge cost. The bill was about £250 in total from both callouts and all that actually needed replacing was a little stopcock servicing one hob. The real problem arose when I qustioned the bill for our second visit and asked for a call from the manager to discuss it. Matthew - the manager duly called back. I can honestly say this man's attitude and rudeness was breathtaking - he persistently spoke over me and refused to allow me to explain why I was disattisfied with the bill. When I said I couldn't believe how rude he was to a customer he said "you're not being polite to me - it's two-way!" From the get-go he was defensive and aggressive. I paid the bill and asked the girl on the desk for the owners name so I could write a formal complaint and was told to write to Matthew. I said I wanted to complain about Matthew and wanted the name of someone more senior. She said she didn't know, then after pushing I got "Mark" but she refused to give a surname "I feel uncomfortable with that". It was unbelieveable. Had the engineers themselves not been great, there would be no stars - the customer service from the office is utterly appalling. The weekday engineers are great - their office team & weekend call-out service was really awful. It felt as though they were just after as much money as possible and were totally disinterested with their customers.
Follow up from response: The information in the response is untrue and a manipulation of both the timeline and facts. When one complains to this company there is no professionalism. Their statement below has further reinforced how utterly awful their attitude is.

We have used b and k for our new boiler fitted 2 years ago and have the yearly check under the warranty. All communication with b and k is brilliant and have found the engineer we had a few weeks ago very helpful and friendly. He even took his time to show me how to turn my gas off outside incase of an emergency and that to do which I was compleltly clueless about. I have found customer service very good and reccomend
