Oops I have done it again, dress seen on FB go to website and you have a friendly looking shop with a middle age lady selling posh looking frocks - 15 days later you are the owner of a shiny unflattering dress that’s not like the picture and the knowledge you have been ripped off . Have emailed for returns let’s wait to see what happens ! Avoid avoid avoid

SCAM . Garment received did not resemble photo and was not in any way same quality / style or fabric advertised. Very cheap thin polyester material with its colourway only on one side, with contrast white stitching on colour fabric. Arrived with no paperwork and no return label and on investigation, can only be returned to CHINA at customer expense. No communication from company and website states a history in uk but website set up in April 2026.

Scam website. Quality is atrocious and not anything like the photos.
I managed to get £80 / £95 refunded by constant emailing and persistence.

I should have checked here before ordering from Blackmore London. OMG, the customer service was answering all my questions in less than 10hrs before I ordered and now stopped me answering once I want to return the dresses. Worst customer service ever.

Does anyone know how to return and get a refund?

This is a scam. Shipped and return from/to china. Quality poor for what you get.

SCAM - DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGEPOLE!! I can’t believe I fell for this scam! I am generally a sceptic when it comes to online shopping but, like other customers, I fell for their fake advertising and spent over £150 on awful products made from cheap materials. I waited nearly three weeks for them to arrive and was beyond disappointed with the poorly finished, ill-fitting polyester items they sent me. The company seems genuine on the surface of things but are completely falsely advertising the company as an established London boutique, selling well designed garments made from quality fabrics. The reality couldn’t be further from the description. Upon contacting them, they responded quickly, telling me that they would only consider a refund if I sent them pictures of the items and covered the international shipping costs to return them. My response was that I would not be willing to pay international shipping to a supposed London based company and that I would expect a full return. I have not heard from them since. On the back of this, my email has now self-generated over 200 drafts messages in my outbox and I will be contacting the police and consumer services for advice on this worrying development. STAY WELL AWAY FROM BLACKMORE LONDON - THEIR BUSINESS IS A SCAM!

As other posters mentioned, totally awful, cheap material made in China, with a returns policy that makes it cost prohibitive to actually send it back. 'Started in 2007' seems suss, as their social media goes back a few months and the emails look like they come from a different company. All a facade for yet another cheap Chinese factory.

Do not use this company it’s a scam

This is a fraud website. I received two items I ordered from the website and they do not match the description at all. Quality is so cheap and doesn't match the pictures shown on the website. I paid a huge amount for the products and I got a third class items. I am disgusted.

DO NOT BUY. website looks genuine, shows the ‘shop’ in London. I thought I did checks and seemed all ok, as has returns policy.BIG MISTAKE. This is a scam, what arrived was a very very cheap polyester dress with buttons hanging off, wonky stitching, scrunched up in a bag.
Have tried to return where it states you email them for an address in China to pay postage to.
No reply to my email for this address. AVOID AVOID

I have fallen for this scam too! Expected cotton and silk dresses, spent £76 and received cheap polyester dresses that wouldn't even suit a mannikin!! Now in the process of finding out how to return & get my money back. I thought I'd done my checks on the company but didn't see this site.
Reporting to Trading Standards
I suggest we all report to Trading standards.
I managed to get a return address for them but when I checked it it was a courier service so didn't trust it. I then settled for 75% of the cost of the dresses. They kindly said I could keep them!!

DO NOT BUY! this is a scam company. Clothing is not cotton/linen. I’ve just had my item delivered and it is poorly made synthetic sack with a poorly printed design. I now have to pay for it to be returned to China by tracked postage before they will even give me a refund.

AVOID at all costs. This is a scam clothing company. The dresses are not ‘cotton/linen blend fabric’ but are made from poor quality polyester with printed patterns - the printing is atrocious. To return the items you have to pay postage to China so I doubt you would ever get any money returned . Be warned !

Avoid at all costs. Ive been completely scammed by this site. Web page seems genuine but the polyester rag i received instead of the silk dress advertised is only fit for the bin.
Not even the same design as it advertised.
So far no way of making contact to get my money back.
