Steer clear of this company!!

This company is a total scam. The heated gilet did not heat up properly - a tiny bit of heat for a very short time. They don't include a heat pack and one has to buy that separately. I emailed to say that the product is no good and they said they would send a replacement free of charge and that I didn't have to return the one I had received. Of course nothing happened. So I wrote again and again and again and eventually I told them I would put a warning on various sites telling people not to purchase their items. They then responded by telling me to send the gilet we have to China and our expense and that once received they would issue a refund!!!!! Keep clear of this company.

Customer service was okay but products are rubbish

Heated gillet - doesnt work
Ordered first one for my mum for Christmas, it arrived and didnt work so I contacted customer services who responded quickly tbh and said i could have a refund or replacement, i went for replacement and again this has arrived and doesnt work, plus i ordered and paid for a one that heats back and front and both i have been sent doesnt.
So i am now going to have to get back onto customer services and request a refund, what a faff !

Never ever deal with black norway

Never ever deal with black norway - it is a scam - a front for a chinese rip off firm. The gilet I ordered took 5 weeks to arrive - it would not fit a child - the sizing policy is a joke. Everything about this company is bad, and they will not refund unless you send it back, pay your own postage, and then they decide whether or not you qualify for a refund. If I could give minus 5 stars I would.

Shocking customer experience & super slow delivery times

Shocking customer experience - unimaginably slow delivery. Order placed on Dec 11th and still not arrived as of today Jan 5th despite 2 email follow ups & assurances I would receive very soon on Dec 19th! Was a birthday gift for my Dad which has long passed & then switched to being a Christmas gift so no longer even useful & if it arrives will need to be returned.

Avoid this company like the plague

Avoid this company like the plague. Ordered a heated gilet that arrived not working properly. In order to get a refund I have been told to pay the return postage - to China. That’s nearly £20 which they won’t refund. I wish it had been obvious that this was a Chinese company because I wouldn’t have ordered it - not the first time I’ve been caught like this. Was offered a replacement but I don’t trust the replacement to work. The original looks cheap and shoddy - I doubt even a working replacement would last.

I got the heated jacket allright but no power pack, I bought one from another supplier but it only heats up a tiny bit of the jacket around the button !

Make up your own mind

I placed an order for a heated gillet and then saw all these bad reviews which was very worrying but I was please 2 weeks later when it arrived. Unfortunately the product had faults meaning it wouldn't heat for more than a few minutes. I contacted customer support via email and was answered very swiftly by Jeannie who organised a replacement at no extra cost which turned up 10 days later and is in perfect working order.

Faulty broken heated gillet - refund or exchange refused

I ordered a heated gillet for £59.95 as a gift for my Dad in September. During the recent cold weather he has tried to use it for the first time and it is faulty. Only 2 10cm square patches heat up and the heat is very low. Black Norway refused to refund or replace the item as we did not realise it was broken with their 14 day return policy. This is a disgrace when they are supplying faulty broken items which are poor in quality. Also, the initial delivery took weeks to arrive even though I was assured by Jeannie it would arrive quickly and on time for my dads birthday - this was an outright lie. Will not use this company again and would urge other shoppers to shop elsewhere.

Avoid company and save your time and money

Avoid. Dodgy company. No email confirmations, no advice on delivery dates and unhelpful customer service from Jeannie who ignores your questions and queries and says 'don't worry! You can return items!'
After reading all issues that people are having with refunds, I doubt that's true.

Con artists! Do not buy. My items arrived, however items were the wrong size. When requested for a refund or exchange they agreed to send the correct size. That was almost two months ago! various emails sent to chase the items , but seems they block your email address! don't waste your money!

Doesn't work, no refund received after 2 months.

Doesn't work! On the 25th September 2022 I ordered one men's and one women's 9 zone heated vest at £49.95 each. I thought with the cold weather approaching they would be a great way of reducing energy bills. They duly arrived but without any operating instructions whatsoever. The women's one did not work at all, the men's one did work but only when plugged into a USB extension lead. On e-mailing the Company I got a reply saying you need to have a power pack with it (supplied separately). This is not made clear in the product information, and I'm still not clear about what power pack I need and how much it would cost, although they appear to be quite expensive. I then returned the women's one and asked for a refund. I was promised by "Jeannie" who answered my e-mails that I would receive a refund on receipt of a scanned copy of proof of posting. I received confirmation of delivery of the vest and duly e-mailed the receipt to Jeannie. Despite having chased her and threatened to write a bad review, I still have not received the refund 2 months later. I wrote a review on their website but that has not been posted - only 5 star reviews are posted on the website. Do not buy this product, it is a con, they have had ample time to process my refund. Also the sizes are rather tight.

THIS COMPANY IS DEFINITELY RUN BY CROOKS OR IS A SCAM. Whatever you do, do not purchase from them. I ordered a heated jacket which arrived and did not work (and was very poor quality anyway). I have contacted them on numerous occasions by email since 13 September 2022 asking for a refund. I received a response from Jeannie who is clearly part of the scam and repeatedly tells me they will send a replacement and ignores my requests for a refund. I have contacted them 5 times and received no refund and no replacement. If I could rate them as 0/5 I would.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. I ordered an item for a Christmas present for a family member & would have been embarrassed to give it to them. It was not the size ordered. The top seemed fine but the bottoms would only fit a child. The quality of the material is very poor with loose cottons. I have emailed the company twice but have not had a response.

Scammers

Ordered a heated gillet over a month ago which isn’t working. Contacted them several times, each time via their contact form as they don’t reply to their emails. No phone number. Refuse to issue a refund asking for photographic evidence of the faulty item. I have supplied them with that and no joy. Utterly ridiculous - reporting to trading standards for scams and fraudulent trading ripping people off. Stay away from this “company”.

Be very careful

Do not order from this website. False and wildly inaccurate delivery times stated when placing the order. The product arrived after about 4 weeks, worked for 2 uses then stopped working completely.
“Jeannie” in customer support is declining to issue a refund, despite me having a faulty product.

Do not buy from this company if you can…

Do not buy from this company if you can help it! There are so many reliable options out there. Not only do they take over two weeks to deliver they take zero care nor responsibility towards their customers! I placed an order which after waiting for weeks said its been delivered but I never received it. According to them was delivered to an obscure location near the house! So claimed its not their problem! So I paid for an item I never received cos they had delivered to a rubbish bin or obscure place. And they refuse to refund it! Cheaper options were available on other sites but I chose them cos it felt premium. I would ask anyone who care where they shop from to avoid this Company at all cost.
