If you are buying a Blackstar Amp then be ware that the footswitch that is supplied is likely to be faulty. Mine packed up after a few weeks and six months later Blackstar have still not responded to the supplier's request for a replacement under warranty.

If you had ever worked for this company you would know how corrupt they are. The majority of the staff are an absolute disgrace. How they are still in business astounds me.

The best thing for me about Blackstar is the customer service! I never get put onto some out post in Poland - for instance - to talk to some one who I don't understand and who doesn't understand me!

Their response is immediate and helpful. You can waste a lot of time with other merchants going round in circles - which in real terms costs a lot of money - especially for small businesses.

Blackstar made the process of switching very easy from start to finish, Elena was very helpful and quick to answer any questions I had and saved me a lot of money so I highly recommend you give them a go, 10/10.

Blackstar have been excellent to work with. The service provided by Peter Kay and Elena Barton has been fantastic both in terms of communication and the quality of the terminal provided. They have also saved us money by giving us a better deal than our previous card machine provider and also have helped us identify that we were been wrongly charged additional charges which we are now in process of receiving a refund for. Without them, this would not have been achieved. Thank you!

Brilliant service dealt with a lady called elena for my chip shop fish king in Rotherham . I would just like to say Elenas service was so fast and efficient and the terminal is brilliant . I would recommend anyone for this service .

Thank you to Elena and Peter for giving us an easier life since we changed to BlackStar card payments! It’s so quick and easy to use even the customers were surprised the transactions had gone through immediately! We are in Sheffield so no distance is too far for them to come see their customers. BlackStar’s price is very reasonable and lower than other companies we had in the past, I would totally recommend them to any company who want a reliable service with card payments.

Fantastic service, since we moved over to Blackstar we have made some incredible savings, from start to finish Elena was amazing. Moving over is so simple and getting paid within 24hrs is a life saver. 100% recommend Blackstar and Elena.

A very frustrating experience with Blackstar, started a contract in 2014 for 5 years- very expensive rates, had a review in 2016 to ‘lower credit card charges and make us PCI compliant’ - attempt to cancel contract this year realising we are now out of contract to be told we signed a new contract of 5 years at the review - there was no mention that we would be entering into a new 5 year contract at the review and we never received a copy of the ‘new contract’. I have had to pay them £645.19 to come out of a contract I don’t believe I was even in, to cover :- restocking fees, liquidation damages and rent arrears, they did reduce this down from £860.25 after hearing my complaint, however the threat of Court is too stressful in already very challenging times.
Despite having to pay them out, I will actually be saving money in the long run as my new provider is much cheaper.
