Avoid Blike - Charged to return broken equipment

Blike is a scam. I'd strongly recommend avoiding Blike at all costs, they are an utterly awful company. From the start, it took 6 weeks for my bike (Volt Pulse LS) to be delivered. This was due to a range of issues including ‘not having the bike in stock’, and ‘not having delivery boxes’. Not a good start. I got a second hand bike I was told would be fully serviced before hand. When it arrived, it was incredibly evident that this wasn't the case. The mudguard was broken, the brakes were unsafe and awful and the bike generally felt like it was on its last legs. After a day or so riding it, the battery felt like it was strongly deteriorating. Eventually, battery life was extremely limited (maybe 10 miles) and the power assistance was minimal. It was awful. I contacted Blike and not only were they insulting and patronising in their response, they advised me to contact a local bike shop. I tried this twice yet I didn't hear anything back on both occasions. Blike didn't attempt to contact the bike shop themselves. I'm not at a point where the bike doesn't even turn on anymore, I've told blike I've had enough and to cancel the subscription. This was 12 days ago. I've not heard anything back. This company is awful, vile and utterly disgusting. I'd rather walk. Update: they now want to charge me £104 (ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR POUNDS) for the pleasure of returning my broken bike. How is this acceptable?

Blike Membership has been a gamechanger!

Blike Membership has been a gamechanger!
I cycle to work from Essex into London, and whilst I have done this on a non-electric bike, the benefit of riding electric has been the added assurance that however my legs are feeling I can commute at a consistent time. Plus the integrated lights give me one less thing to worry about.

I found Blike via the Membership Benefits page of London Cycling Campaign, and was incredibly happy with the service I received and the quality of the bike I am riding. The setup meeting/collection was seamless, and the welcome tote bag was a really nice touch. Having the freedom to swap bikes after 3 months as well is a nice element of the Blike subscription model.

Overall, having the insurance, servicing and the accessories rolled into once payment has really simplified my cycle to work set-up. I couldn't recommend Blike more highly.

Brilliant, but some improvements..

Though my initial queries via the website went unanswered for longer than I had hoped, they were very responsive answering the phone and all queries I had which led to me placing an order.

On delivery day I was updated every step of the way, though prior to that I had very little updates for almost a week and for this I have dropped a star. Everything else, perfect.

Really disappointed with the customer…

Really disappointed with the customer service while I try to source parts to maintain a bike they no longer sell at my own expense. They have either fobbed me off completely or treated me like a nuisance idiot after spending close to 3K on my bike.

Blike made everything so easy

Blike made everything so easy! I swapped my Raleigh Stride 2 for a new Cube 750 Family Trike with no hassle at all. The team were friendly, quick to help, and the whole process was smooth. Leasing through Blike is super affordable — insurance, locks, and maintenance are all included. Highly recommend!

Outstanding service

I saw a bike I was interested in but due to a missed update it was not available. Rebecca went out of her way to find similar bikes which I could get quickly and offered different solutions.
Once I chose a bike, it was ordered, accessories added and shipped really quickly.

Look no further

First class company from the day I began to lease the bike to the day I bought it .. no problem or question was ever too small or too big for the guys to respond to .. you may get cheaper elsewhere but the service they provide wirh the bike is priceless . . Thoroughly recommend.

A friendly team that know their stuff

A friendly team that know their stuff. We wanted bikes and spare batteries for a 400 mile ride. They organised the bikes batteries and locks and explained what was expected of us and how they would and did look after us including servicing. Costs were clear and fair.

I couldn’t be happier with my new…

I couldn’t be happier with my new Estarli Cargo Longtail from Blike. The short wait of a few weeks was absolutely worth it—my brand-new bike arrived right at my doorstep, perfectly assembled and ready to ride.
With two young children to drive around London, Estarli has transformed our daily logistics. Thanks to Blike’s subscription model, I finally got to experience a cargo e-bike without the hefty upfront cost—and it’s a total game-changer.
Blike customer service is amazing. They respond quickly, resolve any issue with genuine care, and are simply great people to deal with.
If you live in London and have two kids, I don’t think you’ll find a better offer. Highly recommended!

Don't bother with this company

Don't bother with this company.

I've returned them all sets of keys for the ebike that eventually has been stolen They have received it and send me an email that they don't have it or don't have all ! Luckily I made a photo of this situation as handing in those keys.

Extremely unprofessional, horrible, something I've never met.

Anyway those that work there should be swaped with other staff. Only two chaps were nice and cool.

Horrible. They will apologise to me with the big A.
