Quality is average at best. Items missing from some of the packages - nothing major, just plugs for the screws - included in some, not in others. Ends of venetian blinds damaged. Sizes are small and not in accordance with video that shows the measurement to take and submit. Overall, a bit disappointed to what I was expecting for the expense and not particularly good value for money. Venetian blinds flimsy and about the thinnest you could possibly get away with - both the supposed "wood" and the metal header tracks. Vertical blinds are better. Actual blinds good quality but header track is flimsy. Actually left in place header track from previous blinds as much better quality and heavier duty.
Excellent product!
Given that you specialise in blinds, I find the release and catch mechanism disappointingly ineffective and really frustrating. The excellent wooden slats, perfect colour finish and reasonably solid frame assembly is let down by the catch mechanism. It is impossible to raise the blinds and have them catch at any raised point without making several attempts to do so. The weight of the (quality) blind makes it drop before the catch engages or partly engage leaving the blind at an angle. For just an extra £1 or so, you could buy a much better quality catch or design one with (perhaps) a small lever that you slide across that properly engages the catch before you let go of the raising strings. At £450 for 4 blinds they are neither expensive nor cheap - but with a better catch mechanism they would certainly be almost impossible to beat! Best regards, Mark Jones
