Got the blinds and the mounting…

Got the blinds and the mounting hardware was useless so I had the get small wall anchors and shorter screws because the hardware was inadequate. After finally getting them installed the blinds would only close only one way and not very well at that. Don't waste your time, total junk. In the trash they go. The rep replied I could buy more expensive blinds if I wanted. Yeah right. Terrible way to up sale by selling junk in the first place,

I recently inherited and renovated my childhood two-family home. With lots of windows, including very large picture windows, I wanted to provide quality coverings for my tenants. Too often, tenants skimp on window treatments, but I wanted both the inside and outside of the home to look polished and cared for. Because this is the home I grew up in, there’s a lot of emotion tied to making it beautiful again. At the same time, I was mindful of cost.

After hours of comparisons online, I chose Blindsgalore—and here’s why:

Easy-to-use website: I’m not a professional, and I needed blinds in all different styles, inside mounts, outside mounts, and oversized windows. Their website made navigating options simple and stress-free.

Unbeatable prices: I still can’t believe what I paid compared to retail stores and other sites.

Wonderful customer service! Wonderful quality!

I used Blindsgalore in my previous residence with automated roller shades. This time around, I had very narrow windows and elected to do the manual roller shades. Both experiences were fantastic. Their customer service is great and they continued to assist me for the over 5 years that I owned the previous shades. I have no doubt that this experience will be the same.

Ordering process was easy and delivery…

Ordering process was easy and delivery communication good. Blinds installation simple to follow and fit good.
One issue is the blind tilt wand length. Three of our blinds had total height of 23”. The tilt wand is longer and extends beyond the window sill not lying flat. It would be nice to have the tilt wand customizable to not be longer than the the actual blinds.

IMPRESSIVE service and blinds

IMPRESSIVE service and blinds. I've used Blindsgalore for years, and have referred them to many friends. Was most impressed when a cellular shade had a problem after three years and you replaced it at no cost immediately.

Don't Even Consider This Place

The install instructions and video on their site no longer apply. You are supposed to stick screws through the header piece and screw them into the top of the window. The holes through that piece were so far out of alignment that I fought to get them through. That put the screws at a hellacious angle instead of them going straight up and through. The entire system, especially the lifting mechanism, is garbage! I wouldn't mind of I bought cheap shades and ran into problem, but 3 of these cost me $702. They are in San Diego and the box came with the ends all mangled up. Looking at the stickers on the box, I found one that said the product was made in Mexico. So, did Customs mangle the box? The instructions were dangling out of one end. The only thing that is OK on this order is the color. After that, they're junk.

Good experience for a new customer

I ordered 3 mini blinds for windows that were all 69 inches wide. I gave the measurement by subtracting 1/8 inch as instructed. The blinds fit all windows perfectly, were easy to install and work well with raising and lowering. The company kept me up to date in regard to my order and also sent an email regarding installation, which I appreciated. If you’re looking for the paper instructions, ours were inside the hollow area in the top back part of the blinds. It took about 6 days from ordering to shipping date. The blinds look very nice! I’m happy with my purchase and glad I chose Blindsgalore.

I've done a fair amount of business through Blinds Galore for our school and my personal use. No problems, I've accidentally ordered the wrong size and they were very helpful in fixing my mistakes. I would recommend doing business with them.
