Today we attended a wonderful, free art exhibition that Blossom Home Education put on for the local community of budding artists. My 9year old daughter LOVED it and it was a joy to see everyone’s fabulous work. Katie had gone to the trouble of giving everyone who exhibited a beautiful certificate and a feedback sheet, so the artists left with further inspiration and encouragement! Katie also gave some insightful feedback to the participants and we will definitely be attending any future art classes she does. Thank you for inspiring our children, Katie!

Katie is an exceptional tutor and has a way of making learning so much fun and accessible. My son absolutely loves his sessions with Katie because she makes every session different, engaging and full of interesting methods & techniques which help him to learn.

Blossom's Book Clubs have greatly improved my son's confidence in answering reading comprehension questions and interacting in a webinar environment. He was nervous in the first one last autumn, so I joined in with him, but Katie's calm, friendly, encouraging manner soon put him at ease and I quickly wasn't needed. The lessons have also greatly improved his reading staminar - after the Harry Potter Book Club finished at the end of May (the day before his 11th birthday!), he carried on with the series and has just finished the fourth book. I definitely recommed Katie!

My daughter has been doing English and Maths lessons with katie for quite a while now and the transformation in her confidence and ability is outstanding.
Katie is an amazing teacher, she is clear with her instructions, so good at explaining and directing the lesson, always makes my daughter feel comfortable and reassures her if she needs it.

I love that they are live online but without seeing other people and only the tutor and that if you miss a lesson or want to go over a lesson again they are recorded. I also really like the optional home work and constructive feedback that is offered at no extra cost. The cost is also very good too to start with. Very happy and a great service!! Katie and the Blossom Home Education team are fantastic. We started using the weekly webinar sessions in September and haven’t looked back since! They go the extra mile and are always on hand if you need extra support which as a parent takes some of the worry and pressure off. I highly recommend them.

My daughter has been learning with Suzanne at Blossom Home Education for 6 weeks now (and we will be continuing for another 6!) Suzanne is a brilliant teacher who injects SO much enthusiasm in to her lessons. My reluctant writer has been transformed in to a child who will now very willingly put pen to paper and looks forward to her classes each week.

We have worked with both Katie and Suzanne. We are currently enrolled to Suzanne’s year 1 maths and storytelling classes and she does a wonderful job. The classes are animated, interesting and fun and she’s a wonderful teacher to them all. I would definitely recommend them

Katie arrives for every session with a beaming smile that engages from the off. She quickly familiarised herself with my children, knowing how to engage each differently and personalising their learning to them. During lockdown she even brought a cat into the zoom session for my pet loving daughter to describe.

Katie is fantastic. She is full of life in her lessons meaning she keeps the attention of children. Her lessons are at a great pace for the children to keep up and she has a fantastic way of explaining things so that the children remember what extended noun phrases are for example. Overall for me her encouragement has been the most effective tool in aiding my sons new passion for writing, she is so sincere in her feedback to the children about their answers and that has really helped my sons confidence more than anything. Before I found Katie (only a mere 4 weeks ago) my son (11) would moan and not put any effort into any form if written work, even the suggestion of comics with speech bubbles so limited writing was considered hard and was a battle to get him to do... today, from homework katie set (which she stresses is optional) my son wrote a full story of which he was so excited and enthusiastic about I was absolutely thrilled. He said "I might even be an author now this is really fun" That's all thanks to Katie. I highly recommend her and will definitely continue to do lessons with her once our course finishes. Thank you Katie, you are utterly brilliant.

Being new to Home Educating, I was desperately eager to find a suitable online tutor. We are very happy to have found Katie. My son loves the weekly online classes and does both Maths & English. Katie is very encouraging and is very helpful outside of the Zoom lesson too. Love the app used for the work set and how we get it back to you, so easy and simple. We look forward to continuing for the rest of the year..
