Absolute scam. They lure you in with a very cheap ~$1 dollar charge for your test results, but bake in a very hidden $30/month subscription fee which is confusing and hard to cancel.

Advertises itself as a “free quiz”, however after you spend time completing the questions, only then are you told you have to pay to access the results. The company says the quiz itself is free to take, which is technically true, but I personally find this to be misleading. You would expect a free quiz to give you free results. I understand that the idea is to lead people in with a “free” quiz, get them to spend time and effort completing the questions, then convince them to pay so they can access their full results instead of having just wasted their time, however I think it would be more honest and less frustrating for customers to be upfront at the start about the fact this is a paid service/subscription. Additionally, others’ experiences with this site suggest that you are lured in with an initial small charge to access your test results, then signed up to a much more expensive recurring subscription which is difficult to cancel, without the site making this clear initially.
I can’t comment on the test results or any paid services provided by the site since I didn’t pay/sign up, maybe they are detailed and worth the money, I don’t know. It’s not entirely clear what other services are provided, aside from the test results, in exchange for the ongoing monthly subscription though. But I do feel that it is deceptive to advertise a quiz as free, only reveal that you must pay to access results after people have invested time and effort into a “free” quiz, and then not make it obvious that a small initial payment is actually signing up to a recurring subscription. It seems like an attempt to lure people into paying for a subscription without realising.

I get an ad to take a one dollar political test. I thought yeah OK I can do that. I specifically click the box on the website that said I only want my one dollar test results and I do not want a subscription. And now three months later multiple emails and attempts to cancel and they've now taken $90 of my money and I still can't cancel my subscription. I thought I did it two times already. They don't have a real customer service hotline only a robot on the phone. And I've left them multiple emails to try to get in contact and there's nothing I can do. I don't think I've ever been this upset with a company on the Internet. If I were you, I would not give this company any of your money.

Horrible experience, customer service, and completely deceptive. My poor teenage daughter was trying a career test in preparing for her future and thought she was signing up for the results alone, and instead it was a monthly subscription. When trying to cancel it, it is saying her email address is not associated with an account, but they keep charging her. We even ordered a new debit card- and they somehow still charged her. And do not even try with their customer service. Their "24/7 chat" feature is always offline and they do not respond to emails. How are they still in business?

THIS IS A SCAM. Don't sign up. They'll keep charging you and you'll never be able to cancel. Trust me. All the reviews are fake. They loop you into a subscription without the ability to ever cancel and take your payments.

Scam. Signed up to report for small fee and automatically enrolled in a subscription. Unable to cancel on app as it takes you to a pop quiz screen you can't go beyond. Tried customer service chat which takes you to same screen. Called customer service which will charge you for a link to same thing. Not yet cancelled. AVOID

It was fun to do, just don’t forget to cancel your subscription before you navigate away from site and forget all about it until you discover a random charge for $30.

Reply from Blossomup
The tests are good. But wanting to cancel your subscription takes you saying "I want to cancel" like 10 times. Why bother? I want to say "Yes I want to cancel" and the maybe one "Are you sure".

I haven't subscribed to anything but there is a pending transaction on my bank account.
I have tried to 'cancel' the subscription I didn't sign up to but cannot get passed the verification screen. My bank has been notified of this fraudulent transaction
Beware!!!!

Absolute con! The button on the website to cancel subscription doesn't work so you can't cancel and they're charging me £24 that I never agreed to!!

Unclear terms, takes your data, offers nothing in return unless you pay even if you have already paid with your time. Also this: "By clicking Get My Full Political Report above you agree to be charged £1.95 (which includes your complete Political Report, an additional quiz and report, and access to a 28-day Personal Growth Challenge). You also agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. After 7-days you will be billed £24.95 every 4 weeks until your subscription ends. Cancel anytime."

First of all the quiz that I looked up and clicked to take was labeled as was for a color-coded personality test. The results were supposed to be your colors. The results ended up being enfp type quiz. Second of all it said it was free when I spent 20 minutes taking the quiz it made me pay for the results for a dollar. I thought OK fine a dollar I went through all this trouble taking the quiz. I just wanna know what color I am. Neither of those things are true. Did not get my color and it was not just a dollar. It was two dollars upfront even though advertises one dollar. And it signed me up for a $30 monthly subscription without telling me. And it took me about an hour to try to cancel the subscription because you can only do it with an account and I don’t have an account because I didn’t sign up for a membership. SCAM WEBSITE

Blossomups process is malicious and frustrating. They make it appear that you’re buying a self assessment for a few dollars and then without mentioning it anywhere (besides the tiny fine print in the terms and conditions) they automatically enroll you in a $30 subscription. It was a headache to cancel and their model is clearly built on tricking people into subscriptions hoping they won’t notice the recurring charge. Major scam.

They signed me up for a subscription using my Google email on my phone, which isn't my normal email. I saw a charge for almost $30 and tried to log in, and had to create a password to go in and cancel a subscription I never signed up for. I realized it was my Google email after trying to log in only for it to not recognize my normal email. This place is shady. Do not fall for their $1.95. I now have to dispute a transaction that I never authorized. How this place exists and gets away with this is beyond me. You should feel ashamed of yourselves

I would strongly caution anyone considering using this company to inform themselves fully.
I made what I believed to be a one-off purchase for a report via instagram, however I later discovered that I had been signed up to a recurring subscription without my clear knowledge or consent. At no point during the purchase process was it made sufficiently clear that I was entering into an ongoing payment arrangement. If it had been, I would not have proceeded.
This lack of transparency is extremely concerning. Consumers should be given clear, upfront information about any recurring charges before completing a transaction. In my experience, that simply did not happen here.
I have since had to take steps to cancel the subscription and pursue a refund, which has been both time-consuming and frustrating.
I would urge others to review the terms very carefully before purchasing, as what appears to be a one-off transaction may result in ongoing charges. For the sort of content they are promoting it feels really rather unethical.
For me this experience raises serious concerns around transparency and whether the purchase process meets expected UK consumer protection standards.

This is a "soft scam".
They reel you in with a "test" that measures something you're mildly curious about. You take the questionnaire and get zero results unless you pay $1.95 now and $29.99 every four weeks until your subscription ends with zero ways to actually cancel.
By the way, every 4 weeks is clever, there are 13 4-week payments in a year rather the the usual 12 monthly payments.
Checked them out online after taking the quiz and before giving them anything.
A "soft scam" is still a scam.

I like the quizzes this website has, but I'm probably gonna cancel the subscription soon. 🤷🏻♀️

WARNING — DO NOT USE BLOSSOMUP - a SCAM!!!
They advertise a report for $2, but then automatically sign you up to a recurring subscription and start charging you around $30+ per month unless you cancel. The way this is presented is misleading and deceptive, and many other users online report the exact same issue.
I believed I was making a one time purchase, not agreeing to ongoing recurring billing. Be very careful before entering your card details.

This is a scam. Long tests with no cost warning beforehand. Once you’ve spent 1-2h doing the test you feel obliged to pay the fee or you don’t get your results. Furthermore, it is not made clear to customers that by paying the initial fee you are agreeing to a monthly subscription of £24.95. It wasn’t until 6 payments had gone out of my account that I realised this. Trying to cancel the subscription was also difficult and in the end I had to contact my bank to block any further payments. In all fairness, once BlossomUp got back to me they said they would refund my payments. This has not happened yet but I hope they keep their word. They did, however, blame it all on me and took no accountability for not making the fact that I was agreeing to a monthly subscription clear, even though thousands of customers have had the same experience I have.
Overall, a very stressful experience. Stay well away from this company.

Total scam and bait and switch. impossible to cancel and then they hit you with a $29 monthly fee. for nothing. no customer support
This was for my son. He was charged $1.95 then every 30 +/- days later he has been charged $29.95. He had tried to cancel with his two different email addresses through the company’s website. Neither worked. He has never revived any emails or services other than something initially on line.
I’ve been trying to get the charges blocked through our credit card.
Blossumup has submitted the below "response" and they are unable to locate the account, yet they are still billing my son's credit card every month with no apparent way to cancel the recurring charges. Be aware!
