Scam! Beware!
Fun quiz to reel you in. Then it starts. Payment is needed to proceed and it comes with a 30$ monthly subscription unless you immediately cancel it.
They know it's scam and have so much detail on their website to guide you through a refund process. Success with refunds remains to be known though.
To close the account, they request more details than given at sign up. How they use this to verify who you are when they never had that information before is beyond me.
Reported to econsumer agency in the states.

Dodgy unexpected subscription charge and not as simple as it should be to cancel. Two small payments went out so keeping a very close eye on my account for the next 4-6 weeks. Not happy!

I had some problems, because I forgot to cancel my abonement. They gave me all my money back after about 5 houres, great service.

This is a subscription scam you cannot cancel

Enjoyed the quiz and the results but make sure to cancel subscription or you will be charged after 7 days!

Total scam. I even tried to cancel the subscription twice, but apparently you have to confirm in your email that you want to cancel the subscription you didn’t ask for. So now I have paid 60 for something I didn’t want.

Honestly I was a bit sceptical in paying for my iq test but my experience turned out to be great.
Ps ....
If you dont want to be charged 29,99 euros on your card after testing out the website for about 7 days. Remember to cancel any future payments made to your bank card.

It was smooth until this survey that I thought was going to be short! Ask me before you divert, communication was on point right up until then and you've really thrown me off! It was seamless, validating, confident, insightful, and an overall delightful experience. Maybe let me set my own password first so I'm more likely to come back. I just took a picture so I can do it later, and now you've forced my hand. Not subscribing? I hope it's easy to cancel, but lowkey if you have licensed therapists, I'm probably here for it. I hear the love languages are pseudoscience, but they provide useful vocabulary to have hard conversations and I can appreciate that. So I'll probably check stuff out. Affordable payment. Great questions.

Terrible. No mention of fees until the end. Hoops to jump through to cancel. Bad bad bad.

Total scam.
You pay 1$ for something you'll never have, it's gonna be a subscription that's gonna cost you over 50$ a month right at week 1, the unsubscribe options (chat, phone, mails, etc.) won't work so they make sure you will pay the 50$ and the only way to get out is to cancel your credit card and get a new one.

Appalling I had no idea that I was then expected to pay more than £20.annually. Then I couldn't cancel. Absolutely disgraceful con.
I had no idea I was entering into a subscription and I then was not able to get out of it as I was never sent a code to do so. Extremely mmisleading and underhand.

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL BEFORE GIVING THIS COMPANY YOUR PAYMENT INFORMATION.
I paid approximately $1 through Apple Pay for what I understood to be a one-time test. I then discovered that I had been charged for a subscription that I did not knowingly intend to sign up for.
What made this experience even worse was trying to CANCEL. I could not find a functional, straightforward way to cancel the subscription, and I ended up having to contact my bank because attempted charges were causing problems with my debit card.
I should not have to call my bank, revoke payment authorization, send cancellation emails, and consider replacing my debit card just to make sure a company stops charging me.
Whether this was buried in terms somewhere or not, the experience felt incredibly deceptive to me. A recurring subscription should be made unmistakably clear before someone authorizes payment, and cancelling it should not feel like an obstacle course.
I have now explicitly revoked authorization for future charges and requested cancellation in writing. I am documenting everything in case I need to dispute additional charges.
I would strongly caution anyone considering BlossomUp to understand exactly what they are agreeing to before entering any payment information. No customer should feel trapped in a subscription or have to go through this much effort just to stop being charged.

I took an online test checking my political profile happily paying €1.95 for the result only to find that in doing so I had unknowingly signed up to a repeat monthly fee. I followed all the steps in the variety of ways to cancel that were published as being availabl, none of which worked. So I emailed only to receive an email referring me back to the guide to how to cancel. It seems that this may be a fraud. Avoid at all costs!

The advert doesn't mention a payment is required for the results, so there's zero point in the lengthy questionnaire if you don't want to pay. Luckily I paid attention to the email barrage that came in when I chose to pay the tiny amount for my results, as I'd been automatically subscribed to a much higher value subscription, which I then cancelled. They make it tricky to cancel, with numerous windows asking you to confirm, with the cancel button moving and changing colour so you have to really concentrate. Despite cancelling my subscription, I'm still getting emails from them that I have to unsubscribe from as well.
All in all, felt like a massive scam.

COMPLETE SCAM!!! CHARGING A HIDDEN SUBSCRIPTION OF $30 FOR A $1 TEST. CANT GET INTO CONTACT WITH AN ACTUAL PERSON TO CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION, CAN ONLY EMAIL OR CALL THE AI BOTS AND SOMEHOW THEIR 24/7 CHAT TO HELP IS ALWAYS “OFFLINE”. SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY AND ITS RIDICULOUS

The website only shows positive reviews. There was a 15 minute time limit to see my results. When i waited the 15 minutes it wouldn't let me see them. Then the timer reset. There is a payed option, that is not mentioned anywhere prior to taking the quiz. So i just pay the 2 dollars because the timer doesn't continue when i tab out and i didn't want to wait half an hour. Then i find out i for some reason have joined some kind of subsrciption that i never agreed to that i cancel immediately. The results make no sense. I did a political test. I voted left-wing on all economic policies but for some reason it put me on the economic right. They did not explain anywhere why they put me there and ecomonic issues are not mentioned anywhere in the results despite being a major part of the test.
Scam and waste of money. Borderline illegal due to the subsription issue.

Misleading subscription flow and extremely shallow political “report”
I took BlossomUp's political quiz out of curiosity. After spending quite a while answering questions, I was offered my supposedly detailed results for $1.95 and decided that was cheap enough to satisfy my curiosity.
What I did not realize when I paid was that the $1.95 purchase also started a 7-day trial that automatically renews at $29.95 every four weeks. I later went back through another BlossomUp quiz specifically to see how the purchase page presents this. The recurring-subscription disclosure does exist, but it appears below the initial $1.95 offer and “Get My Results” button. You have to continue scrolling to encounter it. I had believed I was simply buying a $1.95 report.
The report itself made the purchase even more disappointing. BlossomUp advertises detailed, personalized insights, but what I received from the political quiz felt more like the result of a BuzzFeed or teen-magazine personality quiz than meaningful analysis of all the questions I had answered. It assigned me a broad political classification that was strikingly inconsistent with many of my responses and provided little substantive explanation of how those answers produced the result. For something presented as a detailed personalized report, there was remarkably little detail.
I went looking for a refund because I was dissatisfied with the report. That's when I discovered I had a subscription to cancel. Despite the purchase page repeatedly saying “Money-Back Guaranteed,” BlossomUp's refund policy says the report fee is non-refundable and that, for customers outside certain jurisdictions, subscription refunds “may be offered at our discretion.”
Cancellation added another unnecessary hurdle: I had to provide my email address, wait for an emailed cancellation link, and the link was valid for only two minutes.
I also recommend checking BlossomUp's Trustpilot profile directly rather than relying on the rating displayed on its sales pages. The page I saw advertised “Excellent 4.2” with 14,182 reviews; when I checked Trustpilot itself, BlossomUp had a 4.0 TrustScore with 19,615 reviews.
My biggest issue isn't that BlossomUp charges for its reports or offers a subscription. It's the presentation. The $1.95 price, “Money-Back Guaranteed” language, and purchase button are much more prominent than the recurring $29.95-every-four-weeks commitment. Combined with the extremely superficial report I received, I would not purchase from them again.
This is just such a weird, scummy money grab. The 5 star reviews here are also super weird and seem to be made, by invitees, to try to outweigh the more real sounding reviews of 1 Star.

The testing part was interesting. However it said free at the beginning, then wouldn't give me the score until I paid. Also, it signs you up for a subscription that you have to remember to cancel, because I didn't come in believing I was gettinhninto a long term thing...
