This company is a scam. I bought a £1 personality test a few months ago and it has been regularly charging me payments ever since, totalling more than £100. I can't cancel as I didn't sign up for a subscription and therefore don't have an account and password.
UPDATE: Having been contacted directly by Blossom Up, I have now been able to cancel the unwanted subscription and have been promised refunds for additional charges to date. As a result, I think the company isn't a scam and I'm sure they do have customers who value their services. However, I do think they operate unfair sharp marketing practices. Buyer beware!

I was having difficulty trying to cancel the subscription before being charged $30 month. The app seems promising but not happy with difficulty cancellation and being forced to leave a review. Update: I emailed them and they quickly fixed the issue. The site seems like it contains a lot of helpful info. I haven’t used it enough to leave a thorough review

The way they sell the initial service is basically a trick to then bill you $50 before you realise there’s something to cancel. Avoid is basically a scam

Surprise fee. Confusing website that hides log in and cancelation instructions. 100% it's a scam.
Hard disagree with everything they replied. I made sure I didn't click any boxes that mentioned trials. The trial they are talking about apparently you cannot refuse. Even on the website it's so hidden how to cancel they have to send you cancellation instructions that time out. When I finally figured out how to cancel I had at least 5 prompts of additional offers I had to click through before it was cancelled.

They invite you to take a survey and get results. They say it's a 5-minute survey and make no mention of cost. They survey actually took 15-20 minutes, and at completion they notify you that it will cost $1.95 to get your results. Very deceptive! I went ahead and paid because I was frustrated that I wasted 20 minutes--this is exactly what they want you to do. It also subscribes you to an ongoing plan that is, I think, $19.95 per month, starting after 7 days. So after I got my report I had to cancel the subscription. They make you say "no thanks" to about 10 different offers during the cancellation process. Then I tried to have my account completely deleted, but they won't do that unless you provide them your driver's license and a utility bill--supposedly for verification purposes, but I'm sure it's so that they can keep your data as I've never had a company require this for account deletion.

THIS IS FRAUD! VERY deceptive Scheme auto renewing; while the test performed for £1.95 is excellent, I unwittingly signed up to auto renewal for £24 monthly beginning immediately . I tried to cancel this but got barraged by a phony quiz page ; DONT SIGN ONTO THIS SCAM

I was charged twice for a subscription I never agreed to. I only intended to pay for a one-time test result. To make matters worse, the cancellation email was hidden in my spam folder, and the website's cancellation function didn't work initially.
Even though I have finally managed to cancel now, I am still seeing pending charges. I have already contacted support and filled out their refund form, but I am still waiting for my money back.
BlossomUp: I demand a full refund for all unauthorized charges immediately. If this is not resolved within 24 hours, I will finalize the chargeback through my bank and report this as a fraudulent business practice to the German Consumer Protection Agency.

This is some ridiculous scam that I never signed up for, and am being charged for, then when I use their pretended cancel link, it tells me I don't have an account... which is true, in that I never signed up for any such nonsense... so why/how am I being charged??

Reply from Blossomup
They deceive you with some sort of survey or test, and if you purchase the results for a small fee, you are automatically subscribed at $29.95 a month. Very deceptive practice. Then they request more information from TrustPilot (in order to “resolve” the issue), which was resolved the moment I figured out how to cancel. It requires time to follow back up, most likely they are hoping you don’t follow thru so that your review may be taken down. Again, very deceptive practice, and their surveys are a joke. $29 a month? YouTube and ChatGPT are only $20, and they actually provide value for the money!

I signed up for the one off IQ test which was interesting and I didn’t mind paying the small fee for, But beware you cannot cancel I have tried three times and no email to confirm that they promised. So now I’m left unable to Cancel the subscription. Scam avoid at all costs

Total scam. Did the political compass test and right at the end it asked for £1.95 to see the results, I paid it as a lot of thought and consideration had gone into my answers and I wanted to know the results. What I didn’t realise was in paying the £1.95 I had then subscribed to blossom up. I did have my suspicions and checked my phone subscriptions and it didn’t show there, however, 7 days later a further £24.95 had come off my bank account. I have now managed to cancel the subscription but please beware, this was not at all obvious that I had signed up to a subscription and I feel to be very fraudulent.
*Edit I contacted blossom up asking for a refund and they were very quick to refund the subscription fee which I very much appreciate so I have added a star to my review

Scam! They signed me up for a monthly subscription without my consent. When I tried to cancel, they demanded my full card details and a membership number (which I don’t have as I never signed up)—just to contact support. I can’t even log in as I never created an account with them. The system seems designed to trick you and make it impossible to cancel. Fortunately, I’ve blocked them through my bank, but beware—do not trust this service.

They keep taking 25 pound out my bank, and its very hard to cancel!!!

This is a scam service. You buy a cheap single survey then they continually take funds from you account for a subscription that you didn’t sign for and you can’t cancel . DO NOT USE

*Poor quality tests / feedback (seems AI generated, not professional).
*Hard to cancel subscription (I had to answer about 5 questions with “no,” which were supposed to keep me from going ahead).
*Deleting account requires government-issued photo ID + proof of address (e.g., a utility bill or bank statement issued within the last 3 months) even though none of this personal information was included in my profile in the first place (how are they supposed to identify me that way?

My daughter done a test and signed up for the £1.95 trial and the £24.95 7 days later rolling on every 4 weeks. She immediately went in to cancel and a link was sent but as she tried to hit the button to cancel it seems to be frozen … We have tried emailing company and trying to cancel but CANT get anywhere … I feel she has been scammed

Reply from Blossomup
Site takes a small payment, hides itself from apple subscriptions so it's very hard to cancel and then takes money from you ~£25.
You have to then go through trying to cancel on the app, repeated blockers trying to get you to stay, 1 month free, pause membership etc. Poor UX and awful customer experience.
Don't bother, honestly they make this as hard as they can to try and get you to stay. Also, the subscription fee is insanely high on a per month basis.
Note that the majority of positive reviews are 1-2 lines (could be from incentivised people). Look at the lower review where people are being scammed out of money via tricky subscription methods. As soon as negatives come in they balance up with positives, feels dodgy.

Did a test and paid a couple of dollars to view the results. Unknowingly got signed up to a $45AUD per month sub without consent! Went back through emails and found this info right at the very, very bottom of the purchase confirmation (for the report) receipt email. This was never made clear on the website at the time of purchasing the report. Total lack of transparency. I’m a single mum struggling to put food on the table and it was a RUDE SHOCK to see the debit come out of my already skinny bank balance today. Sham of a company relying on subscriptions by omission - where people don’t realise they’ve signed up and don’t cancel the ‘free trial’ in time to avoid subscribing. Instead they should make the subscriptions transparent and clear so that people knowingly CONSENT at point of sale. DO BETTER.

Update: heard from a cs rep Faye who did reverse the nearly $30 charge. I appreciate her help. It was very frustrating to try to cancel something with no phone number, no address, etc. And I disapprove of their practice of giving you a MONTHLY subscription when you pay for a one time test and it is not clear, not easy to cancel. Since when it is good business practice to force this on so many--we GIVE you a subscription and it's up to the customer to find the way to cancel? Who is even looking for a subscription until one is charged? I feel bad for anyone who had this happen with a debit card or cashapp or paypal. I paid with a credit card, and the credit card has agreed to help me if I get charged any more.
Customer service rep said I spelled my own email incorrectly and that is why they could not contact me. If that is true, their email to me would have been bounced back, right to them and they would have know I never received a receipt or notice of a subscription.
I personally feel this type of subscription practice should not be allowed at all. It puts the work on the unsuspecting customer.
They lost a customer for life with me.
I paid for and took one of their online tests for $1.95 on 1-289-26. No results every received and then, all of a sudden they have signed me up for nearly $30 bucks a month subscription, without my consent or authority. I have reported BlossomUp and bloominto to trust pilot and the BBB and my bank. I never agreed to any subscriptions and only receive the same emails over and over again to check spam folders, or they cannot find my email (although they emailed me several times) or they need a registration number--which I do not have because I never signed up for any subscription. I expect more form replies and will have to deal with this with my credit card and or small claims court. I have sent letters to what address I could find for them. They make it impossible to know how to cancel something I never authorized to begin with.
Also, I could not find a mailing address for either bloominto or blossumup. None.
In addition, notice the "positive" reviews seem to be mostly invited reviews. And the complaints are initiated by customers.
Finally, the suggested ways to cancel a subscription do not work as I never authorized a subscription so have no account number. I tried all their suggestions, but am left now with a charge for a subscription I did not authorize and do not want.
Edited: I just now tried all their suggestions to cancel based on their reply to my review. Again, nothing. I don't have an account number and using the cancel button at the bottom of their webpage didn't do anything. I submitted that way MANY TIMES. I don't have an account number. I never received a receipt. I have tried and tried to cancel a subscription I never authorized but was still charged $29.95. For the $1.95 charge for the "political" test, I did want the report but NEVER received it after checking and checking and checking so asked for a refund. My credit card refunded the $1.95 and will seek these funds from you. The test sounded interesting, but I received nothing for my money but a subscription that appears impossible to cancel. I have a file of emails back and forth to bloominto and blossumup. Check those.

Felt like a bit of a scam, took you through test then charge £1.95 for results which is fine but then when you pay it tells you it’s actually a subscription every month which they then make a number of steps and difficult to cancel. The test results are fairly generic. Despite it being a subscription it still wants £1.95 for every different test on top of the subscription price. Feels a lot of hassle and they should be clearer and more honest about pricing upfront.
