I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Alice and the Blue Motor Finance team for all their help and support over the past two months in resolving the cancellation of my car finance agreement for my Audi A6.
What has been a very stressful and frustrating experience, due to the ongoing faults with the vehicle and the lengthy process of arranging its return and cancelling the finance agreement, was made much easier thanks to the support I received from Alice and the team.
I am particularly grateful for Alice’s time, patience, professionalism and understanding throughout this process. I truly appreciate the effort she has put into helping resolve the issues and keeping things moving forward. Her support has made a real difference during what has been a difficult time.
Thank you to Alice and everyone involved for your hard work, understanding and dedication. It is reassuring to receive such helpful and professional support, and I wanted to make sure this positive feedback was shared in recognition of the effort you have all put in.
Thank you again, Alice, and the entire Blue Motor Finance team. Your help has been genuinely appreciated.

I have to say my experience with Blue motor finance has been excellent, unfortunately there was unforeseen issues with the car that was rejected and sent back to the dealer. Blue motor finance dealt with this is issue quickly and effectively, along with the dealer might I add. Could not have been more professional in the approach and service, thank you

I appreciate the low cost finance due to starting a business but what I don’t appreciate is being sold a vehicle by Trade Center Wales and being shafted from the get go! I had the vehicle on the 01/10/25, I didn’t actually drive it as my possession until 10/12/25 after repeatedly going back and forth the garage. Upon further in estimation I found paper copies of proof that the vehicle did not undertake the “checks before going on the four court. With a legal representative (solicitor) trying to get the vehicle demanded as unsafe for sale this blue motor finance company pig ignorantly denied the action. After all we have learnt that the finance and TCW are a team that want to keep their money and do NOT value their customers as people just numbers lining their pockets! We went through hell and back between these two companies. Then now today the vehicle has broken down even after £1300.00 spent trying to fix it and make it right. Not a very nice company to deal with not good customer services please please help yourselves and do NOT use this company.

Before signing up with this finance company bear in mind they were involved in the mis sold finance scam instead of honouring all the customers who were affected they went into administration in effect shafting the same customers again
Never again! Absolutely appalling experience with Blue Motor Finance.**
Purchased a car on HP 12 months ago, and within two months it needed major engine repairs. Since then, it's been back and forth to garages with repeated faults, spending weeks at a time being repaired.
Blue Motor Finance's complaints process is shocking. Communication is poor, responses are generic, and they seem completely uninterested in the bigger picture. Every time I request to reject the vehicle and end my finance agreement, they allow the garage to attempt another repair, declare it "fixed" and close my complaint. Then the same fault returns!
**UPDATE – 08/10/2026**
Unbelievably, my car is now booked into the garage for the **FIFTH time** with the same recurring DPF/engine management light issue! The first repair took six weeks, with subsequent visits lasting around four weeks each.
I'm paying £257 a month for a vehicle I cannot rely on. Despite the extensive repair history, Blue continues to treat each complaint separately rather than acknowledging the ongoing problems.
I've now had enough and am escalating this to the **Financial Ombudsman Service**.
**Repeatedly repairing the same fault does not mean the issue is resolved!** After 12 months of frustration, I simply want to reject this vehicle and end the agreement.
Without doubt, the worst finance company I've dealt with. I cannot wait to be rid of them.

Title: Service history misrepresented, paperwork contradictory — and goodwill refused
I’m sharing my experience so other customers don’t find themselves in the same position.
I bought a car where the service history was ticked as complete on the official 99-point checklist. When I later sold it, there was no full service history to prove — and I lost £425 as a result.
Dawn Jackson at the Financial Ombudsman actually found the paperwork contradictory — yet Blue Motor Finance had the very same documents and did not see or acknowledge that contradiction. The outcome rested entirely on my signature — even though the paperwork itself was conflicting.
I asked for goodwill twice — once after Blue Motor entered administration, and again later. Both times the answer was no.
My advice to anyone buying a car: read every single piece of paperwork, every line, every box, before you sign. Don’t assume what’s written matches what you’re told — I got caught out, and I hope no one else does.
It’s not the money alone — it’s the feeling that the contradiction was seen by one person but not acted on by those who could have made it right.
Blue Motor Finance has been extremely stressful, frustrating and disappointing, and based on what I have personally gone through, I would strongly advise others to think very carefully before taking finance with this company.
I financed a vehicle through Blue Motor Finance and had possession of it for two days before it broke down. I rejected the vehicle shortly afterwards and did not continue to have use of it. Blue Motor Finance was aware that there was an ongoing dispute regarding the vehicle.
Blue Motor Finance later arranged recovery of the vehicle, and the vehicle was subsequently sold at auction. Despite that, I have continued to be faced with a substantial alleged outstanding balance, arrears and adverse information on my credit file.
I have repeatedly contacted Blue Motor Finance asking for clear explanations regarding the balance, the interest charged, the auction proceeds and the information being reported to the credit reference agencies. Instead of feeling that my concerns have been properly addressed, I have found myself repeatedly having to chase, repeat the same information and fight for basic explanations about an account relating to a vehicle I only had for around two days.
The situation became even more complicated when Blue Motor Finance entered administration. From a customer’s perspective, this added even more uncertainty to a dispute that had already been going on for a very long time.
What I have found particularly upsetting is the effect this has had on my credit file and the amount of time and energy I have had to spend dealing with the consequences. I have raised disputes with credit reference agencies, contacted Blue Motor Finance numerous times and sought explanations about why I am still being treated as liable for such a substantial balance.
The entire experience has been exhausting. Communication has, in my experience, been slow, repetitive and extremely difficult to navigate. I have often felt as though I have had to chase every single stage myself just to get a response.
I would personally not use Blue Motor Finance again. Based on my experience, I would advise anyone considering finance with them to read every document carefully, keep copies of every email and letter, save all account statements, and document every conversation from the beginning.
If something goes wrong with the vehicle or the finance agreement, having a full paper trail may become extremely important.
I can only speak about my own experience, but after everything I have been through, I would strongly recommend that people do their research before entering into an agreement with this company.

In our experience with Blue Motor Finance has been an absolute administrative nightmare. After legally rejecting a used car under the Consumer Rights Act 2015—a rejection they themselves formally upheld and accepted—they completely abandoned their responsibility in ensuring the full financial unwind of the agreement.
Despite the vehicle being collected on August 5, 2026, the supplying dealership unlawfully retained my £1,000 deposit. Rather than actively stepping in to protect their customer or enforce the contract unwind, Blue Motor Finance offered endless delays, excuses, and unacceptable leniency toward a rogue trader, throwing token compensation at the problem while ignoring their core obligations.
Their gross administrative negligence and failure to secure the return of my funds forced me to independently launch legal proceedings via Money Claim Online (MCOL) against the dealership, alongside an escalation to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) for their systemic failures and distress caused.
If you take out finance with this company, be warned: the moment a vehicle goes wrong and you exercise your statutory rights, you are entirely on your own. Avoid.

I finance a car with Bluemotion.
I had an issue with the car. I could no in any way fault bluemotion finance and Jessica who handed my case to resolve this issue.
Continues update each week. Jessica`s support was phenomenal untill the case was resolved.
I would have no issues in recommending this company for finance.

Edit: Don't believe anything this lot write in response to reviews. I was never called so this has now been reported to the FCA where I disclosed several instances of unfair treatment and they confirmed this is being looked into.
Original review:
I rejected my vehicle almost immediately after discovering serious issues with its supposed Full Service History, including being supplied service records belonging to an entirely different vehicle.
What made the experience considerably worse was BMF’s complaint handling. Despite the dealer supplying me with false service-history documentation, my complaints handler effectively blamed me for not checking the documentation before purchasing the vehicle. The problem with that reasoning is obvious: the relevant documents were not even provided to me until after I had purchased the car and complained. Before purchase, I had specifically queried the service history and relied on the dealer’s assurances.
I felt I was treated profoundly unfairly, while the dealer was repeatedly given the benefit of the doubt.
The consequences have been devastating. I am out of pocket, experiencing genuine financial distress and still being required to pay for a vehicle I rejected and do not use. BMF has now entered administration and my Ombudsman complaint has been paused, leaving me trapped in an agreement I have been trying to escape almost from the beginning.
I am effectively without a car. Every journey requires arranging alternative transport, and the anxiety surrounding this has become so overwhelming that I am struggling to leave my house.
Most seriously, the financial pressure, uncertainty and treatment I have experienced have caused such profound distress that I have experienced suicidal thoughts.
That is the human consequence of how my complaint was handled.
I am pursuing every appropriate regulatory, insolvency and legal avenue available to me.
I have never felt so failed by a financial services provider. I wish I had never dealt with Blue Motor Finance and strongly advise anyone dealing with them or their new owner Hodge to steer clear.

I raised a formal complaint with Blue Motor Finance in May 2026 regarding a faulty vehicle purchased via hire purchase. Whilst they ultimately upheld my rejection I am deeply disappointed with how the complaint was handled throughout.
Key issues with their handling:
- Allowed the dealership repeated chances to cooperate despite consistent failures at every stage
- Made three separate written commitments they failed to honour
- Took 70 days from formal rejection to vehicle collection
- Broke their written promise to arrange recovery when the dealership missed their own deadline
-Promised full refund within 7-10 working days — deposit of £1,000 still not received weeks later
- Required me to escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service to make any meaningful progress
The vehicle itself was confirmed by an independent engineer as not being of satisfactory quality at point of sale with evidence of unsuccessful previous repair attempts — meaning it should never have been sold in that condition.
I appreciate that Blue Motor Finance ultimately supported my rejection. However the process was unnecessarily prolonged, written commitments were repeatedly broken and the matter remains unresolved due to the outstanding deposit.
My honest suggestion to anyone considering using Blue Motor Finance — if you have any alternative finance options available to you, I would strongly recommend exploring them first.
My experience has shown that when things go wrong the process of resolving issues can be extremely lengthy, stressful and requires significant personal effort including escalation to the Financial Ombudsman Service to make progress.

I hope no one will ever have to deal with jess from complains team. Ignored emails told if i find it that hard to understand instructions that she will put it in an email and hopefully I will then understand. Customer service corses needs to given to some of the team as the way they speak and treat there Customers like they are stupid.. 6 weeks to finally get an answer as my handler was on holidays I had no 1 to take the case so no answers for 2 weeks Customer service is key and they dont have it. 6 weeks no vehicle loss of earnings in total we have lost £1000 to be told that's not for them to deal with. I have never had an experience like this with any company.

Amazing service, help and understanding over difficulty making payments. Understood my health and financial issues. Allowed me to make greatly reduced payments for a short while. Big shout-out to Zoe. So empathetic.

Blue Motor Finance’s handling of my complaint has been deeply concerning.
They refused to review new evidence provided and incorrectly treated pre-action correspondence as a new complaint and DSAR, rather than engaging with the substance of the request.
Despite repeatedly explaining the distinction and requesting escalation to someone able to deal with pre-action/legal correspondence, this was not actioned. The same responses were repeatedly issued without addressing the issues raised.
Blue Motor Finance confirmed they do not have an in-house legal team, yet formal pre-action correspondence was not escalated to an appropriate legal/litigation function and continued to be handled through standard complaint channels.
I was also forced to chase basic administrative matters, including ensuring my correct email address was included in correspondence despite it already being provided and requested multiple times.
The handling of formal legal correspondence has been particularly concerning. A Letter Before Action and associated pre-action correspondence were redirected into complaint and DSAR processes rather than being handled as prospective legal matters. Despite repeated escalation requests, no appropriate legal route was provided.
The refusal to properly review evidence, failure to escalate, repeated generic responses, and lack of meaningful engagement have all been documented and reported to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Terrible company
Finance agreement 1005193645 Full balance was settled on 29.7.26 . Account on line saying balance cleared . Still waiting on email confirmation or letter to be send stating vehicle full balance . settled . Honestly worse company to deal with ever . Every one steer well clear

EDIT: Blue Motor Finance has gone into administration. If you have a complaint to make they will give you a final response with no resolution. If you have been given Blue Motor Finance as an option, please do not go ahead with it. They not only lie but they give robotic responses like below. Please make your own choices! If you miss payments they will cancel your right for a voluntary termination and then continue to take payments from you (apparently it is their right, but actually it’s not, it’s their policy and not correct). This is the worst finance company I have dealt with. Robotic complaints teams and very high interest rates. You are better shopping off elsewhere for car finance - I wish I did. They do not have a proper complaints team and do not address what your complaint actually is.

I have raised a complaint against the car dealership that we purchased our car from, after paying nearly 300.00 for a report as advised and emailing it across, I am yet to receive a response. I am on hold for over an hour with no response which is frustrating.I have called numerous times, emailed numerous times and have received no response yet I'm still paying for a car I cannot use. I was told by Courtney to address the email to her, I have and had no response.
