Every single time you have to contact them it's a minimum 25 minute hold but normally longer currently on a 78 minute hold just trying to figure out where the heck MY money is and why they are holding it for 21 days which is the maximum legal time for them to hold it I'm a poor college kid and I need this money to pay car insurance
BMTX cobbled together an online banking model which is weak, slow, and anything but customer service based. Signing up principal companies like T-Mobile, BMTX offers accounts to the customer base of the principal. I see that they slow play these customer accounts, taking in deposited funds, sitting on funds as long or longer than legally possible. BMTX is in the meantime gathering parasitic interest income pennies at a time at the cost of customers who have lost access to the rightful control and use of their funds.
I'm going to guess that the principal companies will eventually lose customers due to the business practices of BMTX.
If you make the mistake of opening an account with these people, one of the real enjoyable features offered to you is a call center based in India. You will have the pleasure of listening to scripted responses read to you with a Punjabi accent. The responses will get you nowhere, and you will be left hanging without your money for as long as they can hold on to it and milk it. Great fun for all.
