Great job replacing a Combi Boiler with a System Boiler
This company trades as TG Heating. It is run by Tom Gaylard. We needed to replace a very old Combi Boiler which simply wasn't suitable for our size of house. Tom recommended a System Boiler which meant installing a large hot-water tank. He measured the space we had and talked us through various options with pros & cons and costings. Once we made the decision we had a final quote and agreed a date for the work to be done. Due to the scale of the work which included needing a new lining for the flu, Tom allowed two days for the job. He checked a few days later that delivery was OK for the day before work started. That all arrived on time and so did Tom and Russell the following day. They were friendly, cheerful, efficient and worked hard. Very clean and tidy. Tidied up after the first day and when finished left the place clean and neat. They removed all packaging and old equipment. They went the extra mile by relocating a cupboard from the Boiler Room to another storage room to make way for the water tank. The cupboard was large and heavy but they moved it, levelled it and secured it to the wall in its new location. They also replaced the slatted wooden shelf above the boiler and cut it out to shape around the new flu. Before they left they made sure I understood the instructions for managing the heating and hot water. They left all the paper work and organised the guarantees which came through by email the next day. They also left the invoice for payment, exactly as quoted. This was a very good experience for a complicated job. On time, on budget, friendly, efficient and helpful. Thoroughly recommend them.
