Good to get our boiler serviced again by a local company. There was an appointment available on the day I phoned and engineer arrived promptly. I was very satisfied with his approach and thoroughness. This was about three weeks ago and we have had the boiler running smoothly ever since.
Will be contacting them again next year.

I have used Boilers r us for 7 years since they fitted my boiler. Today they serviced my boiler. The engineer arrived in the allocated time frame after calling to advise he was on his way. He wore protective shoe covers and was very courteous.

I booked my usual service with Boilers R Us as I've always found them reliable and courteous. On this occasion after booking a date the customer service team phone to offer me an earlier date which I accepted. The engineer that attended was prompt, polite and professional. I continue to be very pleased with Boilers R Us and would certainly recommend them as well as use them myself again.

This company was very responsive to our call, timely in their arrival & extremely clear in their quote. The employee who attended was very courteous & professional and extremely accurate in his timekeeping on the day. I could not fault them in any way for that part of the service.
We were charged for 1 hour of time (just under £200) for the diagnosis of the issue with our bolier and a quote for c. £1500 to fix the issue which we were told could be fixed within 48 hours.
We then contacted British Gas, they came round within the same 48 hour period and fixed the problem within 15 minutes and charged us £75 for doing so.

We can certainly recommend and will not hesitate to use Boilers R Us again. They attended promptly, were very informative and resolved the issue in a couple of days. There is also to add that the final bill was very reasonable considering the work involved. A 5 star experience!

I only required an estimate for a new water heater as my old combi boiler was completely unserviceable and broken. Having quoted for the work, which included building works which I deemed unnecessary, I decided to seek other quotes, as the price was far over my budget. After the representative had been gone for a while, he called back asking to see my gas fire. He claimed(from a visual inspection ONLY) that he could not in good conscience, leave it in operation. I offered to cease using the appliance and was told that if it were not disconnected that the Gas Board would be contacted as a matter of protocol and my gas would be cut off. Although "alternative" heating was offered, I saw this as a way of running up even further costs. I therefore cancelled all work and further advice from Boilers R Us.
I am a 65 year old man on a budget of £509/month whose home now has neither hot water nor heating. I would certainly NEVER recommend the company to anyone else nor employ them again.
Following a reply from the company, I am updating this review.
1) The representative was there to provide an estimate for the works which I wanted undertaken. At NO point did I request or require a safety check and even if I had, the representative had no right to interfere with my property.
2) No smoke/flow test was carried out and therefore any danger was merely an OPINION.
3) NO paperwork was provided to allow me to seek advice or provide help in the resolution of this matter.
4) In disconnecting the appliance, part of the assembly was removed from my household without my consent which would make it very difficult to have the appliance tested by any third party.
In conclusion, I will be seeking legal advice about this matter.
Update 27/2/2023
Unsurprisingly, no correspondence has been received by this date, which calls into doubt whether any were in fact, ever sent. I suspect this will be blamed on industrial action by post office workers. Nevertheless, please forward a further copy of this mysterious document from my records. The gas fire which was unnecessarily disconnected has now been certified as safe, and my chimney swept. But since it is 40 years old, I have arranged a replacement which will probably be installed by the firm who replaced my water heater without recourse to unnecessary additional works nor complications.

Boilers R Us in Welling was recommended to me by a work colleague. A very friendly engineer came the day following my call and explained the options of repair or replacement. As my boiler was old I opted for a replacement which was installed the next day by another pleasant engineer. This was a very neat installation. I was pleased with the price and a couple of builders who were working on my house were surprised.

First time I’ve used this company and we’re very pleased with the Boiler Service that was carried out. Our radiators haven’t been this hot for a couple of years in spite of our boiler being serviced annually. Nice touch, the engineer put shoe covers on when he came in.

Combi boiler needed replacing which was all sorted in under a week which included a competitive quote provided, installation by a knowledgeable engineer (thanks Steve) along with helpful office staff who sorted out the guarantee paperwork with Vaillant. Would use again
