Overall I like the services but sometimes it’s low quality with videos. Only use two devices

I’ve used boingo for 3 years at Ft.Drum, and I never had much of an issue with it, PCSing to Ft.Lewis and now I’m convinced that boingo just sucks, the wifi goes down every other week. The day I arrived I set up my account and it was down, the entire 4 day weekend. And waking up this morning it’s down again. it’s only reliability is it’s ability to go down.

I’m in building 56650 on ft cavazos and the service is so slow I switched to spectrum.

I am over at Fort Cavazos and was wondering why there is not any Wi-Fi in the soldier recovery unit building

Reply from Boingo Wireless
Good service in the building I'm currently in.

Currently in Japan and have used in the US prior; this review covers both. Spotty coverage at best. When you do get internet, not only is it overpriced, it is extremely unreliable and you will be lucky to work on something for 30+ mins and have everything saved if it doesnt automatically. Boingo is a terrible cash grab government contract thats a laughing stock of a company. Hoping to see it go bankrupt from the lack of government users who will gladly take their business elsewheres.

Readily available on base, although somewhat Inconsistent in quality

Boingo offers the worst Wi-Fi for the highest price. Do not buy. The “convenience” of its availability is offset by your phone randomly disconnecting every so often and while being connected, not connecting you with any service whatsoever. Have fun being stuck on loading screens.
If I could wipe this miserable company off the surface of the earth I would. Their contract with the military is predatory to service members AT BEST.

I Would give 0 stars but you have to give one to leave the review. Internet has been down for 10 days now and nobody knows when it will be restored. I pay for the blazing package but get no Internet. We're at 29 Palms in California on the military base. They are ripping the military off taking their money and not providing the service. When the service does work which is almost never it's horrible, laggy, interrupted. My Building on base is connected to another building we are separated by one wall and the other building has had Internet service the whole time but this building I'm in has not had service for 10 days now. How does an Internet company not know how to fix an issue after 10 days!?!?! Waste of money. I will be switching to Spectrum.
