I've been addicted to bol shakes for about 5 years now.
I love all the power shake flavours. The supermarkets don't always stock all the flavours so I have subscribed and I can choose how often I want them shipped (I chose every 6 weeks) and I can choose how many of each flavour I'd like. Then it's delivered straight to my door. Brilliant.

Big fan of the company having gone fully plant-based, this is good both in terms of sustainability and ethics, both of which are important. Also great to see it being a B-Corp business, and the product itself is both healthy and tasty!

The reason I am marking it down a bit is on this topic of sustainability and being good for the environment, having bottles made of plastic, of which only around 30% of it is recycled plastic, is in and of itself, not so sustainable. I've just moved to Bol drinks over Huel which could easily be seen as their direct competitor, due to the latter getting bought out by Danone which is a company I want to avoid supporting, and yet even Huel's bottles are made of around 50% recycled plastics, significantly more than these are.

Considering the fact that many of us now know the whole recycling thing is a bit of a myth, i.e. most products, even if separated and cleaned properly, don't actually get recycled, just shipped off to poorer countries for the waste to build up there, I really think a company such as this, if they have to use plastics bottles to keep the product fresh and prevent leaking etc., should be aiming for as close to 100% recycled plastic as possible, if not 100%. Alternatively, finding a more eco-friendly material to use instead if this cannot be achieved. Or, setting up a scheme like other companies I have used where you can return your used bottles direct to them, for them to be cleaned and reused again, thus creating a circular business chain. Just food for thought as they say!

If the above was worked on, this product/company would for sure be worth the 5* rating :)

Always opt for this brand as the formulation doesn't include artificial sweeteners

I have quite a few allergies and intolerances and these shakes perfectly meet my needs and are so handy for my busy lifestyle

Great protein shakes - taste nicer than any other plant-based ones on the market. They deliver directly to my door so I can buy a good supply at once.

BOL’s very nutritionally balanced food drinks, including 25-26gms protein in each bottle, are ALWAYS most delicious! And unlike some of BOL’s competitors are great also in terms of lack of added sugar. Thank you! And great value, flexible + very efficient.
But maybe beyond BOL’s control, although BOL should be aware, not happy that their delivery partner Royal Mail, contrary to my expressed wishes, left my recent delivery of BOLS outside behind my bins, with potential for theft.
But BOLS itself great!

Literally every flavour is soooo yummy!!!
Not only are they packed with flavours from outta this world , they're also full of goodness as well!!!
You see the other brands load em up with guar gums, gellan gums, sucralose and sweeteners🤮 but not BOL👌🏻 BOL is full of the good stuff Yee haw 🤠
