I have purchased lamp, 2 bulbs, coat hanger and 3 vases in November. Bulbs and coat hanger was missing. It took Bolia customer service 3 weeks to respond to my email regarding missing items. I was told 'wait we are investigating and will get back to you soon'. I waited further 2 weeks and sent another email asking for details of management as i wanted to escalate the complaint. Yet, again I was ignored for three weeks. I sent yet another email, which was eventually acknowledged and refund was promised within 3-6 working days. One month later no refund has been made and no response to my emails.

I ordered a couch and a table plus chairs from Bolia and the delivery and Customer Service ended up disappointing us.
The extension for the table came as gray-laminated, not dark-oiled oak.
The table and chair legs are not the same color, even though both are supposed to be dark-oiled oak.
The couch legs should also be dark oiled oak but are a completely different color.
I sent two messages to their customer service email since the delivery on 05th December 2024, no response at all.
This is very disappointing for a basket size this large. I considered buying more from Bolia but this is changing my mind.

Delivery is a joke. We ordered 3 different types of wine glasses on 26.11. They all receive a different tracking number. One set arrived already on the 29.11, which is great. The second set however arrived when we were not home. Instead of asking the neighbors, it got sent back to the Bolia warehouse. They didn’t send it to a postal office for 7 days, they didn’t leave a message in our letter box, nothing. We also didn’t receive any reply or update from Bolia. Do we get our money back? Do we need to buy these again? Do we get them for the same reduced price? Why are we paying delivery fees for exactly? The third set of glasses is still stating the same status (11 days after ordering): Shipment is being prepared. Again, no update from Bolia itself. And this is not the first time that delivery goes wrong, this is the fourth time. Obviously, delivery can’t follow the demand because of sales prices.

Hi Bolia,
We ordered 3 sets of glasses. All of them came with a different tracking code. 1 set arrived. The 2nd set was sent back apparently, since we were not at home at the delivery. Unfortunately, they didn't try to leave it behind at our neighbors. I do not know what happens now. Will I get a message from Bolia? Will they try to deliver it again? Is the order now canceled? Should I buy it again? No update on the 3rd set yet.
It's clear that you are selling in volumes with the never ending sale prices, but delivery lacks behind.

Wir hatten am 27-April-2024 einen Tisch mit 6 Stühle bestellt bei Bolia Germany. Die Lieferung hat 2 Monate gedauert wie besprochen.
Am Liefern tag (19-Juni-2024), für unsere Überraschung ein Stuhl kaputt war, nicht wegen Lieferung, sondern Produktionsfehler.
Wir haben eine Reklamation gemacht auf dem Bolia Website, und nur nach fast 2 Wochen bekommen wir eine E-Mail von einer dritten Firma die zu uns kommen sollt, um der Stuhl zu reparieren.
Aber dann muss man noch mehr als ein Monat warten, bis einen Termin gibt (12-Aug-2024).
Es ist frustrierend, dass man so ein teures Produkt kauft (insgesamt fast 8K Euro) und danach Sie keine Mühe geben, um eine schnelle Lösung zu finden.
Bolia hat ein Fehler gemacht, und wir als Kunde müssen einfach Monaten lang warten, bis die Firma das Problem löst.
Die Produkte sind schön, aber wenn ein Problem gibt, es ist einfach dein Problem.

(EN) Very disappointing customer service
We had ordered a table with 6 chairs from Bolia Germany on April 27-2024. Delivery took 2 months as discussed.
On delivery day (19-June-2024), for our surprise a chair was broken, not because of delivery, but production mistake.
We made a complaint on the Bolia website, and only after almost two weeks, we get an email from a third company that was supposed to come to us to fix the chair.
But then you must wait for more than a month until there is an appointment (12-Aug-2024).
It is frustrating that you buy such an expensive product (a total of almost 8K euros) and afterwards they will not make any effort to find a quick solution for their mistake.
Bolia made a mistake and we as a customer simply must wait for months until they fix the problem.
The products are nice, but if there is a problem, it's just your problem.

My order was cancelled a few days after transaction and payment. Apparently the stock was not sufficient and appearing incorrectly online. Still disappointing.

I ordered two wall lamps three months ago. After few weeks wait they were delivered, but one of them was broken (glass part had a huge crack, not surprisingly given the packaging didn’t have protective layers). After I requested an exchange a new lamp was promised to be delivered in another few weeks. Both times I had to stay at home, since Bolia can only deliver in person even such small packages.
The worst part: this lamp had one part missing, so we can’t fix it on the wall. The customer service sent me an email confirming that this part will be delivered in another three weeks (!!) and again with the same delivery service meaning i have to be at home to accept it. This is such a disappointing experience! two small wall lamps that we cant receive in full at once, and so much effort.

This sofa was purchased in end of November and I received it in December, meaning I’ve had it for a total of five months(I do not even use it daily but mostly on the weekends just me and my partner) yet the very expensive fabric is crumpling and the cushions are falling in and sliding out making it uncomfortable) I’ve had better quality sofas for 500€ that lasted me years… they are not respecting the 10 year warranty claiming this is normal wear and tear and I ask how.. I’ve used this sofa approx 12 times.. what would it be if I used it daily.. (every reply takes weeks from customer service) And they don’t want to help. So claims of 10 year warranty is a lie.

2-3 years ago i bought cosima sofa, after some time I had to claim the sofa. The problem was the feathers, which penetrated the surface and stung when sitting on the seat. I was really surprised, this kind of "luxury sofa"?? Sellers were surprised too, they told me that they saw it first time. Bolia confirmed the claim and I have got new sofa. But it happened again with this new sofa. I had to claim it again. This time they sent me this:
‘‘Cosima has a top made of down filling that shifts over time. The down will turn over, which means that some feathers will stick out.
These don't hurt or compromise the quality, but can instead confirm that your sofa is filled with genuine feathers, making it infinitely soft to lie and sit on.
This is therefore neither a material nor a manufacturing defect, and unfortunately, exchanging the sofa would not be of benefit., "
??? I am very disappointed. Why does this luxurious sofa stab me in the ass/hand/head at least once a week?

I have ordered items online however it was delivered broken. I have informed them with all details and photos, however no response to my emails for almost three weeks despite several reminders. I’ll look for my rights legally and will never buy anything from Bolia again.
Most terrible customer service, there is no proper return option on their website, you have to search several pages, finally you get an email address who doesn’t respond to your emails. I wouldn’t want to spend so much time for a simple return. Regrets…

Delivery was smooth and professional. The delivery guys let me know around half an hour before they arrived that they were on their way. They unpacked the sofa and took the wrapping and boxes away. Overall, an stress-free experience.
The sofa itself I love- it looks great and is so comfortable. The only slight thing that I am unsure about is that a dimple remains in the sitting cushion when you get up. Maybe this is part of the process of the cushion ‘leveling out’ and finding its actual form after a while in use. At the moment, however, it’s pretty noticeable to the point where I have to bash the cushion a little to regain a smooth form. Were the cushion any firmer, then maybe it wouldn’t be as comfortable? An interesting comfort versus aesthetic issue. But, overall, I’m very pleased with it.
Just be aware, unlike other sofa companies, Bolia doesn’t offer to take away your old one. So, you’ll have to make arrangements beforehand.
