great customer care

I greatly appreciated Bolia's follow up and attention with the issue encountered during the delivery of my order.
It is nice to have in-person conversations with people taking care of the issue, and who follow up by themselves without any need to chase : very rare nowadays !

Je suis vraiment désolée de lire cela, mais il y a des choses que nous ne pouvons pas contrôler - je vois que vous avez demandé à GLS de laisser le colis à votre domicile sans votre présence, donc la société de livraison GLS n'avait pas d'autre forme de livraison et ils n'ont malheureusement pas de contrôle sur ce qui se passe dans l'immeuble. Nous travaillons cependant sur votre cas, nous vous serions donc reconnaissants de rester patient et nous reviendrons bientôt vers vous avec de nouvelles informations.

Wonderful products - dubious customer service

Wonderful products that promise premium quality.

BUT: hidden costs are popping up (charging EUR 55 to fix 16 screws!), email responses are sluggish and don’t answer the questions. All this after paying over EUR 8000.

The excuse of “it is our policy” leaves even worse taste in the mouth. Please be more transparent and upfront about the full customer experience- especially if you wish to play in the premier league!

Thank your for your comment. Unfortunately, the assembly of wooden furniture like tables and shelves is not included in the delivery cost as a standard. I did not find any e-mails from you to the customer care department, so I can not see what was written in the e-mail unfortunately.

Staff were very helpful.

I had a very good in store experience. Elena was very helpful, guiding me expertly through the floor spaces to look at sofas. She was also very helpful when it came to selecting materials.

Excellent customer service support

One of the best experience of post sales assistance.
I bought chairs and when they were delivered I wasn’t happy with the color and wanted to change it .
The customer service team made the whole process flawless and easy allowing me to get the products desired in a short amount of time .

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Ordered a sofa via their stores in paris when the store told us their customer service in denmark was unreliable. Order delivery date was missed. Neither customer service nor store can determine where sofa is. If it was manufactures or even sent. To this day we spent over 5000 euros and have nothing to show for it but promises and a rediculous pathetic offer of 50 euros. The store blames their own customer service and none of them provide any information or solutions. An absolutely terrible experience which probably will result in a terrible sofa as well. Hard to have any faith in this company at all.

Is there a pilot on board?

Our store experience was good. We are also happy with the product we received (Noora Sofa in Sea Green). However between the two (ordering the products and actually receiving them) we wonder if there is a pilot on board the Bolia plane. Change of delivery date and time 3x to finally return to the initially agreed slot. We called the Bolia customer service several times but they don't know what's going on. Each time, the person on the phone promises to call us back with additional information but they never called back (who knows, maybe they'll call us back next week?). Coordination between customer service and transport company non-existent. Partial invoice received before delivery which does not correspond to the complete order and which creates a panic because no one seems to know what we will receive (or when). Eventually everything was settled but frankly it was not a pleasant experience. Given the price of the products and the generous additional delivery cost, we have the right to expect *much* better from Bolia. It's a shame. I'm leaving a score of 2 (rather than 0) because the two delivery guys were very friendly and kindly agreed to help me take my old sofa upstairs.

An expensive lesson learned on Bolia

Spent in total ~10k on furniture and this was the last purchase from Bolia I will make. 2 out of 3 recent purchases are faulty, first they delivered broken chest of drawers - it’s been weeks and Bolia is not responsive. Now they delivered furniture with flawed surface - their quality assurance is a joke.
In addition, they make you pay for the delivery - they sent a regular courier with no lift, no trolley to deliver piece of furniture weighting around 100 Kg. It was a parcel delivery service, not a service to deliver heavy/bulky stuff.
pretty but overpriced furniture of questionable quality and delivered in a careless way. They inform straight away that the customers can reach out for consumer institutions if they are not happy - it’s there for a reason! It’s not worth the stress not the hassle. I’ll stay away

Quality and post-sales service

"Premium" furniture where mostly the price is premium, we ordered piece of furniture that was broken, it's been two weeks, the customer service is responding once is a while, no solution on the horizon, they said they will "talk to someone who can fix it". So disappointing, firstly the quality - long awaited furniture comes broken, secondly post-sales service is far from premium brand.

Purchased lamp and floor lamp via…

Purchased lamp and floor lamp via online. It’s look different from the photos. All the hardware look very shiny and golden on the photos, but reality they are very dull and dark as if it’s been kept in warehouse for years.
I am still missing one unit of order. I am not sure why I received review request while my delivery is not yet complete.

Delivery

Delivery: not great.
Customer service: good
Quality of materials: very good

Bought a bed at the opening of the store. Was assured of a pickup date but when I went to pick it up the bed wasn’t available. They offered a great compensation to deliver with unpacking with cost compensation instead of pick up at a later date. In the end they didn’t unpack and it came with many dents and flaws. When contacting customer service they offered another good cash or replacement compensation but the customer service team were very confused and initially gave me a wrong compensation. When confronting them they made it up immediately.
