Everything went perfect. Products of fantastic quality. Delivery on time. They do it with Planzer. They unpacked and assembled the sofa and armchairs for me and also removed the packaging from my apartment. Great service !!

First time my husband and I are buying online - honestly worst experience and a very unprofessional site. We were charged two times; the order number was not accessible, and after many, many phone calls, we are still unsure if we will get our furniture or when the delivery will occur. So far, I don't recommend buying online.

As is the case with other reviews - my story is similar
The furniture is great, the customer service is terrible.
I visited the in person store in Zürich, and in the store everything was ok, the staff is somewhat helpful and friendly.
But then dealing with customers service over email the reply was so slow, I ended up going in store to try to get answers. Taking over a week to reply to a customer service email is definitely not okay.
From what is priced as a premium furniture company I really expected more.
There is also very little effort to correct these bumps. An apology for the inconveniences would have gone a long way to smooth things over.

I had a mixed experience with Bolia. First of all, I have to say that I love the furniture. I've bought two pieces already. I had a very friendly and helpful staff member help me with my purchase in Luzern. She was really great.
When I phoned in, though, to ask how long the sale on a sideboard would be, another sales person ( a younger lady) was woefully clueless. I even directed her to the part of the store where the sideboard was to have her take a look and she couldnt find it. I would definitely recommend more sales training for this young lady. Like other reviews, I found the pick-up point in Emmen very hard to find. All it really needs is a big sign that says: Bolia Pick-Up Here!
And finally, I paid for my furniture in the store with a EC card. After the pick up, I still got an invoice asking me to pay for the furniture. I wrote to Bolias customer service telling them that they made a mistake, I had paid and they should check their records. I got a very nice, very friendly email back saying that that's correct, I did pay already but that its standard practice to send the email regardless. I find this a little superfluous. First of all, I wasted my time writing that email and the customer service person wasted her time replying to my email. In this age of digitalization, there must be a better way to figure out who has paid and who hasnt?
My professional opinion and my subjective experience tells me that the customer journey at Bolia has some holes in it and it would be nice to have a more seamless experience. I still love my furniture! So thank you for that.
PS: The next step would be to start thinking of a sustainability strategy running through your whole value chain. That would be awesome and be a nice marketplace differentiator!

I bought 4 beautiful plates, a gorgeous sleeper sofa and a sturdy dining table in Bolia. I'm really happy with the quality of this brand, they design amazing stuff. The only (yet not insignificant) issues are the logistics and customer service (at least in Switzerland), as they never deliver on the day they say they will and it takes them very long to get back to you. It is fair to add that, after a lot of complaining emails, they did compensate me quite generously. So if you're not in a rush, the quality and design are really great.
