Over the years, Boma has evolved into one of London's most enjoyable and attractive independent garden centres. The place is like a paradisal oasis in the heart of its Kentish Town urban locale. Boma specialises in a massive and diverse range of houseplants and outdoor plants. It is also renowned for its fabulous range of handmade plant pots, planters, plant care products and gardening essentials. What sets Boma apart is the team of obsessive horticulturists running the place. But it's much more than the team and products. It's also about the community, which plays an integral part in the Boma's daily life. Since the launch of Boma's new webshop in 2021, demand for plants has taken off nationwide throughout the UK. Ordered online to collect a rare houseplant - I could see Boma specialised in exotic houseplants so felt it was worth the drive from Suffolk to collect a plant I’ve been wanting for some time. I arrived the next day after driving 1hr 45mins to be told the plant was not in stock - no phone call which I could have answered and turned back, just an email I didn’t see until it was too late. I had a 15% discount code on my online order, which wasn’t honoured when I purchased another plant in store, which really, I only did because I didn’t want it to be such a wasted journey! No other compensation, just “sorry about that.” Really disappointingly poor customer care.
I would suggest you call customers in the future or maybe keep your website updated better?!

Your order was placed on Easter Sunday, when we were closed. We processed it first thing Monday morning, but unfortunately, we discovered the plant was no longer in stock due to high turnover on rare houseplants. We immediately issued a refund and notified you by email with our apologies.
We’re very sorry you travelled without waiting for the collection notification, which is our standard procedure for click and collect. We understand how frustrating this must have been.
Regarding the 15% first-time order– it is valid both online and in-store. If you were informed otherwise, we apologise for this error. The sales assistant has now been updated. We will also review the details on our website to enhance clarity.
Situations like these are very rare—we strive to provide excellent service and take great pride in our reputation. We genuinely hope you’ll forgive this unfortunate experience, and we wish you all the best.

I had visited the centre in Kentish Town and was pleased with the variety of plants, pots, etc. available. My daughter is just beginning to work on the exterior of her home and I got her a gift card. It arrived quickly and in plenty of time for the holidays.

My first experience of Boma Garden…
My first experience of Boma Garden Centre & I was delighted. They're the only place I found in the whole country to stock the Christmas decorations I wanted & I had searched the internet for ages! They delivered them to me the very next day, along with some lovely bulbs. You couldn't ask for more. What a great place!

Superb service - once again
Boma is my go-to garden centre in London. Fantastic knowledgeable team. Excellent plant selection and amazing service.
Case in point: after I placed my order for delivery, the team followed up to confirm with some very helpful pointers - and their delivery was faster and more exact than other competitors.

Excellent online ordering service
Excellent online ordering service. Plants arrived well packaged (too much plastic packaging though!) and here within a week. Hebe plants were healthy and a good size. Would definitely use again for my garden planting if what I need is not available locally.

This was my first time buying from this seller & I was very pleased with the rose I received. A very large, healthy plant packed with flower buds. As a result I would recommend this seller very highly to anyone looking to buy quality plants.

Hoya Carnosa that I bought on December…
Hoya Carnosa that I bought on December 2023 is slowly died. It was obviously has an illness, some of it's leaves was yellowish and dried, and moldy. I didn't mind and clean the bad leaves but in 2 months whole plant infected and today I put it in bin. I can't believe I paid £32 pounds for a plant with illness.
It's not my first hoya, I have some in my house, I know how to take care of plants, I tried everything, I bought fungus fighter spray, root treatments etc. Nothing worked.
They sold me an ill plant in a bad condition.
If you had the same problem, and suspect that the plant looks ill, don't be stupid like me and think that you can heal the plant, just send it back.
