They double charge me now they don’t answer the phone to get the them is only through the new membership team, and they just close the phone on your face soon as they know who you’re if you don’t want to waste your money, please be aware of BOOK A BUILDER

Signed up for the ‘pro membership’…
Signed up for the ‘pro membership’ costing £598.80.
We were promised/guaranteed leads sent direct to our company without the need to pay for them individually.
We paid for this on the 22nd of April 2025, as of today (21st June nearly 2 calendar months later), we have received ZERO leads.
Upon speaking to one of their representatives (who was very helpful and polite), he was surprised we hadn’t seen any come in. He did come back to us to say they have increased our radius free of charge.
I just cannot believe that Book a builder as a company have had ZERO enquiries for loft conversions, garage conversions or insulation works in my area meaning we haven’t been sent any leads…..
Another strange event was that 1 day after paying for the ‘pro membership’ another sales person from the company called us to try and get us to ‘UPGRADE’ to a ‘corporate membership’. This would cost an additional £1,400.
All in all, not happy at all. £600 for ZERO leads in 2 months. I have used other pay for leads companies in this time and they have these type of leads coming in regularly.
Either -
1. The company has deliberately mislead us.
2. The company isn’t doing well so they have to try and get companies to pay a subscription type membership as they don’t have leads to charge for individually.
3. There is some type of error on system.

I needed a (non-electric) towel rail for my bathroom after the previous one broke. I contacted Darius through Bookabuilder and he agreed to source the required items and do the job within a couple of days.
He did an excellent job, left the work area clean and tidy and took away the broken rail and fittings. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Great roof ridge tile job, at a good price
Jim (JAP Roofing) provided a good and friendly experience through the booking process and in carrying out the job - replacing all our roof ridge tiles. Good comms throughout, very competitive price and exactly what we agreed up front. No hesitation in recommending.

Absolute waste of time and waste of money. They don’t bother to reply to complaints and completely ignore you. On top of that, they lie and make false promises just to get you on board. Once they have your money, they disappear, also now they blocked me from their facebook page LoL, (little babys) and started to lie aswell about my "accepted" leads. They said i accepted 16 leads since i am a member, but i haven't got that much leads at all, also i can't see any of these "accepted" leads in my account. Avoid at all costs!
UPDATE : They flagged my review because i am telling the true about this liar "company" like other trades who fall off into this liars.

Excellent Job done
The guys at Balmoral roofing did an excellent job fixing my roof that had been leaking for a while. I had tried other roofers, but they were unable to fix it. Balmoral roofing was also very professional. I would recommend them.

This is by far the biggest scam I’ve ever fallen for!
They claimed to have high-quality leads and said that every day, a number of new customers were looking for services. I ended up paying around £300 over the phone after speaking with a lady — I even gave her my full card details.
Two weeks later, another £900 was taken from my account without any warning. When I contacted them to cancel the service (since there were no real leads or jobs), they refused to issue a refund, blaming me for not asking whether the £1,200 was the full yearly cost.
I then requested that all my bank details be permanently removed from their system. They confirmed this.
Now, a year later, I’ve received a message stating they’ll be charging me £1,438.80 + VAT for another year of this so-called “service.” I’ve tried calling them multiple times, but no one answers.
Disgusting service and completely unacceptable behaviour.
Shame on them. Fraudsters.
