Booking online is impossible

Booking online is impossible. Trying to remove payment methods is also impossible. So now I have my paypal and credit card registered at Cineworld (which now I don't want to touch with a barge pole!), but I cannot use either to make payment and neither can I remove them afterwards. Absolutely incredible. This company deserves to fail if this is the way they handle front door traffic!

A company trying to commit commercial suicide

I have been trying to book tickets for several days both through web and app. Finally I managed to get to the point of payment but the system will not accept any of my cards. I’m afraid I shall go to Vue instead.

I would score them 0 but the system doesn’t offer that option.

I have just watched No Time To Die at…

I have just watched No Time To Die at Chichester cineworld and I feel that I have been cheated as I chose to watch on the IMAX screen ?? , it had no resemblance to any IMAX experience that I have had in the USA or Canada. I paid £26 for two tickets and would have been better off watching it at my local Picturedrome for a third of the price.
P.s. I enjoyed the film.

Great customer experience in Greenwich O2…

Team Leader (Harry) in Greenwich O2 cinema did a fantastic job. We couldn’t reach customer service by phone to update Group for our unlimited cards. So he helped us get the tickets and snacks and gave a number to call for customer service. Harry was super nice and polite all the way, made us feel welcome back to the cinema after long pandemic break.

Not been able to book tickets for…

Not been able to book tickets for months and when I called up to get a refund I was told I could not have one despite having no access to showings. Been an unlimited member since 2017 and now cancelled my membership. Extremely disappointed

my unlimited card stopped working

my unlimited card stopped working and i ended up paying full price for movies... what's the point of paying monthly membership being treated like garbage. I would give zero star if I could.

Our seats were dirty with food items & the floor

Visited tdy with family & when we got to our seats at 1pm there was loads of food/popcorn etc on the seats & floor which was disappointing when people are concerned about germs etc. Suggestion could be to only book seats for one half of the cinema so that if there isn’t time to clean at least everyone will have a clean seat and surrounding area as I visited vue the week b4 & very organised with seating

No Zero Star

No Zero Star
Whenever I try to book a ticket with my unlimited card it tells me it isn't valid.
I have been onto their (no)help line they sent I temporary ticket - still waiting for the replacement one - that didn't work - told the guy he said he would reset it and to give it 20mins. It still didn't work. Sent an email to their customer services. A couple of weeks later they sent an email saying they needed more details (presumably a delaying tactic).
They sent me an email saying that all their website issues had been fixed.
Guess what they are not

Just update recent review

Just update recent review to say the Cineworld booking App appears to have resolved its issues, managed to book tickets with Premium Unlimited card. Have received no further communication from Cineworld re problems with the App, no apology or acknowledgement that they had messed up. Poor public relations but hope that Cineworld continues in business but signs are not good when companies stop taking care of customer base.

I would give them 1 star if I could

I would give them 1 star if I could. I’ve sent emails about trying to sort out my cineworld card and just get no responses it’s ridiculous. Considering the fact they were closed all of last year they should be giving out refunds. Do they even have a customer service team?

Appalling service

I wanted a break as I was shielding, no one answered 7 e mails so I cancelled my direct debit. Eventually they gave me the break I wanted but despite three requests for a manager to contact me they simply closed the “complaint” without resolving it. As the DD was cancelled I needed to discuss how to restart it but idiotic people purporting to be “customer service” offer nothing apart from parrot like responses clearly not caring about the so called valued customer.
Supercilious treatment refusal to escalate my complaint to a manager.
I keep submitting complaints but the only response I have had reiterated the result I didnt agree with so no further forward

Do not sign up to their unlimited plan

Emailed them last month (4 weeks ago) and no reply, they keep taking payments from my card but their cinemas are closed. When you want to cancel the direct debit they say it’s against the contractual terms (breach of contract) their policy is vague and their newsletter uses complex terms to confuse the audience into having to stay with them.
