Dear team,
The bus was on time, the driver drove safely. Communication in English was ok but not easy.
3 negative remarks:
1- I had problems to join the company during the day, just to get a quick confirmation that everything was booked correctly. As I reached someone, the person didn't know about the booking, was vague like "today is quiet, so we can probably take the drive" and didn't offer to have a look and call me back. As I insisted because of a written confirmation, the man just said that if I have of written, then someone will come." I think this is a very poor service information, I was stressing until the bus arrived.
2- During the evening, I called the driver and cleared with him if he is able and agrees to depart 30 min later from the meeting point. He agreed and didn't seem bothered at all with the later departure. At exact 22.30, the new ans discussed prior departure time, he called on my phone and shouted at me which I didn't understand because one hour prior, he was ok with a 30-minute delay on the return drive. I had to pay 3 taxis (each 260-270 DKK) for the slowest guests of my group and the bus arrived exactly 3 mins before us. So I really didn't get why the sudden hassle by the driver. He furthermore was parking farer away as planned because of the difficulty of stopping at Tivoli's.
3- I am pretty sure that I booked the option with "driver is waiting for us" but I happen to hear that the driver was having another drive in between. It was no problem for us but in the light of his weird reaction by pick-up, I felt a bit overtaken. I hope his sudden mood change wasn't because of another spontaneous drive because that would be very unfortunate, from the customer point of view.
Overall good experience, since the booking was respected, but I herewith request and expect the reimbursement of the 3 rides which were not necessary. Please communicate to the driver that I would have tipped him generously but I couldn't since I was left behind. Tell him as well, next time, he should just say no to a delayed departure time or make clear, it will be 22.30 and no more minute. In this case, the situation would have been clearer. I again found the communication in English difficult, this may be the reason. ?
