Now that the legal time has passed I…
Now that the legal time has passed I can share this.
I got in touch with a customer representative of theirs with a specific request to contact a doctor and organize a meeting for my very niche condition. The representative assured me that they can and they will. They gave me a quote.
After paying them the thousand euro fee, they gave feedback to me from a completely different doctor. When I asked what happened with the feedback I asked for, they claimed that this doctor is better. However I didn't ask for this doctor, I paid them the fees to contact and organize a meeting with the specific doctor they assured would help me.
When I issued a refund claim, they denied it and stopped returning my calls or e-mail. I contacted the EU commission for customer protection which quickly arranged a legal attorney to represent me in my claim. The most interesting part is is that they were well aware of the company and what they do but there was nothing they can do about the many people who have been hurt by them.
The EU commission got back to me that there is no response from BookingHealth. Nobody has been able to get ahold of any representative to at least give them the legal notice.
I strongly suggest people choose a proven medical mediator or if not -- very carefully do their research and ask for signed papers of every transaction and conversation.
Cancer treatment + gyno check-up
I came to Germany from Canada as a support person for my mom who was receiving immunotherapy cancer treatment which was arranged by BookingHealth. While staying in Munich for 10 days, I asked BookingHealth team to arrange a general gynaecological check-up for myself. Everything got arranged on a short notice with wonderful Prof. Peschers at Isar Klinikum. I felt like I was treated like a president’s wife! Everything was perfect starting from case manager Monica, travel advisor Nour, transportation with Adis and Sam, to my extremely kind and personable translator Claudia and finally the Prof. Peschers herself. I never felt alone in a foreign country, I always felt the entire team’s suport 24/7. What an experience! Professor was very kind and empathetic, exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. The whole check-up was relatively fast and comfortable. As a
female in her early 30’s I could never even dream of something like that in my home country. The best money I have ever spent by far. Thank you, BookingHealth, for organizing this experience for me and my mother.

We were pleasantly surprised by the level of service: correspondence, calls, drivers - all went perfect. All very friendly and professionally.
The only minor critical remark concerns a translator. We did ask for but apparently the translator is part of the package. She was very nice, but not really needed.
Amazing experience
Amazing help from Monika, Julia and the team! The therapy went smoothly and without much worry from our side as everything was organised for us. We also enjoyed the company of our German translator Weronica. Recommending prof. Gansauge as an amazing expert in oncology treatment.
Smooth experience.
Very good experience with this company. Everything went smoothly with our coach/driver.
Scam.The worst company ever
Scam. The worst company ever. Everything have started nicely but finished really bad and it still going on. They still have not refunded us. We were booked in with Zentrum der erweiterten Medizin , The сhief doctor of the clinic is Dr. med. Gerhard Siebenhüner who applied treatment my mum shouldn’t have been applied. They have not booked my mother with gynaecologist-oncologist and kept promising “tomorrow”. The clinic kept her for a week without doctor or checking and cleaning her open wound. Wound cleaner has been booked just when we refused to leave the clinic and the police has been called. When we have insisted, to be delivered for what we have paid, they terminated our contract with them. The сhief doctor of the clinic is Dr. med. Gerhard Siebenhüner Or any of his colleagues doctors didn’t even look into my mums wound like we were promised. He even didn’t check the medical papers properly I have emailed to him therefore applied treatment she shouldn’t have been applied. The company, booking health.com have not apologised but promised refund, but to date only half refunded and its already 6 months gone when the contract says within 3-5 working days. They keep fobbing us off.Legal case is being processed. Please join. Scam.
Today is 09.12.24 and they still have not paid the full amount. They paid another half after the review. But still delaying the remaining. And it’s been six months now. They have asked me to remove this review, but they paid only half of the remaining half. Dodgy, very dodgy.
There is another review about another daughters mum with cancer who has been treated exceptionally well which suspiciously mirrors the exact just in reverse the situation of mine…. Please be careful
Everything was perfect…
Everything from the organisation to the return to home was perfect and we are thankful to Med Expert Consult for their care at every step. We are especially thankful to our interpreter Vicky, to Monica and Julia for their help and support concerning the medical information and advices, for their kind assistance. Prof. Gansauge from LDG in Berg is a remarkable specialist and man and we are really full of hope that his dendritic vaccine LANEX DC will be the crucial therapy for my sister.
My experience
My experience with Ms. Julia Meinhard was very good , and I'm really glad I chose the treatment journey with the support of Booking Health. They assisted me at every step, making everything so much easier. Specially the support and assistance I received during my visa application process, which was quite lengthy at around 9 months, was particularly significant.
They take full payment then fully ignore you
It sadly been a devastating experience. I'm a single hard working mother of young twins.
Was speaking to Monica Diruberto my booking health agent for many weeks.
She was great and agreed on the best hospital for my treatment and the agreed dates. I told her I could only be seen while I was in Europe till 5 July and she took note and confirmed
100% the booked was confirmed to see the professor's in Munchen Univercity RECHTS DER ISAR from 1 to 5 July 2024. I decided to pay and went for bookinghealth as I needed urgent assistance. Monica was really great but from the moment I paid via EFT 12000 euro, everything changed.
The travel manager confirmed nothing was booked for these dates. The booking agent Monica went completely silent.
As I could no longer reach her I contacted the quality manager Hany Elrouby who eventually asked my bank details but then after shared a refund was not possible.
Monica shared it was a miscommunication by the Univercity hospital and I should definately be getting a refund.
They both asked my bank details but then went silent again.
I eventually got urgent treatment elsewhere at another Univercity hospital. I had to fly back to my home country in South Africa and my children had to go back to school.
I have sent them numerous email's. Over 50 missed phone calls but I'm being ignored. While I never used any of there service or even went to there hospitals they won't refund me. Now yesterday they sent me a email they will consider to refund me 7000 euro from the 12000 euro I paid.
If you scroll to the back of the pages of Trust pilot
(reviews) you will read multiple cases that experienced a similar scenario. Looking back I wish I would of read this all before paying. I was so desperate at the time.
Looking back I wish I would of went to Bookined another Tourist medical provider who people don't seem to experience this issue. They too sadly told me bookingHealth are known for doing this.
It seems several other people also reported it to the German police and who are very interested and
started a investigation.
I read multiple people on here took legal action and where still ignored. Who thereafter moved to further proceedings to court. Eventually booking health agreed on a refund but then booking health didn't stick to the payment plan.
Of course should I get a full refund I will remove this post.
Keep you posted.

A Very Good Service!
All of the people were very good and very helpful! Tanja, Houda, Rosul, Jason and Nour all did a great job - I was very well looked after.
The hospital was modern and the Doctors and Nurses were great. Lots of good food as well.
All of the people above looked after me very well and I would not hesitate to recommend all of them.
Waleed is more than just a translator
Waleed is more than just a translator. He is an invaluable member of my extended medical support team. Providing information, comfort, comfort, ideas for when I’m feeling bad, In providing directions to pharmacies, etc.
Smooth, professional and fast
From the very start, the whole process went smoothly, swiftly and professional. It was all arranged on very short notice, and the information provided was very clear and compact. This all made me feel confident. This didn't stop meeting professor Vogl. It was just inspiring how dedicated and professional he is! Also Waleed turned out to be much more then a translator with is extensive experience and good contacts in the hospital. Just a very pleasant guy and good support. Also the other people that helped me at BookingHealth I'm very grateful to like Nour for all the amazing quick support and answers and Kate as being the first contact. Greatly recommended.
Booking Health overall have been really good and helpful for getting me the treatment I desperately needed
Booking Health overall have been efficient with communication and bookings and found me an excellent Professor for my treatment in Germany that I couldn’t receive in the UK. I was allocated my own travel manager Hishem who was great at overseeing my travel arrangements and booking transfers to and from the airport. I also had an interpreter who met me at the hospital called Afsaneh and she went above and beyond to make my appointment with the Professor happen with ease. She is friendly and very kind and made me feel at ease instantly she oversaw my paperwork and I hardly noticed a language barrier with the staff. She stayed with me throughout, checking at all times I was ok and comfortable. She is a true credit to Booking Health and I imagine a very valued member of staff.
Professor Vogl is overseeing and treating me for TACe treatments he is at the very top of his field and as I have spoken to others in the medical profession he is very renowned for what he does. He speaks very good English. I had two treatments with Professor Vogl through Booking Health and my tumours are reducing and reacting really well to the treatment I have had. I am extremely pleased with the success and may it continue.
So why 4 stars? The only thing that has let it down and can be easily rectified is the transfer from the airport to the accommodation. The transfer company don’t use a sign board with Booking Health on or your name. So a guessing game when you come through arrivals. Both arrivals I’ve had, they’ve not been there and I’ve had to wait around a long time. Which is very frustrating as I have to take two flights from Bristol as they don’t do direct to Frankfurt, so you just want to get to your final destination. Like I said this is something easily rectified by Booking Health to make it a 5* experience.
Treatment was good from the Clinic
Treatment was good from the Clinic, but bookinghealth charged us over DOUBLE the price of the medical procedures. They then refused to give us an accounting of the expenditure, which means we could not claim on our insurance. Very dishonest and illegal. I suppose if you can afford to pay €22,500 for a procedure that actually costs ¢9000, then go ahead.
Rate my experience
Dear,
I would like to share my exceptional experience with Booking Health. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. med. Their combined efforts made my healthcare journey smooth and successful.

Very helpful - great experience
They were very helpful and everything was according to plan. We got great service from the team and detailed report afterwards.
Misleading and Disappointing Experience with Stem Cell Therapy for MS through Bookinghealth.com
Hello,
At the end of last year, my 20-year-old sister was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). Given the limited treatment options available and the lack of a cure, I began researching alternative therapies online. My search led me to stem cell therapy, which has shown potential in regenerating damaged nerves and improving overall patient outcomes. I discovered a private hospital in Germany offering this treatment for MS patients through Bookinghealth.com. After contacting them, an agent from Bookinghealth.com provided detailed information about the treatment process. Despite the high cost, I decided to proceed in the hope of improving my sister's quality of life. For context, I live in Europe as a student.
Bookinghealth.com provided a comprehensive program description in PDF that outlined the medical services included in the treatment. The program mentioned the following: an initial presentation at the clinic, including a clinical history, physical examination, and a review of medical records; extensive laboratory tests covering a complete blood count, urine analysis, biochemical blood analysis, tumor markers, inflammation indicators, antibodies for HIV and hepatitis (B, C, D), and blood coagulation indicators. The core of the treatment involved stimulation therapy to increase stem cell numbers, stem cell collection using intravenous anesthesia, and the reimplantation of these stem cells. The program also included body fluid management, post-reimplantation patient observation, symptomatic treatment, control examinations, essential medicines and materials, nursing services, and future care recommendations. We believed the program was well-coordinated and worth the price. Unfortunately, what we received was far from what was initially promised.
We paid the full amount via international transaction to Bookinghealth.com. After the payment, Bookinghealth.com appointed a new "travel agent" for us who contacted me via WhatsApp. We needed to apply for a German visa since we live in a third-world country. The agent recommended a maximum of three people and suggested applying for a 5-day visa to ensure success. However, my parents were skeptical, as only five days were not enough to evaluate the aftermath of the treatment and ensure my sister’s stability. Since my sister was diagnosed with MS, she has taken it hard, and her attitude and overall personality have changed significantly in just a few months. So, my family wanted to make this trip a memorable family experience to cheer her up and provide motivation and good memories. However, when I told the travel agent we wanted to apply as a whole family and explained why, the travel agent became increasingly frustrated and disrespectful, asking questions like "Do you not care about your sister receiving the treatment? Why don’t you think about your sister? What is the original purpose of going to Germany?" Her attitude made me very angry and stressed. Despite the unpleasant interaction, we proceeded with the agent’s suggestion, as I just wanted my sister to receive the best treatment and avoid making a scene. In hindsight, it seemed they were just after our money.
Upon our arrival in Germany, a chauffeur from Bookinghealth.com met us at the airport, dropped us at our hotel, and left. We did some sightseeing, and on the day of the hospital visit, we expected the full range of medical services described in the official program. Unfortunately, there was no physical examination, no review of medical records, no urine analysis, no tumor markers, no complete blood count, no indicators of inflammation—only a blood test, which we had to request and pay extra for. Despite having sent my sister’s previous tests and MRI scans to the agents beforehand, the hospital had not received them on the day of the procedure. This lack of preparation meant the doctors were unaware of my sister's current medical state but proceeded with the therapy anyway. When I confronted the travel agent about the missing services and documents, she insisted they had fulfilled their promises and spoke to me in a cutting and dismissive manner. Our decision to proceed was based on the detailed medical program provided by Bookinghealth.com, but the actual treatment fell far short of what was promised. The agent’s attitude was horrendous and added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. I filed a complaint about the travel agent to Bookinghealth.com, but it is ultimately the fault of Bookinghealth.com for providing misinformation. If we had known the actual procedure of the program, we wouldn’t have come for this treatment. I am beyond disappointed with Bookinghealth.com.
Thank you for reading my experience with Bookinghealth.
Great medical experience
Extremely satisfied with Booking Health team and their abilities to offer:
- high-quality medical solutions
- well-suited treatment plans tailored to my needs and preferences
- full support both inside and outside the clinic
- seamless communication throughout the process
- great care for travel arrangements
Everything went smooth from the beginning. Monica, my dedicated case manager, handled the application process with grace. She is an exceptional communicator, paying great attention to every detail and addressing all my questions (medical and organizational).
Nour promptly took over the arrangements for my trip and provided amazing support during my treatment in Germany, making sure everything is going on perfectly. Special thanks to Aksana and Mrs Claudia who played a crucial role in making everything stress-free in the hospital.
Everything went excellent and I am incredibly grateful for that, so a big thank you from my heart to all the BookingHealth team for their exceptional care and support they offered me. I wish you all the best!
