It is a Scam business.

bookpublishing.ie have at least five different Irish websites and a Dublin phone number but they are not an Irish company. It is impossible to get any definitive information on their business address or even what country they are headquartered in. They spent weeks stalling and attempting to convince me to sign up for more services while not providing the service I paid for. I had to put a lot of pressure on them to get them to edit my manuscript after five weeks of pretending to be working on it. I moved my account to BookFuel but they refused to reimburse me any of the fee even though the contract was not fulfilled. I initiated a chargeback on week five but when I agreed to give them more time it was automatically cancelled and cannot be resubmitted. They had planned for this and deliberately left me in a powerless position regarding a refund or reimbursement. They take advantage of people who care about their own work. They hid their location by only contacting me through WhatsApp, Zoom, and email. They are not based in Dublin and their listed phone number is used on various other sites and it is also posted on forums. They lie, pretend, and stall, while quietly working to disqualify you from your legal rights as a consumer. I tried to accommodate them and offered to allow them to substitute some of the elements in my contract for other services but they refused. They said I wasn't entitled to a refund as they claimed I had a "change of mind." I was dealing with Sophie and Sam Carter but these are obviously not their real names. Nothing this company says is true, and they are impossible to track down or lodge a complaint or consumer claim against. if you care about your money or your book - do not work with bookpublishing.ie They are the worst experience I have ever had with any business and I cannot understand how they are allowed to operate. Both EU and Irish consumer laws are not equipped to deal with companies like this who do not even seem to have a legitimate address

Aug 27, 2025: I paid $450 via PayPal (funded by Citibank card ending in ••••3627).

Aug 30, 2025: I cancelled and requested a refund.

Refund notice (Case ID: 000168493) incorrectly listed “Pamela J. Kvande” as payee. PayPal has no record of (Case ID: 000168493.

Refund was misapplied to my PayPal account instead of the original Citibank card.

As of Nov 11, 2025, no refund has been received.

Company repeatedly assured me by phone/email, even suggesting I visit their office for a check.

Consumer Protection Concerns
Transparency: Authors may think they’re dealing with different companies when it’s the same operation.

Complaint Dilution: Reviews and legal filings are scattered across names/locations.

Legal Complexity: Consumers must research multiple registries to file complaints.

I ask the Colorado and Atlanta Attorney General’s Office to investigate Book Publishing Partner LLC for:

Identity fragmentation
Rotating addresses
Refund misrepresentation

Their practices undermine consumer trust and violate fair business standards.
