Avoid. I booked a gaming party for my son at the Curzon Victoria. There was a technical hitch which they tried to blame on our Switch. We proved that to be incorrect after a long time of them blaming us, my partner even went to buy a new Switch. They offered a refund and we took the disappointed children home. But then NO refund has come. I have emailed Book The Cinema on their web contact form repeatedly, no reply. There is no phone number. Eventually I did a deep dive and found their parent company UniqueX and called them, I got hold of someone in the technical team eventually, but he had no idea what to do. Appalling.

We had a fantastic 8th birthday party celebration at the Curzon Kingston with Book the Cinema. My son and his friends had a brilliant time watching Lightyear and having pizza and cake afterwards. It was easy to set up the celebration video and there were many film options to choose from. Their Customer Services were excellent responding to my queries and solving a glitch with the food order. It is very convenient that you can add guests and amend food orders up to 4 days before the event. The venue was great and the staff were really helpful on the day.

Easy online booking, cinema we chose was amazingly accommodating.

Brilliant experience for my husbands birthday. My only gripe is that he couldn’t online game which he wanted to do but downloaded his games before he attended. Really unique experience for a special occasion and we will definitely book again. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The missing star is only really because it’s quite an expensive option. We loved it though. Booked an Odeon local to us so we were allowed to take our own party bags and snacks. Booking and uploading a personal video were both easy to do. The cinema staff were expecting us on the day and were lovely and really helpful. I would recommend Book the Cinema. We used them for a movie party but you can also book gaming sessions.

We booked a"book the cinema" experience for our son's 10th birthday and really can't recommend it enough - it was absolutely superb. The booking is super easy to do and such a wide range of old and newer films. We chose Big Hero 6 because the boys loved the film but didn't get to see it in full "cinema experience" because they were too young when it came out.
Loved the personalised message option too - we could easily add a mini movie at the start to say happy birthday and make it a really VIP day.
We also want to say an enormous thankyou to the team at Rochdale Odeon who honestly made it such a special event for us by their kindness, attention to detail and their thoughtfulness. Superb experience - one if those days we will never forget. Thankyou
