The boost collective model for promotion is really good and sustainable if you have the level of coin for it in the modern day. Sometimes the curation process can be finicky because of how a song may... See more

AVOID THIS COMPANY

AVOID THIS COMPANY! I have used several other providers in the past and had never had a bad experience. I purchased the Bronze package that estimates 500-1.5K streams. 3 weeks went by and after my dashboard said I had been added to 3 playlists, only one had a tiny amount of streams. After contacting customer service I was told that they were still trying to add my music to playlists. After a month had gone by there was still little change and I had just a tiny amount of streams. I was then told I would be given an extra months campaign for free as they acknowledged the amount of streams I had received were minimal. I then had funds debited from my bank account for a further subscription and had to contact them again for a refund. They agreed to the refund but told me that I had clicked the option for a further subscription. Which I definitely hadn't (be careful of this when you sign up!). Weeks went by and they added me to 2 more playlists both of which provided minimal streams, and like the other playlists, they strangely dropped off the radar. I continued to receive advice that they were trying to add me to more playlists but nothing came of it. I ended up with just 334 streams from their bot looking playlists. Several email exchanges later they told me that they could not do much more and the estimates they provide are not guaranteed and sometimes it is just due to the quality of the songs, which I found insulting as other providers in the past had always managed to get me on top playlists that provided thousands of my streams. Even if this was the case, they were happy to take my money straight away and this is totally different to what they advertise on social media! It took them several weeks of excuses to then mention this. It would have been more honest of them to admit that they are weak in certain genres. Despite several requests for contact details of their complaints department, they continue to ignore me. Their adverts on social media are laughable and are completely the opposite to what they actually deliver. The comments / responses on their social media adverts appear AI like. Rest assured I will be reporting them to their industry regulators in Canada as this appears to be an elaborate scam that exploits musicians.

Lackluster results and poor customer service

I paid Boost Collective for a campaign to add my music to playlist to increase song recognition. My song was added towards the end playlists with 800 other songs. It received very few plays. I sent an email on 1/9/26 to cancel my subscription since there was no cancellation feature on the website. I was charged a week later for a continuing campaign. I continued to email them and they continued to try and upsell their services with another campaign when I simply wanted to cancel and have the renewal fees refunded. It was as if they didn't read the emails I sent. It was extremely frustrating. The results were as poor as their customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Hi Mark,

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way.

For clarity, your support tickets were responded to each time they were submitted. Your cancellation request was processed, and the renewal charge you referenced was refunded in accordance with your request.

At no point were your emails ignored, and upsell messaging was not a substitute for addressing your cancellation request. Your account actions were handled directly based on what you asked for.

Regarding playlist placement, our campaigns focus on achieving stream targets across our network. We do not guarantee specific playlist positions, sustained listener growth, or long-term audience conversion, as those outcomes depend on a range of factors including release cadence, catalog depth, and audience retention.

We genuinely wish you the best with your music moving forward.

So far, so good!

I’ve had a good experience so far with boost collective. They are doing what they said they would- my songs are being placed on playlists of varying sizes and it took 4 days for placements to start. I’m seeing an uptick in streams, so I’m happy at this point!
