One star, as I cannot leave a worse review. Ordered a pair to see if it would improve my running time, fitted them under my existing insoles, wore them around the house, but could feel how much everything moved, so removed them and requested a return address sent them back to China at £11.00 postage and have had no refund thet is 3 months ago £45 out of pocket not impresed do not deal with this company

Soles tore my boots ,no help

I got a pair of boost steps waited over 2 weeks to get them put them in my football boots and the carbon fibre soles tore my boots so emailed boost steps 3 times about the issue not herd a single thing back really really bad customer service

Wish I had read these reviews!

Wish I had read these reviews!! Ordered carbon insoles 12th April followed all the tracking. Got a message to say Undeliverable from Amazon yesterday. Checked with Amazon, not even a Genuine Amazon tracking number. Contacted Boosteps for a refund still waiting for a reply.
Seems like a Scam, so I would advise to avoid.

Total debacle

First of all no mention when you buy that the company is in China. It took more than 3 weeks to arrive. I had ordered size 3.5 for my 10 years all son. What arrived is a very thin carbon fiber plate less than 12 cm long (toddler size at best). I also ordered the memory foam (as a combo) and those would only fit an adult. Not a serious company. Asked for a refund. Stay clear.

Could be a good product, but is not.

Something needs to be adapted with this product. They are thin carbon fibre sheets, cut to a rough outline of a foot. I purchased these for my 14yr old daughter to try out. At first she said they seemed to improve acceleration, but this was maybe a placebo effect, as her football sensors, said otherwise. The bigger issue, is that the inserts have sliced though her £260 puma ultra's in just 8 matches. Maybe there's a way of "softening" the edges??. There's obviously an issue, as mine is not the first review to comment on the slicing.

I Can only give this company 1 star. I've emailed twice with no response. the delivery driver left my package outside so guess what happen it got stolen. I've email to get to the top of this but guess what they don't respond. the product could be amazing but i guess ill never know

Ruined my football boots. Best avoided.

Ordered a pair the same size as my football boots, they fit well enough.

After a week and a half of wearing them, the carbon plate has sliced through the front of my right boot.

On top of that, the carbon grinds on the baseplate of the boots and covers everything in a fine carbon dust.

All this for no perceived benefit.

Would not recommend.

Broke after wearing them twice

Quite literally broke. I had worn them with my football boots twice (order came 17th March) and there is a large crack in the inside-foot side of both of the carbon insoles. I'd worn them underneath the boots' insoles. Feels like a waste of money to be conpletely honest. Cant say i'll be re-ordering

No delivery, no communication. Scam!

I ordered the carbon insoles with the memory foam 1 week ago and still have not received any communication regarding delivery.

I have checked the delivery tracker and they still have not been shipped, after 1 week! Yet they claim to be sending via 'Fast Shipping' with Royal Mail.

I have reached out to them using their info @ booststeps.com address and also their contact us page on their website, yet have been completely ignored twice.

Terrible customer service and clearly a scam company.

I will be pursuing chargeback via my credit card company!

Their insoles caused Plantar Fascitis & they haven't refunded me

**update 25 Feb**

The pain I've been experiencing since wearing these insoles has been confirmed as Plantar Fascitis.

On top of that, despite them promising to refund me if I sent the product back to them, the insoles were delivered to them 11 Feb and no refund has been received and they're not replying to emails.

Avoid this company!

**Update: Just to be clear, I did wear the product correctly, I'm a qualified running coach and Personal trainer so I'm very capable of reading instructions on a packet; the carbon fibre inserts were underneath the insoles of my trainers. My trainers are high quality Altra running shoes with a high level of cushioning and I regularly run 15km on training runs so I am fit and healthy.

You did respond very quickly to my email so I've given you another star, but when you say you gave me the opportunity to try your insoles, you actually sent me the link to buy the insoles, an additional cost I was not willing to take. If a customer makes you aware your product has injured them, I would have expected them to make more of an effort to allay their concerns by offering to try them free of charge. I still have heel and Achilles pain one week on and have had to take a break from running so the product clearly isn't a quick, cheap fix for the more expensive carbon fibre trainers.

I'm now going through the process of returning the items to China in a tracked delivery at my own cost (c. £9). If the refund is processed quickly, then at least others can try the product and be confident they can get a refund if they have the same issues as me. I shall update on this in due course.

End update**

I bought the carbon fibre insoles and found they aren't fit for purpose. They sit on top of all the nice cushioned foam of your trainers with just the trainers insoles on top as cushioning so it's like rujnning on a solid piefce of carbon fibre, and all that money you spend on nicely cushioned trainers is wasted by using these inserts. They may make you run faster but after just a couple of miles, my feet were very sore and I had to take them out. 24 hours later and I can barely walk because of the pain they've caused... do not buy a pair if you value the health of your feet!

I'm currently waiting for a reply on whether they'll honour the 100% money back guarantee.

First impressions

First time purchasing from boost steps. I was surprised at the quick delivery, they come packaged well. When I opened them to put them into my son’s boots, I noticed a mark on one of the soles.

I contacted them via email over the Christmas period thinking I wouldn’t hear a response but I was wrong. They emailed straight away apologising and stated they would sort it out. Their customer service was amazing very quickly and efficiently.

I am awaiting a new pair of carbon soles. Thank you so much for all your help my son loves them and has increased his speed which is the whole point of buying these.

Definitely recommending to family and friends.

Bootsteps carbon insoles…

I purchased the carbon insoles for sport but I also tried them for my work shoes and as I patrol for my job and do lots of walking I was pleasantly surprised and had a added benefit of warm feet all day at work which will save me money on buying disposable heated insoles .
I recommended the product to my work colleague's as I was so happy with the product.

Terrible company and product.

The response from the vendor does not contain correct information, I ordered a 5.5 and their site defaulted it back to size 3, I emailed straight away to tell them and verify the size required and had no response, then days later I received a dispatch confirmation size 3 arrived and after countless attempts to contact them I finally recieved an email saying that whether received my email they had already been dispatched and it was too late and they would give me a 15% discount if I wanted to reorder.
Their customer service is shocking as they either take an eternity to respond or they don't and irrespective the product is complete garbage so avoid and save yourself the disappointment.

Most certainly a Scam.

Most certainly a Scam.
I made my order but the status does not change even if I paid for fast delivery. There is no reply to the emails either and the tracking system does not change either.
I have checked the legal part on the website and the company name is not there ( just the brand), no phone number either ( by law it should be).
They mention they are in London but apparently the contract is until Italian Law.
I think I have lost the 49 pounds I have spent.
