We bought bora x Pure and it is best kitchen appliance we bought for our kitchen. money well invested
We had our high-end kitchen installed in May 2024, the recommendation was to install a Bora induction hob with a center extraction.
From the start, we complained about how easily the hob scratches, even though we were careful about how it was being treated.
The control doesn't always respond, and it is frustrating to keep touching with no response.
The induction is intermittent, one day a pan works and the next day it doesn't.
A ticket (No. 3407640) was created by Bora on 17/02/2025, asking for info and videos, which was submitted, and to date we don't have a response on the complaints.
We would have expected much more from a hob at the price and a top international brand.

I had my Bora M pure for about 2 months now and I love it. Easy to use, easy to clean, very stylish with flush fitting and recirculating exhaust. It is worth every penny and hope it goes a long way.
We have used the BORA X Pure for 6 months now. It’s a great product! Would buy it again. Don’t forget to buy the “double pan” KWGPFI also. Genius gear in the kitchen
Had our BORA X Pure since summer, have to say we're disappointed. Often the kitchen still smells the next morning despite cooking with the extraction on full. The controls don't always respond well and the glass has scratched really easily. Wouldn't buy another or recommend. Tom Howley assured us we would be happy...

Very disappointed with our induction hob the X Pure. We’ve had it installed since July and within a month it was super scratched even though we’re really careful with it, the extraction is mediocre at best, the kitchen still stinks! The controls are very un responsive and not intuitive at all, I’ve often had to resort to turning the whole thing off as can’t get one ring area to turn down! Overall disappointing, don’t believe the fancy video, looks nice but doesn’t perform well.

Bought an M pure and had it installed 6 weeks ago. Hairline cracks (not scratches) appeared in the glass around the edges, not on the cooking area, and not in an area where I had put pans. I’ve been super careful with it and was dismayed to see those cracks appear. Spoke to customer service and sent pics and told that glass not covered under warranty, that it doesn’t just crack, and nothing they can do. Gutted, as spent ages deliberating on whether to spend the money on one of these. Would not buy again if I could go back and change my mind. Wouldnt recommend.
Further to their reply, it is NOT an issue with cleaning. The cracks appeared during the day on a part of the glass that had not been used. I hadn’t used that entire side of the glass surface for a couple of days. I know they weren’t there before as I took very good care of the glass and cleaned it exactly as they recommend on their website. There is no point contacting them to be patronised on cleaning tips. Don’t buy Bora.

[2025 January 24: As you can see below, they also accept the situation. As of now, i sent an email to their support addresses 11 days ago, I'm trying to explain my problem to someone, I called Austria with phones. (It's not free as they say, I paid for these calls). Now they say "service order has now been forwarded to our partner" as a response. And No one is calling or asking.
As of today, I don't know what's going on with my complaint for 11 days, I'm waiting like this. no one responds to my emails either.
You know what, I don't even care anymore. I learned my lesson. I will throw this BORA in the trash, buy another Hob from a reliable brand. And for the rest of my life, I will share this experience at every opportunity. That's it.]
I've learned a painful lesson that I feel compelled to share as a warning to others.
We unfortunately purchased a BORA Pure Induction Hob with integrated extractor, which has presented three significant technical issues: intermittent functionality problems, filter replacement difficulties, and surface scratching.
When I attempted to contact BORA officials to resolve these issues, I made a startling discovery: they have no physical presence here. Their only point of contact is a web form on their website. After submitting my detailed problem description, I had to wait three days before receiving a call from Bavaria, Germany. The representative, speaking non-native English, simply informed me that nothing could be done.
While BORA excels at selling luxury products worth thousands of pounds in the UK, their after-sales support is virtually non-existent. This is easily verifiable - try to find a UK technical support number; you won't, because there isn't one. They attempt to manage all support from Austria. There's no technical engineer available for on-site inspections or assessments, even if you're willing to pay. Your only options are a support email and an Austrian phone number.
My experience leads me to strongly advise: before investing in expensive appliances, thoroughly investigate the company's local presence and support infrastructure in your country.
Now I'm left trying to come to terms with my £2,500 investment in a BORA induction hob that, in less than a year, has developed spontaneous cracks, works sporadically, and has ongoing filter issues. This is more than a malfunction - it's a lesson in the importance of researching after-sales support before making significant purchases.

Our Puru hob worked for four days and then stopped and have now been waiting over a week for Bora to get in touch and in the meantime I have no cooking facilities.
Dreadful customer service on an item that cost over £2500.
Not a good start

Very helpful representative to clarify on my BORA hob warranty registration.
A whole new experience to cook with.
Still finding out what all the possibilities are but that's gonna be just fine!
Inscription de la prolongation de garantie très facile. Ma plaque à induction Bora est parfaite
I gave his product only one star because of the extraction quality. Otherwise it has been temperamental from the start. I had to get rid of my good pots and pans because this hob didn’t recognise them even though they worked perfectly well on my other induction hob. I kept changing pots and pans to suit this hob. Also the heating quality is very low. It takes ages to boil an egg for instance. Then 4 years after using only one side of it, since we are only 2 people and don’t cook much on it, and despite being extremely fussy about keeping my appliances in good shape, the hob went mad. Started turning itself on and off, beeping with error messages, etc. suddenly I was left without a hob. I contacted BORA Germany. They told me that the software needed to be updated. They instructed me on that but I couldn’t trust myself for doing it right so I asked for a service to come and do it. They contacted a service in London and the service sent me an invoice of £957 first. Unless you pay it, they wouldn’t come. I had to pay it. Imagine paying so much every few years for a product that was very expensive to start with any way and that expensive product fails you in 4 years despite not being used much. I am appalled!!! Stay away!!

Really pleased with the ease of use and performance of the Classic 2.0 hob, I even purchased one for my Holiday villa.
So happy not to have the traditional kitchen hood!!
