Very relaxing and comfortable to prepare my food on the Bora. The extraction also works very well and makes less noise than a normal extractor hood.
It’s a great cooktop with many functionality, albeit not obvious without reading the instruction manual.
However, I couldn’t put my hand on heart and give it five stars and as the induction cooktop was just so easy to scratch!! I must have diamond dust floating around at home. We had a bit scratch on the cooktop the first time we used it, now, we are in new house and cook very gentle, so having a scratch on first use was a total surprise to us. We advised BORA of this issue and they basically told me that even though it’s as tough as diamond, condiments can still scratch it…? And they also blamed it on our pans and pots, which we’ve used for more than 10 years at the old house and the cooktop basically looked brand new with far less scratches than BORA after a month of use.
If you don’t like scratches, you’d best to stay away from their cooktop.
Great product which i have seen with friends of ours.
We always wanted one on our new kitchen and now we have one. It looks so easy and even my wife gotit right away.
Although our Bora was installed recently, it does (so far) exactly what we expected in the first place. Easy to handle and easy to clean. Above that, its beautiful design fits perfectly in our kitchen. Happy with our Bora
A piece of art in de kitchen. The shiny, glossy black surface is easy to clean but after that you always notice a couple of stripes, that's what happens on black, shiny surfaces.
It does it's job perfectly, happy days!
But my fingers find it hard to press the Bora on.
And what sucks is that the timer switches off, if you lower (or increase) the power. It should stay on.
And when you switch off totally , it still working ,
Since having our Bora hob fitted it has transformed our kitchen. The ease of cooking and cleaning this appliance makes it all worthwhile. The extractor is fantastic and all of the controls are so simple to use. I have not stopped recommending this to people since having it fitted.
Great product, easy to use, silent ventilation, we like it !
Awesome product! Quality is superb with best looks compared to all other brands.
Professional 3.0 Tepan and Induction hob work like magic.
Only bad thing I can think of is that installation of our new kitchen came too early and didn't get the opportunity to get the new Bora Oven.
We’re using a Bora pure X since a week now. Still was sceptisch about the center vent system but have to say it is a near peace of art.
Couldn’t be happier!
Good: performance, suction, handling
To be improved: noise suction, indication cooking zones
Tip: due to reduction energy a DC motor was preferred. However, only AC motors available.
We so much regret we have chosen Bora. A product that is extremely user unfriendly and limitlessly annoying that it switched to ‘child protect’ for no reason and at times impossible to get out of that mode. This has been designed by a tech nerd iso a designer. I wish I could replace it all. Never again!

We had the Bora Pure hob installed and immediately it was making a high pitched noise. It took Bora 10 days to agree to an engineer coming out to look at it. They kept insisting the problem was with the pans we were using. The shop we purchased it from had been to look at it and agreed it wasn't the pans. It then took 4 weeks for an engineer to visit. Within 1 minute he said there were several problems with the hob and replaced every part other than the glass top. I have to say the engineer form JEZ was excellent. This is a pitiful customer service from Bora, I expect much better after paying so much for the hob. I really couldn't recommend buying a Bora hob with such poor customer service.

Being an Architect and always striving for the next cool product, I have tried to implement the new Bora Pro 3 and XBO-Oven in an high class object for the first time.
What should I say - I should have sticked with Miele like all the years before. This must be the worst company in kitchen devices known to men.
The devices are somewhat awkward to use, the user experience and user interfaces are politely said - complicated and not suitable for professional use (what PRO makes you assume). You cannot even make the smallest things work out for good (eg. time sounds to be louder than the jet engine of an air blower that is built in). Even the customer service is massively overburdened with simple questions as well as the people in the flagship store, which forward you to Youtube-Videos during a live presentation of their own products!
But if that isn't enough, get the XBO - the new oven perfection for roughly 7000 EUR.
The first device I got leaked that massively during its 4 hour cleaning process (4 hours!!), that it had to be replaced, which took some weeks due to delivery problems.
The second device came broken straight from the factory, so they left me without any oven so far, as the old one (which at least could make something warm) was already gone before they checked the new one.
So I need a third device, delivery date unknown and have to live with a half completed kitchen for now.
That said - the people from the service team are very polite, but they seem pretty unhappy with their company as well and thus all this doesn't shine any good light on BORA.
So my recommendation if you want any high profile kitchen appliances - stick with the known ones like Miele. The same price (or even cheaper) and way, WAY better quality and usability.
One last thing that is symptomatic for BORA - there isn't even an APP for the new XBO-System. They said it would come in 6-7 months from now, but who is starting a new super shiny product line with a real tablet computer in it and doesn't even offer an APP in 2023? They don't even get their own QR-Codes in the UI correctly (eg. recipes), maybe an APP is too hard to complete then. It is really sad....

Absolutely LOVE our Bora Hob. We have a large open plan kitchen and didn’t what a large overhead extractor ruining the aesthetic… the BORA is super slimline and looks fab in our island. The extractor is very good and removes smells even in a big room. Would def buy another one is we moved home, they are an investment but worth every penny.
We bought a Bora X Pure as it was highly recommended by our interior designer, but unfortunately we were quite disappointed by this product. Don't get me wrong, the hob generally works fine, but not nearly well enough for something in this price range.
The controls are good enough if you haven't tried Neff before, but they are just not as responsive as the twistpad knob, and feel lower quality (e.g. annoying electronic BEEP when you turn the hob on/off, vs pleasant chimes on the Neff), and they scream bloody murder if you just happen to leave something on them for a few seconds.
What really put us off this hob is that it claims to support pots from 12cm in diameter, but this is simply untrue. We bought high-quality 12, 14 and 16 cm pots from multiple retailers and most of them just fail to be recognized by the hob. One sort of workaround is placing two of them close enough to be "felt" by the hob, once that happens cooking can continue with a single pot (until the power setting is changed, that is). Note that all these pots have the "induction" area on their base measuring 12cm or more as Bora claims to support. If you want to use the hob for a hot chocolate or tea you'll have to try your luck several times to find a pot that actually works with this hob.
We contacted Bora support and while helpful they said that this is how the hob was designed, and even if they replaced it the new one would have exactly the same problem. We had Neff flexinduction hobs for many years and this had never been a problem before, even with far smaller pots.
On the bright side, the extractor fan that we barely use is powerful and does a good job at removing fumes and smells.
I honestly wished we hadn't listened to the advice from the interior designer, and we will most likely sell this hob and just buy a Neff instead (losing 1000s of euros in the process)
Love our Bora hob, the extraction is amazing and using the Flexi cooking zones makes it very easy to cook multiple dishes at the same time.
