Got the luma 16 incubator from borotto. It worked for 2 years, 2 batches a year.

The 3rd year the fan died, I replaced it. Exact same brand of fan, exact same spec.

Then half way through the next incubation. The temp sensor became defective. 5 degrees c lower. (See below for update)

I let them know, of the issues on the unit. They replied polittely that since I changed the fan waranty was void. (I was not aware it was still under warranty after 2 years).
And they assured me they have a great reputation.

2 failures after 2 years.

(Update) after this review I was recontacted by borotto, they asked for a pic of the fan. They came back telling me the fan was upside down. After the fix I did a successful batch.
All good now.

Incubator was not working when it arrived! Borotto insisted that everything was fine ! Customer service does not answer emails and are very rude on telephone.I purchased the 56 ex i have now lost 160 eggs because incubator does not give correct temperature.There is still one year garantee but will not help.
