Don’t buy here anything. They are scammers. You order something and they send you a cheap dollar ugly owl necklace. Paypal protection is a scam, they won’t get you your money back. Only solution is to send it back which will cost you even more.

PS: after I contacted paypal through facebook and explained what happened, they refunded the amount. They also said, when they receive more complaints about this company they will block them. So do complain and report them to paypal!

I also fell for the “bait and switch” scam receiving an owl necklace. I emailed them to no avail and only got a response when i contacted them through PayPal. They offered a 40% refund if I keep the necklace. I googled their name and came across this site. I too escalated through PayPal thinking they would hell, but they simply updated the status of my claim to “item sent significantly different” meaning PayPal won’t refund me unless I pay to send the crap back to China with tracking (costing more than what was paid). The address they have provided doesn’t come up on google - so I fear it will never be received and I will be out of pocket twice as much. I tried calling PayPal and after 30mins spoke to a human who was to transfer me to whoever was “managing my case” but after another 15 mins on hold I needed to hang up to go to work.

I have phoned my Babb directly to see if they could reverse the charges but as I seemed to have used a direct debit from my bank and not via my VISA credit card there was nothing they could do.

If you paid with a credit card - phone your bank!

I think I am all of options here in seeing my funds returned. Very frustrated that PayPal aren’t helping and no doubt profiting from this fraud!

SCAMMED!!! I too ordered a cat scratch post and got an owl necklace. Stupidly sent it back and have heard nothing. I’m out of pocket $50 usd. They need to be shut down. So angry that they would do this and I fell for it. Merry Christmas 🤬

Cat scratcher - ugly owl necklace. Have a paypal claim opened for weeks now and still unresolved. I had opened a case with Australia Post and accused them of lying because I was told it was placed in my letterbox. Embarrassed. THEY explained to me that Borrent had classed my package as ‘letter’ so at least I may have some recourse when PayPal eventually tell me I need to pay to send it back. I only saw these reviews yesterday and immediately disputed the transaction with my bank. I’m not waiting around for PayPal....

Embarrassed to say I fell for it too. Ordered a drum, never got anything. I sent emails, no response. I got scammed by another company too and Paypal refunded that money, but for this one, after reading these reviews, I went straight to my credit card company and filed the dispute with them. They said the credit would be on my card within 10 days. It wasn't a lot of money, only about $27 but I need that money more than some f'ing scammer in China.

Same here. Ordered a Cactus Tree got an Owl Neckalace...

OK EVERYONE, regarding to the cactus tree (or whatever you bought), I got my money back after explaining to Paypal what happened with the bloody cactus-tree, but if you made an order DO NOT ACCEPT THE PARCEL when it arrives. This way you CAN prove you aren't keeping it (the tracking number will get updated), the post office will send it back to the scammers' fake address (it's not a real address anyway), you aren't paying any extra money for the shipping, and the scammers can't claim you have to send it back in order to get a refund (the tracking number proves it's on its way back). SCAM! I too got a cheap crappy owl necklace instead of a cat tree and paypal refuses to help as I was sent a tracking number. Buyer beware I guess, and realize that paypal will not back you up against blatant, flagged scammers.

Do not shop here. Paid for item and did not receive it. Refuse to give refund. Do not buy anything from this store. Rip off

Just got my owl necklace today! One is patriotic. The other is plain! Hope my cats enjoy wearing them.

You guys guessed it..received the ugly owl watch necklace instead of the cat scratcher! This place is a joke..and to top it off shortly after purchasing at this store, my accounts were hacked. No idea who did it but I'm guessing probably them. Supposedly I'm getting 60% of my refund, not holding my breath on that though. I definitely learned my lesson.

About 2 months ago,I also ordered a cactus cat scratch frame and they sent me an owl necklace! When I contacted them about Their mistake,they refused to pay return shipping and offered me a % of my refund if I sent back the necklace at my expense,which would cost me $15 !!I got PayPal involved and even though they agreed with me that I shouldn’t have to pay for shipping,they ended up offering me a refund after contacting the company only if I shipped back the necklace at my expense!! Needless to say,I didn’t send it back and am out my $24.00 Do not buy from this store,they’re scammers!!

(A friend pointed out a very good reason why PP is being a pain. PP makes their $$ from the seller... Your credit card company makes money from YOU. Go with who wants to protect their paying customer most, your CC!)

So Paypal said in dispute, I have to send package back WITH shipping at my expense... in Canada this means a cost to me of 59.73CN$ (of which Paypal would pay back up to 30US$ of if I sign up for refurn refunding) but is still, with exchange, much less than the almost 60$ I will have to fork out.

Called Visa after 2+ weeks fighting thru Paypal, their answer: your money will be on your card in 2 days, the seller can ask to have the watch returned but at THEIR expense with a prepaid return label. If you don't hear from us in 10 weeks you can get rid of the watch as your case is won!! Wow, good job VISA, BOO PAYPAL! (Paypal is making customers do the return tracked system as they admit they KNOW about Borrent store and have limited how much $$ Borrent is allowed to collect thru Paypal and PP is building a case against them thru tracking undeliverable returned items!

Total scamming Chinese company.. I ordered a "Cute Cactus Cat Climbing Frame" (a cactus shaped rope covered cat scratcher and received a really ugly necklace "Vintage Owl Watch" which btw sells on WISH for less than 3.00 and Borrent is trying to sell for almost 74.00.

I am currently in dispute with them thru Paypal and they want me to return the stupid necklace, AT MY EXPENSE!! with tracking (added expense)!! The label on the package even states for customs declaration CLOCK, not cat scratcher, so they knew they were sending something other than I ordered. They tried to offer me to keep the watch and get 60% off the purchase price (I would actually end up OWING them another 3.10USD this way for a watch I could get on Wish for 3.00 CND) or to accept a refund for 12.00USD when I paid 26.90USD total (with shipping, 19.95 before the shipping).

Total rip off artists, STAY AWAY!!

On a positive note there seems to be legit sellers on amazon.com of this scratcher and it costs about 150$-200$. I guess that is How to tell that it’s a scam. Price looks too good to be true, it probably is! Visa also said... don’t buy from pop up ads or facebook ads, they are almost always scams.

Doubt I'll ever get a refund or the item I ordered and as they're in China no way to pursue them.
