I would definitely recommend box size hugs. The service was brilliant, my box arrived one time and the contents was beautiful. The coffee sachets are so good And I absolutely adored the hair mask. I ordered some for my friends and they we’re so happy. Great Service👍

My box of treats was such a lovely surprise! Loved the content especially the eye mask and candy kittens 🥰 Just what was needed to put a smile back on my face. Thank you to my beautiful, thoughtful friend ‘Ellen’ and boxsizedhugs 😊

I have had no response to my complaint from the seller so I have no option but to give a bad review.
I ordered a Man Down Box on 5th Nov as my boyfriend was feeling low & as he is 150 miles away I thought it would be nice for him to receive something. The contents seemed perfect for him.
A pair of blue, grey & black striped socks, blue is his favourite colour.
A bar of Green and Blacks chocolate that he likes. A packet of biscuits & 2 sachets of coffee. A book on men’s mental health & 2 quote cards & a message from me.
However... the box was only dispatched on 9th & after that there was no communication. None of my emails got answered so I nearly gave up that it was going to arrive at all. Apparently the parcels are not trackable.
The parcel arrived on 13th. By this time I was on my way to see him & he was a lot happier by then.
The box actually contained a pair of pink, grey & black socks. Size unknown but small & he will probably never wear them, only 1 sachet of coffee & not 2 or the same brand as stated. The quote cards were missing & the message I sent was handwritten like a 5 year olds. It was all wrapped in PINK tissue paper. It’s as if she’d just chucked what she had in the box.
The seller states on her website that she has had experience of mental health issues so she should understand why I wanted that box there asap.
Bad service & bad presentation. Shame on you. I will not be using this service again & had I read the reviews beforehand would not have used it.

Absolutely horrendous! We placed our order on the 3rd November, got an email to say that the order was dispatched on the 7th November. Here we are a week later and still no sign of the box we ordered to cheer our friend up. The website states first class but it’s definitely not if it takes more than 3 days! I have emailed twice and sent a message on Etsy too and no response? Even though it states on the website you’ll get a response within 2 hours! Do not put these promises on your website if you cannot upkeep them! These boxes are not cheap and I expected better! Absolutely would NOT recommend!! Spend your money elsewhere if you want your friends to actually receive something!

Ordered a get well soon box for a friend to cheer her up, received an email 4 days later saying the item had been shipped it arrived 9 days later which ruined the gesture as a get well gift. Messaged them on Instagram and got a reply the next day about the delay and said it was due to royal mail delays because of covid which was just an excuse as other parcels have arrived on time and this was a very long delay.

I regularly buy from box sized hugs for my friends and for myself. The gifts are so cute and thoughtful and the service is fab! Arrives when expected and in perfect condition. Couldn’t recommend more!

Amazing service, quick, friendly and professional. I ordered some individualised boxes for nursery to say Thank You and the nursery nurses all loved them.

Hugely hugely disappointed with ‘Box sized hugs’ ordered on the 3rd and still no sign.
Got a response last week to say it was being posted first class Thursday 5th but yet again it still hasn’t arrived.
Emailed again to ask for an update with no response.
Would definitely NOT recommend.

I am still waiting for my box to arrive. Pointless now as it’s a birthday box and the recipient birthday has long passed! Emailed twice to chase this and finally got a reply blaming Royal Mail and thanking me for my patience. If it does arrive today I shall be fighting for a refund. Thank goodness I paid via PayPal! Would not recommend nor use again!

Poor customer service. purchased a week ago and still not arrived, probably filled with tat to compound my feelings as many customers have relayed back in these reviews. Plus I paid a couple of quid postage to be told it was probably late due to covid 19. All other parcels and post continue to arrive on time. Poor service poor excuse and feel let down.

Item not received, very slow emailing back and don't seem to be trying to resolve this. Would not use them .

Boxes were delivered on time but have been chasing a receipt for weeks but no one responds. I think getting a receipt is an absolute basic particularly when you need to claim expenses. Very disappointed and wouldn't use them again!

Emailed twice now asking for a refund and had no reply in 2 weeks. Would not recommend.

Really great way to cheer up my mum when she is so far away. Brightened up her day and the process was really easy!

Couldn’t recommend box sized hugs enough.
Customer service was perfect from the word go. Chloe kindly added notes in for my friends when I forgot to do this on the website. The delivery was great and of course the box is perfect. At times like these I was able to put a smile on my friends face when I can’t be with them. Can’t ask for more than that. It’s a bonus that some of the money goes to such a great charity! 10/10

I sent my best friend a box from this website during lockdown. It was delivered quickly and she absolutely loved it. I realised I forgot to add the personalised note and was able to quickly contact them and get that sorted out.
