Dont trust this company

I used Brailey Hicks expecting a reliable and organised service. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. Communication was inconsistent, paperwork took ages to be prepared, and I constantly felt like I was chasing updates rather than being kept informed.

Emails were often unanswered for long periods, and when I did get replies they were brief and didn’t give clear next steps. I felt left in the dark most of the time. Deadlines were missed, documents arrived late, and important information was not passed on when it should have been.

For a company dealing with serious financial matters, I expected efficient handling and a clear plan. Instead, I faced delays, confusion and a general lack of coordination. I had to keep requesting basic information that should have been provided from the start.

After paying a large fee, I did not feel that the service was professional or well-managed. The whole experience created more stress rather than reducing it.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm. Clients deserve better organisation, clearer communication and more proactive support.

Disappointed with the service and lack…

Disappointed with the service and lack of clear advice.

I paid a significant fee to Brailey Hicks for help with a voluntary liquidation and was told the process would be dealt with and that everything would be fine. I was not advised early on that bankruptcy was likely or recommended, and if I had been told that at the beginning, I would have gone down the voluntary bankruptcy route myself for a fraction of the cost.

Instead, after a long period of waiting, I was suddenly presented with a creditor’s bankruptcy petition and court papers. This was a complete surprise, especially after discussions that the voluntary route and fee would be supported.

The whole situation has caused me a huge amount of stress and could have been avoided if the advice had been clearer at the start. I have submitted my own voluntary bankruptcy now at my own expense, and I have raised a formal complaint about the service I received.

I feel that I did not get value for the money I paid, and I would have appreciated clearer communication and guidance earlier in the process.
