Appalling customer service - withholding my money
Ordered a tin of paint and a brush on Monday, which came to £44 including £6 delivery. Recieved an email from Royal Mail on Wednesday with a four hour delivery window that day. Waited in and it didn't arrive. Checked the tracking and it stated that the sender had not paid enough postage. Contacted the company who admitted they had not paid the appropriate postage cost. They suggested I paid the difference and they would refund me the cost. I requested a full refund instead as was not willing to sort out their mistake or waste another morning waiting in for the delivery. Astonishingly, they came back to say that I would have to wait 18 days whilst Royal Mail held the parcel, plus the days it would then take to return to the parcel to the company, before they would refund me. This problem is entirely the fault of the company and I wrote back to state that I was not happy to wait this long for a refund and requested they issued a refund immediately. And I've heard nothing from them since. They are taking my money for goods and delivery that didn't happen due to an error their end. Truly shocking customer service from Liz.
