Terrible service, defective tools
Using their services devolved into a comedy of errors. Except it was not funny at all. I shall summarise below the main problems to keep it short and relevant :
- they charged me delivery for a collection order
- £20 worth of items were not provided
- main tool was defective and it took them more than a day to provide a replacement. Apparently the delivery guy could not find my house!
- they expected me to return everything to Wolverhampton despite confirming twice that I would be able to return the stuff to the Birmingham branch, since I had made my order there for collection and return.
- they refunded a random and insufficient amount to cover the missing items from my order
- the guy at the return desk was the least helpful person, only assisting me when I prompted him, and telling me to leave once I had returned all the unused consumables and the tools (which I returned spotless and with care). I asked him how I would get my refund for the unused consumables and he said he'll sort it out later that day and the money should reach my account 3-5 working days later. He didn't even want to acknowledge and list the items I had just returned.
- the refund was never made.
- I called their customer service line 10 days later and was met with a very rude person who hung up on me after 20 seconds after struggling to enter my account number, which he asked me to read twice (the moment I finished reading out slowly my number to him, he asked "what's the number again?").
- I called the line again straight away and the new guy was the only helpful person from this company that I had come across. After a long, careful and respectful call, he sorted out the full refund accurately and promptly, with email acknowledgement of refund and returned items.
The whole experience, bar the final point, left me angry, resentful and determined never to use that company's services again.

Shame about return service...
A great service on delivery the guy was friendly and helpful, however, I returned the item myself and unfortunately the man behind the counter wouldn't assist me in lifting a really heavy vibration plate out of my car as he said there was no one to watch the counter but the shop was empty and I was off loading into the shop so not really very helpful when you offer a return service of heavy tools...
