Very helpful

Transfered booking to a branch 30 miles away and closed local branch 2 days prior to booking, when I arrived at the closed branch to collected, I phoned and all I was told was "oh, someone should have called you, just drive to Canterbury to collect your order" a near 60 mile 1.5 hour round trip, will never use this company again.

I initially ordered a turf cutter to hire online, but received an email saying they couldn’t fulfil the order in time. The next availability didn’t suit me so the cost was refunded immediately with no problems.
The next time I ordered I phoned up to make sure the cutter was available and Sam, who I spoke to, was really friendly and helpful, making the whole process nice and easy.
The guys who delivered the cutter a couple of days later were also really friendly and took the time to show me how the machinery worked, as I’d not used one before, and this made the job a piece of cake.
Overall a great experience with first class communication and service.

They didn't turn up with the machine that was hired, so the workmen I had hired could not do the job. No apology or any effort to make things right. When I cancelled the order, they just said "ok".

Easy to book with very clear options - no hidden charges. The customer service folk were extremely helpful and concerned to accommodate our requirements, both from Head Office and the local branch. The equipment was first rate. The only issue I had was with the pick up … a little more notice would have been helpful!

Friendly staff, but hire was a disaster.
Specified a Hilti wall chaser and vac unit; 08:00 on day of the job, was confronted with a hilti chaser, and some generic vac unit. First issue.
Half way thro first chase, 3kva transformer cut out. After 3rd reset, and a call to shop, returned to swap transformer. This performed the same.
Assured over phone the hire was up to the job.
Spent 90 mins wiring transformers direct into (brand new) consumer unit in an attempt to locate issue.
After a friendly, but differing in opinion as to why this was happening, phone call, returned again to pick up 5kva transformer.
No further problems wrt to chasing, chaser was Hilli remember, but vac unit was not fit for purpose.
Have used Hilti pairs before and found them excellent, the vac unit supplied threw dust everywhere.
Lost half a day and the mess was a right pain.
Lads in shop tried to meet me half way, knocking some money off, but would have much rather been given what I was told I would get, could have saved on all the running around and the mess to clean up.
Ho hum, such is life I suppose
