Communication not great
I ordered a patio cleaner from the Nottingham branch for domestic use. The product was good and person delivering was very helpful and gave a good explanation of how to use the product. However, overall communication surrounding delivery and collection of the tool was poor. Was promised that on collection two people would show up as I had a badly sprained back and was unable to help move the cleaner down the side my property to the patio (it was a 2-person job). In the end, only one person showed up and I greatly aggravated my symptoms having to lift the 54 kg cleaner a metre off the ground.

Deposit return delay
Hired a scaffold tower for one day. Paid fee and deposit. Used it for one day and called them to collect it that day. I can't get my deposit back because the branch haven't collected it from the job for 11 days. They say they are busy but it's sat in my customers back garden. If it gets stolen, then what? In the meantime, my money is not in my bank

Vgood hire of a concrete breaker that…
Vgood hire of a concrete breaker that worked v well& all I needed for the job. Brought back a hour or so over as my cars off road, rang in& did not get charged more...Loads of 1tonne dumpers& diggers etc for self build projects. Also have good tools for sale like new mains stop keys for spigots from the 1920-50s that are hard to get& are only usually in large dedicated plumbers merchants
