Breakdance offers a 14-day trial, but I haven’t been able to activate it. I entered the Pro license key, but it doesn’t upgrade. I’ve tried multiple times, including uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, yet it still remains on the free version. I even tested it on another website, but it never upgraded to Pro there either. This has been a complete waste of my time.

I recently had an issue using Breakdance plugin in WordPress and reached out to customer service. I received a response within a day, and the problem was quickly solved by following their simple, easy-to-understand instructions. Their support has definitely improved compared to my previous experience—keep up the great work!

First time since 2022, that I needed support for Breakdance Builder. Finally, the issue was a simple basic setting that I overlooked, and not related to Breakdance.

BD support replies promptly to my questions and is always helpful. I choose BD over competitors for this big reason. I love the software and their support. (Some others only send me to a page with only a few options. And I dont get immediate answers.)

The builder is robust, free of clutter and a real workhorse for someone who makes a living designing websites. More is less :-)

I switched from years of working with Undsgn Wordpress Template to Breakdance as I needed more speed, clarity and freedom building the next websites for my company. And I wanted a system that is not built 10 years ago. The learning curve was steep but manageable (Claude AI helped me figure out CSS programming). The whole workflow of Breakdance is simple, powerful and direct. When I ran into issues the folks from the support team helped me fast. Now I have a much more stable, fast and great looking website. I recommend Breakdance to everyone who want to go pro with website without overwhelming themselves with too much custom programming.

I retired after a forty-eight year career as a software developer. In the early days of my career, a few of the big companies had prompt, effective, knowledgeable support. They could usually offer an immediate fix for any issues. If they could not, they asked for documentation of the issue, investigated it, and created a fix. I haven't seen anything like that in decades, but Breakdance did exactly that. Ten stars!

I had problems installing Breakdance locally on my computer to test before I put it on the server. Their support team helped me very quickly, considering it was during the Christmas holidays. So now it's installed and working on my laptop. Now all that's left is to learn the program.

Worst support I experienced.

Standard reply is 72 hours. If you asked them on Thursday, expect to have it on Monday. If you have couple of questions, they'll be lost on the issue.

In fairness to them. they will be glad to push you to just have a refund. Maybe they see that the product is not yet 100% ready for the market.

They help very well, there is unfortunately no experience with a Motopress plugin hotel booking. The staff if Breakdance is helping a lot, and hopefully both Motopress and Breakdance have profit by this!

I'm a beginner, thinking I'd be building websites with Figma. It took me six months to get to Breakdense after struggling with various things. I hope others can experience the flexibility of Breakdense and Oxygen. I'm trying to learn Oxygen without knowing the grammar. It's challenging, but I'm confident it's the fastest way. Anyway, I consider myself fortunate to have discovered Oxygen. Thank you.

I wrote to the Breakdance Team to cancel my already processed payment & subscription due to my own neglect. I had forgotten to stop my active yearly subscription. So I reach out to the team to help me cancel & refund my purchase.

They immediately wrote back to me reassuring me that the subscription had been cancelled and they'd refund me fully to my CC.

This all is done immediately with no drama. Everything goes smoothly. Hopefully this is the benchmark for all Helpdesk and Customer Service personnel. To give real solutions for a problem.

Breakdance has been a game changer for me. I have been building websites for over 20 years, initially handcoding in html and css, but as things got more complex (responsive design, more feature packed websites) I have tried page builders, anything from Beaver builder and Divi to Bricks. I finally came across Breakdance and I love it - I think it finds the rare balance between being fun and easy to use and yet packing in some amazing advanced features. I also love the ACF integration and this has opened up a completely new market for my business. Support has been second to none - always within 24 hours and helpful and friendly. Well worth the money, I just wish they still offered a lifetime license!

I have been using various CMS platforms to build websites for many years and in WordPress I have been using “the usual popular” builder but I recently came across Breakdance and I couldn’t believe how easily and quickly I was able to build a website from scratch and using less plug-ins than normal.
Thank you Breakdance, from now on it is the only website builder I will use.

I’ve been a paying Breakdance user for over a year, and while the builder itself is powerful and well-designed, the customer support and bug handling are shockingly bad.

A critical bug has existed since April 2025 — where using Meta Box Settings Page image fields as dynamic data in the builder causes 500 errors in the editor (frontend works fine).
It’s been:
• 187+ days unresolved
• Ignored across multiple updates (now on 2.5)
• Officially logged on GitHub over a month ago

• Met with zero communication or ETA from the dev team

Emails have gone unanswered for months, social comments mentioning the issue have been deleted, and the bug continues to be brushed off as a “feature request” — despite Breakdance advertising full Meta Box compatibility and even offering a partner discount for it.

Meta Box themselves confirmed the problem lies in Breakdance’s AJAX handling before the init hook and even offered to collaborate on a fix — but Breakdance have still done nothing.

The builder itself is excellent, but what’s the point if bugs this serious are ignored for half a year and communication is non-existent?
Until this changes, I can’t recommend Breakdance to anyone building client sites or relying on professional support.
