I think they are good. Passed my first time ever funded account in the first try, also tried to request a payout and also they paid.
I think that if you do know what are you doing this prop can be alright for you.

I strongly recommend avoiding its use. They will likely find a way to disable your account and force you to pay evaluation fees again. The rules are frequently changed to ensure you don’t succeed.

Completed the challenge and completed KYC, support resolved a KYC issue fairly quickly.

DXTrade platform is pretty bad, but will see how payout experience is and trading going forward. Started with a 5k account and will likely scale if everything checks out.

Terminal-Needs alot of work not gonna lie. But hopefully the Kraken acquisition will fix that.

After tree evenings of thorough research, including contact with support, I decided not to open an account.

On paper, Breakout looks solid, but in practice everything is limited by the chosen platform, DXtrade.

Pros:

-Elite Pro 1-Step has clear conditions

-Static drawdown on Pro accounts

-No time pressure to reach profit targets

-Support (AI) is friendly and responds quickly

However, the drawbacks outweigh the positives for me:

-DXtrade is very limited and feels outdated

-No support for automated multiple take profits (TP1/TP2/TP3)
→ everything must be executed manually

-Partial exits are only possible via manual clicks

-Or by opening multiple trades, which is cumbersome due to the required calculations

-Leverage is not adjustable

-Everything is handled in lots and pips, not in USD(T)

-No bracket orders, no OCO, no advanced trade management

With multiple trades per day, you need to stay glued to the screen
→ practically unworkable for active traders

For traders who rely on multiple exits per trade or predefined TP structures, this platform is simply not usable. For me, this is an absolute dealbreaker, regardless of how good the conditions may otherwise be.

Conclusion:
Breakout has potential, but as long as they stick with DXtrade, they are leaving many serious traders behind.
If they switch to a more modern platform with full order and trade management capabilities in the future, I would reconsider. Until then, this is not an option for me.

Dislike;
while I am trying to use platform and portal via mobile browser they are way slower than PC browser version. I need to check my positions while I am not behind the PC. So maybe there would be an improvement at that part.

My orders being placed quickly during the trades
Funded period was quick when I owned.
They are reliable and can find somebody to discuss about feedbacks.

I’ve been trading with Breakout for a while now, and honestly, it’s an abusive relationship. I want to leave, but I can't, and that’s exactly how they designed it.

Let’s get the "good" out of the way, because it’s short: Daily Payouts. They actually pay. Fast. And the support team is genuinely responsive. In this shady industry, that is a massive USP, and it’s the only reason this review isn't 1 star.

Now, for the reality of actually trading here:

Breakout seems to have a corporate strategy of taking one step forward and two steps back.

The Fees are a Joke: They recently "updated" their fees to 0.04% per side (maker AND taker). They claim this is "standard market alignment," but let’s be real - in the prop space, this is astronomically high. You are actively bleeding edge on every entry and exit. While competitors are innovating with 0-fee models, Breakout is busy making it harder for you to be profitable.

"Nanny State" Leverage: If you are an experienced trader, prepare to be treated like a toddler. The leverage caps are insulting (2x on alts, really?). It feels like they just don't have the liquidity or tech to handle real volume.

The Terminal from Hell: They keep promising a rebuild into "Kraken Pro," but right now? It’s arguably the worst terminal in the game. It’s laggy, clunky, and barely functional for serious scalping.

Limited Selection: You are stuck trading the same ~50 pairs. Good luck if the action is happening elsewhere.

The Maintenance: Prepare to have your trading disabled almost every week for “maintenance” purposes for their shitty terminal.

The Verdict: Breakout is a tragedy. They have the hard part figured out (payouts and trust), but they are absolutely failing at the trading environment. It feels like a premium hotel with no running water.

If you are a low-frequency swing trader who doesn't mind getting gouged on fees and treated like a child with 2x leverage, you might like the safety of their payouts. For everyone else? Avoid. There are too many better options out there to put up with this fee structure and amateur terminal.

Good platform, easy rules to follow, they are clear on their rules, so shouldnt be confussion there, their support team answers fast, requested a payout ang got it on my account 12 hours🔥
