Dear Glenn,
Thank you for your feedback. While we regret your dissatisfaction, we must correct several inaccuracies in your review. Breiter Planet Properties operates with transparency and integrity, and your claims misrepresent the facts and omit key details.
1. Significant Investment in Your Project
Breiter Planet Properties invested substantial resources in your solar project, including the full cost of design, engineering, materials, labor, and tree removal. This was done in good faith, with the expectation that you would fulfill your contractual obligation. Despite benefiting from a fully installed and operational solar system, you have refused to pay the outstanding balance of $49,889.59, constituting a breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
2. Loan Cancellation and Unjust Enrichment
Your claim that Breiter Planet “was paid in full by the loan servicing company” ignores the unethical nature of your actions. Mosaic disbursed funds in accordance with their protocols, triggered by documented proof of installation completion. You then canceled the loan, leaving Breiter Planet uncompensated for the project while retaining the system’s benefits. Canceling the loan does not absolve you of your contractual obligation to pay the outstanding balance, as outlined in the Solar Home Improvement Agreement.
3. Permitting Allegations
Your statement that “they never pulled building permits” misrepresents the situation. Breiter Planet took steps to address permitting but encountered delays exacerbated by interference from Team Sunshine, the independent sales organization that sold your project. During this time, Team Sunshine disrupted critical operations, including licensing relationships and administrative processes. Despite these challenges, Breiter Planet completed the system’s installation within the contractual timeline.
4. Licensed Electricians and Installation Quality
Your claim that “most of the install was done without an electrician” is false. Licensed journeyman electricians and subcontractors performed critical electrical work. The system’s current operational status demonstrates the quality of the installation. While another contractor completed permitting and interconnection, Breiter Planet fulfilled its contractual obligation to complete the physical installation.
5. False Accusations of Fraud
Your accusations of fraud are baseless and defamatory. Mosaic’s payment protocols ensure contractors are compensated for installation completion and are independent of utility interconnection. These processes were followed appropriately. Your statements, including those on public platforms, misrepresent facts and harm Breiter Planet’s reputation.
Conclusion
While we understand that project challenges can lead to frustration, your review is inaccurate and unfair. Breiter Planet completed its contractual obligations despite external disruptions and significant investment. We respectfully request that you engage with us directly to resolve this matter by contacting us at Support@breiterplanet.com.
Sincerely,
Breiter Planet Properties
