Great performance, friendly local company

I've had their FTTP broadband install for almost a year now (via CityFibre) and I've had almost zero issues. Download speeds haven't dropped once and it's been stable throughout.

The WiFi coverage on the TP-Link router isn't the best, however when I spoke to them about this they offered a mesh system for a little bit extra a month which saves time and money researching the magnitude of powerline extenders out there (most of which are no good)

I would give a minus if I could

I would give a minus if I could. Our phone never worked properly which we paid for for pretty much a year and me emails were just ignored. I ended out cancelling the service and due to them not doing what was required for us to be switched over even with me calling and emailing many times we now have no Internet for 13 days. Shocking service, shocking customer service.

Dear Simon Winson, we would like to inform you that a standard transition period is required when changing service providers. This means that the current provider must release the line before the new provider can take over.

We understand that there are concerns about possible service blockages, but City Fibre has confirmed that this is not the case. According to City Fibre, this is a switching order that will complete with Briant Broadband on 2 May 2024. After that, the service will be automatically connected to the internet service provider of your choice.
According to Ofcom rules, this date cannot be changed. City Fibre has assured us that the disconnection/transition is not blocked by us. We assure you that we are coordinating with all parties involved to ensure that this process is completed as quickly as possible.

Not saying we appreciate your super…

Not saying we appreciate your super fast broadband but the Avenue will henceforth be annually enjoying a Briant Broadband day where each fibred house will be fielding a giant float on the theme of fibre broadband. We personally will be contributing a giant router made from carnations with the phrase we love BB picked out in tulips.

An excellent and professional local company.

After BT Openreach declined to install fibre broadband into our private road of 72 homes and CityFibre unable to commit, Briant Broadband came to our rescue and has now installed a private network into our road. Briant has brought us now into the 21C as previously we were unable to get over an average 10mb/s broadband speed from BT!
Almost half of the homeowners have now taken up Briant's fibre broadband service and the current feedback is that the service provision has been exemplary. Customer service has been excellent and the installation process from start to finish was faultless, with Briant managing to install the network a month ahead of schedule.
An excellent and professional local company.

Moved from BT copper

Moved from BT copper connection to BRIANT Fibre to get much better broadband at much better price
Cannot see the installation as routed out of eyesite and performance is faultless.
Couple of installation problems initially but sorted out quickly, and that is the service that separates a local efficient supplier from an uncaring national company. Highly recommended

What a breath of fresh air!

What a breath of fresh air!
Finally seen the back of corporate Sky and can't really be bothered Zen (who 6 weeks on still haven't refunded!!).
Installation done right, minor admin difficulties smoothly solved on the day, nothing paid in advance.
And the broadband.......it just works!!

Unbelievable Customer Service (in a good way).

Had an absolute nightmare with TalkTalk, who couldn’t even get me a router inside the first 2 weeks of being a customer. Cancelled in cooling off period and got straight on the phone to Briant. Installed within a fortnight - Ryan was an absolute champ, hand delivering a router and even coming back again with a mesh extender, when WiFi needed a boost in the nursery for the baby camera. Had some minor issues with connectivity when gaming, so called up and spoke to Ferdi - he’s a diabolical genius and had it all fixed and working in no time. Customer service at its best - if there were a sixth star, I’d add it. ⭐️

Brilliant service from a small local business

Cannot fault their service, diligence, and just brilliant communication. The lads did a great job, firstly installing the fibre optic connections to our block of flats, then when I found out they also provided Broadband I asked for a quote and they were so more competitive than the larger players. It feels great to support a local business. Thank you so much Briant, for your outstanding service and patience with a technophobe! I hope you continue to flourish and serve the whole of Worthing and surrounding areas!

I had City fibre visit my property…

I had City fibre visit my property yesterday to install fibre, it was extremely well executed and the guys were amazing working through the terrible weather, they were clean, tidy and very polite. Once they completed their end, i then had the simple task of plugging in my new router that was dropped off earlier in the day by one of Briant's team (again, a very nice chap!) by the time i got round to plugging the router in, it was well past the time that Briant's offices closed. I was not recieving a signal so i messaged them via Facebook expecting a response the following day, within 10 minutes i recieved a call from a very helpful representative who took me through the steps for me to then realise i hadn't connected it properly, hence why i wasnt recieving the signal. I chose Briant Broadband to provide this service to me as i previously read really postive reviews and they are also local to me, within 24 hours they qualified all of the reviews that i had read, the service and response i have received in such a very short time has been exceptional, so i would like to thank all of the team at Briant Broadband and i highly recommend their services.

Great local company

Great local company with very prompt and personal service. They use CityFibre cables which in my experience have been very reliable and always meet the speeds we pay for. The staff are very responsive and if needed you can always talk to the person who actually runs the network itself.

You can pay less with other CityFibre ISPs for essentially the same internet, but I like that Briant are local and how personal their service is. They also only do 30 rolling contracts, so if anything happens then you can always move to a different ISP without being locked in to a contract.

After leaving Virgin Media Briant are brilliant!

A network Engineer from the big ISP's review!!!

So as a network engineer from a very large company that works along the likes of BT,EE and so on. I had virgin media at my address for 18months as didn't have alot of problems with them until I came to renew my contract with them. VM wanted to throw on an extra £20 on my original contract for broadband only. So I was looking around and since I'm a lucky one to have a choice of all the ISP's including the ones I work alongside I wanted to try someone local, a worthing based company also a company who I DONT WORK ALONG SIDE.

Firstly, the installation I had to correct a couple of months down the line as I wasn't happy with how the fibre tubing was attached to my wall but that is down to the engineers of City Fibre who don't work for BriantBroadband. However I had a Briant Engineer on my door step the morning of the installation and asked if I wanted him to set it up, I declined obviously as I know how to intergrate the router into my own network.

THE BIG PLUS is that unlike most of the BIG NAMED ISP's Briant Broadband are using a wifi 6 router!!! Thats a huge step in the right direction and way ahead of large companies (at the time of writing this) such as BT and EE who are still running WiFi 5!

When setting up that evening after city fibre had finally finished installation of my fibre line I had to contact Briant Broadband for the admin password for the router as I didn't want to factory reset it. I messaged briant broadband at 8pm to get a reply almost immediatly. I've now had BriantBroadband for about 3 months so far and right now the up time (according my raspberry pi network monitoring system) is currently 99.90%!! so for .10% of 3 months (which turns out to be around 2hrs I think that is mostly me playing around with my home network) Its VERY reliable. Also the router choice it allows you to fix any issues and FINALLY able to change DNS settings to a adblocker or a VPN unlike other providers!

HEY BRIANTBROADBAND?!!!! Need any extra engineers?

I love that I'm supporting a local worthing company instead of the large ISP's. IF you are reading this and your contract is coming close to an end seriously consider Briantbroadband.

OH and if you're a gamer/streamer etc my average ping is 5ms my download speeds and upload speeds means I can game, download and stream to twitch.tv without any hiccups or having any loss of packets!

For a small company, smaller than your normal ISP and a local company I'm very impressed and have spoken to my neighbours about Briantbroadband.
