Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish
I had a deeply frustrating experience with this company from start to finish. Communication was terrible—updates were infrequent and unclear, making it difficult to plan around the delivery. Despite their website stating that I would receive a call an hour before delivery, this never happened, leaving me unprepared when they finally arrived.
The delivery itself was a disaster. The first attempt failed because they claimed I hadn’t provided access information, yet there was no prompt to include this during checkout. They then updated their website to make it look like it was my fault. On the second attempt, the driver showed up alone, expecting me to assist in unloading a large, heavy order. This level of service was unacceptable, especially considering the size and cost of my purchase.
When I raised these concerns, customer service was dismissive. They refused to take responsibility for the failed first delivery and wouldn’t refund the delivery fee. For a high-value order, their lack of support, poor communication, and unwillingness to resolve basic delivery issues were beyond disappointing. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable service or customer care.

At checkout, our system prompts customers to specify any access, weight, or height restrictions in the “Order Notes” section. This information helps us ensure a smooth delivery and is outlined in our Delivery Policy.

Came into Briarwood unsure about installation, left with confidence on my project. All materials in stock. Hats off to the guys who loaded me as well. Tried local companies but no answer. 100% recommend!

Not interested in my enquiry and then when the product finally arrived (late) they were damaged. 10 phone calls later, no call backs and no resolution. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Office staff promise call backs and never do. Save your money and go elsewhere , we did for the extra bits we needed and got them the next day from a local company.

No communication and Mislead on delivery date
Being local to me I thought I would support a family run business but this was a mistake.
Delivery was supposed to be within 15 working days.
This did not happen and zero Comms from them.
Contacted and promised they would get back to me as stock was arriving that week.
7 days later no communication once again and no items. 12 phone calls and an hour to get through to them I have to request a refund.
One star rating is one star too many and I don't seem to be the only one who this has happened to.
I would advise anyone to stay clear of these people.
Went to a different supplier, saved £250 and available today.

Scratched and damaged sheets told me to look at terms and conditions as it’s acceptable in small print. Expect customer services to say they don’t recognise the order in reply. Avoid And save yur money!

The delivery driver was exceptional
The delivery driver was exceptional, very accommodating, however the original order was incorrect although Briarwood corrected the mistake it still added to a delay in receiving the materials.
Overall quite happy with the products and delivery.

From having no idea to confident expert in 40 mins!
I arrived with my trailer and full of questions. The man in reception was very patient and informative and I left confident that I knew what I was doing. The dispatch team helped me load it and within 40 minutes I was on my way again. I have since fitted my garage roof and am very pleased. Thank you team.

I switched supplier because Briarwood promised a better delivery than the competitors but failed to deliver before a bank holiday weekend as promised. Meaning a whole three days lost on the project
