Brick loan asked for a deposit. They wanted a green dot card and they told me it wouldn't be activated until I got my loan. No loan and they ripped me off for my deposit. Said they would send me a check. Yeah right. They haven't. Beware

I did not want to take out a loan at all. I have never been a fan of asking for money but ever since my roommate moved out I have had trouble paying rent. I’ve been looking for a new one to no avail. I got invited to my old college roommate’s baby shower. I had all but forgotten about it until the day reminder app from my phone pinged out, the morning of. I was frantic.
