However I was looking for a small selection of facing bricks that are very hard to get and when I got them
Delivered, out of 170 bricks 27 were chipped on the face badly and not usable leaving me nearly short ,, better selection from picking stock would be a bonus

Bricks delivery
The whole.process from identifying the specific brick type, to ordering was easy. Responsible and delivery time also good. Because of limited access however I was asked to send more info. and photos. I was told that delivery would be by 7 1/2 ton truck. The delivery guy turned up in a 17 ton truck, which was unable to negotiate my driveway. We managed in the end, but hence 4 stars!

Bricks Order
Bricks arrived on time and driver put them exactly where I asked him to. They were in good condition and well prepared for delivery. The turn around time was extremely quick, I think I ordered them on a Thursday and they were delivered on the following Monday.
Gave me a call to say when the driver was near. All good really.

The delivery was ok and pretty quick…
The delivery was ok and pretty quick which suited my dates. I was a bit surprised that the delivery turned up and all the driver had was a pallet truck, we had to change were they were meant to go but however they are here which is what I needed.

Wrong Bricks delivered but still charged another delivery fee to rectify
Ordered the correct bricks (even spoke to someone for about ½ hr ensuring the correct bricks were ordered – needed brown/buff bricks, we received red bricks) but sadly the wrong bricks were delivered. Phoned and explained the situation and was told we needed to re-order the bricks but had to pay again and then we would be refunded, once they received the wrong bricks back. The wrong bricks were collected and a day & half later the correct bricks were delivered (in total took 4 days to rectify your mistake). We received the refund, but this was minus £180 + VAT for the collection of the wrongly delivered bricks and delivery of the correct bricks. I don’t understand how we can be charged delivery costs for your mistake. We have rang numerous times to try and resolve this issue and just come up against a brick wall (no pun intended). We just cant understand you charging us these additional delivery costs for your mistake. We are a very small firm, father and son and just cannot afford these additional charges, for something that was not our fault. Can you please look into this and kindly refund these additional delivery charges of £180 + VAT, it would be much appreciated.
This review is not all bad in fact there are a lot of positives and it started so well, quick delivery, positioned perfect on the drive, ok the wrong bricks were delivered but this was sorted and when the correct bricks came, they are great and match brilliantly. I just don’t feel it is fair to charge us the 2nd lot of delivery charges. I would happily change this review to 5* if the £180 + VAT overcharge is refunded.

I would like to highlight that we thoroughly reviewed all the records and correspondence related to your company's order. Please let me take you through my findings:
On 04/09/2023, we received a phone call inquiring about the Forterra LBC Regrades Facing Brick Pack of 390. The inquiry pertained to the quantity needed and the delivery timeline. It is important to note that we were not asked for any suggestions or feedback regarding bricks. Consequently, we have processed the order for the requested quantity of the specified brick.
On 06/09/2023, bricks were delivered and accepted upon delivery.
On 11/09/23, the customer who had placed the order informed us that an incorrect order had been received. He made it clear that a mistake had occurred somewhere in the process and that he had been given incorrect information about the bricks they needed to order.
Importantly, he confirmed that this error was not our responsibility.
Subsequently, we initiated the process of returning the incorrect order and placing a new one.
We have maintained clear communication over the phone and email, where we reconfirm that due to the use of a third-party company for the haulage and being charged for the movement of the bricks from the Yard to the customer, as well as from the customer back to the yard, we will apply £180+VAT collection charge on the original order. The customer has agreed to the collection charge being deducted from the original order.
However, to minimise return charges, we have negotiated with the Yard to waive the 10% Restocking Fee.
We have informed the customer that the new brick will be treated as a separate order, and the new shipping charge will apply.
Although we were assured the bricks returning to the yard would be in fine condition, all the bricks returned were exactly the same as when they were dropped off, apart from some of the wrap tearing a little bit when collecting. We have found that the returned bricks with one band of bricks had collapsed due to a damaged package with a snapped strap.
Despite this, we agreed to accept the bricks at our yard and proceeded with the refund for 858 bricks, deducting the collection charge as per our agreement.
We have processed a refund with the collection charge of £180+VAT, as per the agreement with the customer that was reconfirmed over email and phone call.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any further refund in this instance.

We did spend thousands using Brick wholesale so we would expect better treatment. We will not be returning after this project.
